It is located in Pettineo, medieval village, town rich in history and traditions, the center of the 'Fiumare art' and the famous Valley Halaesa.
Right place for tourists looking for unspoiled nature, but at the same time places provided with any service: supermarkets, restaurants, pizzerias, pubs, bars and nearby bathing beaches, disco and beautiful beaches !!!

Oase der Ruhe

Der Aufenthalt in dem Haus von Elisabetta hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es ist sehr ruhig - pure Entspannung. Das Haus bietet alles was man braucht. Die Lage weit von Touristen - was uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Aber mit dem Auto ist man überall schnell. Eine klare Empfehlung für einen ruhigen Urlaub und wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge.Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und immer hilfsbereit.

The apartment is situated in a typical Sicilian village. The garden has a citrus tree. The apartment has everything you need to have a great stay. From the balcony you have a great view. By car you can visit the beautiful beach of Tusa and many other nice places. The owner of the house gave also some valuable ideas about what to visit when we were there.

Très agréable séjour

Elisabetta nous a très chaleureusement accueillis et s'est montrée particulièrement disponible pour répondre à nos questions. Ses conseils pour profiter de la région furent parfaits. Pettineo est un village simple et authentique, très bien pour se reposer loin des hordes touristiques du mois d'août. La plage de Castel di Tusa (8km) est familiale, calme, l'eau est propre (petit conseil : prévoir des aquashoes car plage de galets). Nous avons également pu découvrir avec beaucoup de plaisir les ravissants villages des Madonie (outre des sites plus touristiques tels que Cefalu). La maison est conforme aux photos. L'intérieur est sobre, la décoration peut paraître désuète et le confort sommaire mais nous avons apprécié l'espace (famille de 5 pers). La climatisation de la cuisine fut bien appréciée (et des ventilateurs se trouvent dans chaque chambre). Il est aisé de se garer dans la rue devant la maison. Une epicerie se situe à quelques mètres.

fantastic, wonderful, gorgeous!! Owners are marvelous and warm funliving folk

This property is a must go to. It is absolutely beautiful with a gorgeous backyard with fruit trees and picnic area. There is a view from the yard and balcony that is spectacular of the hillside and ocean. The home has every single thing that anyone would need and is clean, and perfectly appointed. The people are marvelous and welcoming!! They are absolutely accommodating to any difficulty you may experience and give suggestions – like the festivals which make the stay there so very interesting and enjoyable. Stay there!!

Un merveilleux accueil!!

Très agréable séjour passé en famille dans cette maison typique sicilienne, spacieuse et très propre, située au coeur d'un petit village dont les habitants sont très sympathiques. Les propriétaires, Elisabetta et Alessandro, nous ont reservé un merveilleux accueil. Nous avons pu goûter aux légumes du jardin, à l'huile d'olive de leur production, aux biscuits siciliens....un régal. Nous recommandons vivement cette location qui permet un parfait dépaysement en sicile.

Excellentes vacances à Pettineo en famille.

Elisabetta est très accueillante et la maison est spacieuse, propre et agréable. Tout était à notre disposition et nous n'avons manqué de rien. La maison est bien placée, à 10 minutes de la plage et en même temps dans la montagne où les paysages sont magnifiques. On trouve tout à quelques mètres de la maison (épicerie, pain...). Le village est typique et charmant. Les gens sont très accueillants. Il est facile de se garer dans la rue devant la maison. A recommander !

We will come back to Pettineo

House with a nice view and all comfort situated in a typical sicilian village slightly in the mountains. Friendly owners as well as the inhabitants of the village. We felt immediately home. Strongly recommended, but a car is required.

Sizilien in seiner Ursprünglichkeit

Das "Ferienhaus am Meer" liegt nicht wirklich am Meer, sondern 7km entfernt in Pettineo, einem sehr ursprünglichen sizilianischen Ort in den sich nur wenige Touristen verlaufen. Dies hat uns gut gefallen, denn man bekommt dort alles was man braucht: kleine Lebensmittelgeschäfte, Bäckereien, ein Gemüseladen, Metzgereien, Bars und eine zu empfehlende Eisdiele sind vorhanden - Restaurants oder Pizzerien jedoch nicht. So kann man wirklich in das Leben einer italienischen Kleinstadt eintauchen, die Bewohner kennen einen sofort (man ist Stadtgespräch). Das Quartier selber ist recht gut eingerichtet, alles notwendige ist da, müsste aber doch mal "ausgemistet" werden, denn es steht viel Krimskrams herum, der auch nicht wirklich sauber ist. Wir haben uns vor allem in der Küche aufgehalten, denn sie ist gemütlich, das Wohnzimmer hat den Charme eines Empfangszimmers eines italienischen Anwalts. TV ist in der Küche vorhanden, jedoch nur auf italienisch, weder deutsche noch englische Sender. Das Bad hat nur eine Badewanne ohne Duschvorhang, ist ansonsten aber sehr schön. Das Doppelbett besteht aus einer Matratze und hat eine Decke für beide, die Einzelbetten sind recht schmal und durchgelegen, aber noch o.k. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die Vermieterin: sie ist sehr freundlich, hat uns Olivenöl und Tomatensauce zur Verfügung gestellt und in der Küche waren viele Lebensmittel vorrätig (Nudeln, Kaffee, Zucker, ...).

mare e campagna

La permanenza a Pettineo è stata rilassante. La casa è molto spaziosa, ben arredata e fornita di ogni confort in ogni ambiente interno ed esterno; inoltre possiede un balcone anche con vista mare. I padroni di casa sono gentili e molto disponibili per ogni necessità. A pochi km un mare "bandiera blu" e dintorni ricchi di storia e attrazioni...anche culinarie. Consigliato.

THIS is vacationing in the real Sicily!

We spent two weeks at the Casa, and we will never forget them (over Christmas, mind you, I can't imagine how amazing it would be in the summer!). If you are looking for the TRUE experience, the real Sicily, one of the most beautiful, historical, culturally rich places on the planet, then you need to stay here. The location is perfect. Vistas of the mountains, minutes from the bluest waters on the sea, and surrounded by medieval villages, pottery towns, fresh fish, cheeses, and wines...The house has everything you could possibly need -- wifi, air conditioning, a barbecue -- is impeccably clean, and is hosted by the wonderful Elisabetta. She's very warm and accommodating and really knows the land. Her family even has an organic olive oil orchard! I travelled with my husband (we're in our late 20s-early 30s), but it would also be ideal for families or groups because there is so much space and the owners are so nice, they'd give you whatever you need. We drove around the island, and Elisabetta was very helpful with directions and parking (no problem there), but you can also take a train to Castel di Tusa and they'll help you get to the house. The nature surrounding the property is stunning. The air is so clean, you can smell citrus and flowers everywhere. It's also very close if you're driving around to other cities on the island, so you get a perfect mix of undisturbed nature and lively culture. We spent our evenings dancing in the local squares underneath medieval churches in the village, after incredible dinners, and then you can go home to your HOUSE, lay back in the garden (which is yours), and watch the stars all night with a bottle of nero d'avola. It was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. Forget the hotels, guys, THIS is the experience you want. I would recommend it to anyone, and we will definitely be back!
