Spacious comfortable appartement

Nice appartement near the sea

A nice flat near the sea. The road in front of the appartement is very busy, a lot of noise, but not a problem inside the flat. Close to the station, shops and restaurants, everything is at walking distance.There are a lot of personal items in the flat, for me, a bit too much for a rental place.Closets full of towels, rugs, shoes in the walk-in closed, in the kitchen a lot of stuff that is clearly never used anymore. It detracts from the charm of the flat a bit in my opinion. Although my stay was fine. The owner (on distance)was very helpful and kind.

Living like a local (and enjoying it)

This apartment is big and clean and nice and has a big balcony an everything you need in the kitchen and a grocery store just on the other side of the street and the beach two minutes walk away (or is it three?). You walk five minutes to the railway station and ten minutes to the center of the town - you cannot demand more. It is a very good place to stay and the communication with the landlady can't be better. We enjoyed our time in Sestri Levante very much.

Spacious and relaxed

A lovely place to enjoy a relaxed time by the sea. We arrived by train - the apartment is convenient for the station, although the cleaning was running late, so our check in needed to be delayed. We had no problems during the week, and the apartment was as expected. We'd happily stay again if we came back to Sestri Levante. We weren't bothered by the noise at all, despite being close to the railway line. Elena kindly allowed us to leave our bags in the apartment on our final day which was very helpful.

Very nice large flat in a very convienent location

We spent one very enjoyable week in Sestri Levante. This is a very high quality property in a great setting. The apartment itself was well decorated, comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped for cooking. There were Gelato shops, restaurants, patisseries, train station, etc. all close by and the fantastic beach was just 2 minutes walk away. We enjoyed our trips to Portofino, the Cinque Terre and other nearby towns. We were able to get around effortlessly by train the entire week. There were markets closer, however we walked a little further to the Coop Supermarket where we were able to buy great supplies for cooking, eating and enjoying wine the entire week. Highly recommended - great location, fantastic host and spacious apartment

Perfect location for a wonderful holiday

We had a wonderful two weeks in the apartment in Sestri Levante. The accommodation was bright, spacious and comfortable with views of the sea. It was ideally placed for a 5 minute walk to the train station, from where you can explore the Cinque Terre and beyond. Giovanni met us when we arrived and gave us some great tips on places to visit and eat. He was contactable throughout the stay and even drove us on a tour of the area instead of us having to wait an hour for our train! Sestri Levante is a beautiful town itself with local restaurants, supermarkets and scenic beach front. You can also take the ferry to the Cinque Terre or Portofino. We will definitely be back...… not least to have more of the local focaccia! Thanks again Elena and Giovanni for a wonderful holiday

Spacious comfortable flat next to the sea

We had a one week stay in this apartment in November 2015. It looks like in the pictures provided so it really met all our expectations. The car can be parked directly next to the house. The big comfortable flat has everything you need, towels, bedding, washing machine in the bathroom, a nice kitchen well equipped with a big fridge, gas oven, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine and all the dishes you need for cooking, dishwasher, and so on. We could relax in the massage chair in the evenings and connect our notebook to the TV via the HDMI cable provided so we could watch webstream television with the perfectly working WIFI as there are only italian TV programmes. The flat is well located in the second floor with elevator, you can walk across the street to be at the sea and have a pizza in one of the nice restaurants, or walk into town to check out Sestri Levante or have a nice view on the town and the Baia del silencio. The owners provide information about where to get the best pizza or have a nice Focaccia at a local bakery. We did all our planning what to do in this area online when we were there, since the tourist information in town does not have too much information material. The area is very nice, nice landscape, little towns and of course the Cinque Terre nearby. We enjoyed our breakfast on the balcony, the house is next to a main street so there is much traffic but inside the flat you don't hear anything. The train station for visiting the Cinque Terre eg. is just around the corner. We were welcomed by the very friendly owner's father who showed us around and who we gave the keys to when we left. You can contact the owner with all the questions you have and you always get a quick and helpful answer. Since our stay was in November, many hotels or restaurants were closed and there were mainly local people around. Of course you could not enjoy the summer feeling at the beaches or go for a swim but we were very lucky with the weather and we enjoyed that there were not so many people around and we got a better impression of a "normal" and still sunny "Italia". Thank you again for a nice stay, we can definetly recommed this flat and we'd always come back here.

Wir waren zu viert und alle über 70Jahre.Das riesige Apartment war auf unsere Ankunft gut vorbereitet worden: einladend sauber, gute Beschreibung worauf zu achten sei.Alle vier hatten einen herrlichen Aufenthalt, zumal das Meer/ die Promenade sowie Bäcker und Lebensmittel uns direkt gegenüber lagen.Der Kontakt mit Elena war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Lediglich die Mülltrennung hatte den Makel, dass nicht alle Tonnen im Hof zu öffnen waren.Wir können die Anmietung unbedingt empfehlen.

Appartement … eine Wohnung in einem Haus mit anderen italienischen Mietern in einem Etagenhaus. Aber diese Wohnung ist ok und bei zuviel Stromentnahme fällt schonmal die Sicherung raus . Aber in der Anzeige steht 1m vom Meer entfernt … das sollte man nicht so ernst nehmen . Straße und 100m sind dazwischen .

Appartement coup de cœur

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. L’hôte est d’une grande gentillesse et l’appartement est parfait : spacieux, propre, fonctionnel, extrêmement bien placé. Léger bémol pour l’isolation phonique : difficile parfois de dormir tranquilles le matin mais immeuble très calme la journée et le soir. Mais nous avons adoré l’appartement, c’est un véritable coup de cœur et nous avons déjà l’intention de revenir !

Perfekt für Familien, Wandern und Meer

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in dieser Wohnung. Sie war sehr geräumig, sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die Kommunikation mit Elena war sehr angenehm und unkompliziert - genauso wie die ganze Abwicklung. Für uns als mit dem Zug reisende Familie war außerdem die Lage optimal. Der kurze Weg zum Bahnhof, zu allen Geschäften des täglichen Bedarfs, zum gepflegten Strand, zur Strandpromenade und ins Zentrum war ideal. Als Stützpunkt sowohl für Wanderungen und Ausflüge in die Cinque Terre, nach Portofino und Genua als auch für entspannte Stunden am Strand ist die Wohnung bestens geeignet. Wir würden uns sehr freuen, wenn wir diese tolle Erfahrung bei Gelegenheit wiederholen könnten.

Gut gelegene große schöne Wohnung

Wir waren 1 Woche Anfang Juni in Sestri L. Die Wohnung war für uns super, alles im Ort in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar gewesen. Wir haben unser Auto auf den mit einer Schranke gesicherten Parkplatz gestellt. Die Zufahrt zum Stellplatz war mit VW Touran wegen der Breite nicht ganz easy, aber geschafft 😀 Breitere Autos könnten schwierig werden. Dort stand unser Auto die ganze Woche, wir haben alles zu Fuss erledigen können: Kies-Strand in 1-2 min / die Stille Bucht (Sandstrand, super für Kinder) in ca. 8 min / Einkaufen in unterschiedlichen Entfernungen - Carrefour Nähe Bahnhof, ca. 5 min, Coop, größerer Supermarkt, ca. 12 min. / Bahnof ca. 6 min / Bäcker ca. 5 min / "Tante-Emma" Laden, also einer der nahezu alles hat, einfach über die Strasse 😄 der Laden hat gefühlt auch immer offen, sehr nett. Zur Wohnung selbst: schön groß und hell, sauber. Ist soweit auch alles vorhanden: Kapselkaffeemaschine, Kühlschrank, Töpfe, Geschirr...Ein kühles Bier war im Kühlschrank bereit bei Ankunft. Ebenso hat uns die Putzfrau einen Espresso zubereitet👍weil wir statt der vereinbarten 16 Uhr erst um 18:30 die Wohnung beziehen konnten. Aber das war ein minimales Manko. Einzig zu erwähnen, ist die Lautstärke aufgrund der recht stark befahrenen Strasse vorm Haus und dem Bahnhof direkt hinterm Haus. Für Babys evtl. ein Problem. Für uns war's ok - das ist der Preis, wenn man zentral wohnen möchte. Also für uns alles top, empfehlen wir gern weiter 👍👍👍

Alles ziemlich perfekt. Einziges Manko: die Durchgangsstraße und der Bahnhof. Beides ziemlich laut, auch nachts. Aber einen kleinen Haken gibt es leider immer.

A good place to stay

Really good large flat a minute from the sea with all the basics that you might need to enjoy the sea and surrounding areas. I would note that it is not the quietest location as the flat is located between the train line and a busy road but this would not put me off going back another time as you kind of adjust and block it out weird train sounds and scooters screaming along in the night. Thanks for the stay, it suited are little family reunion well.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

I love the house as it is really perfectly located (as an architect I judge a house by 3 attributes: location, location and location) as it is super-close to the sea(that you can see from the terraces), the promenade on the seaside, the downtown with shops and superstores and the train station to reach CinqueTerre and Portofino.
It is bright, spacious, well structured.
The kitchen is a large open space joined with the dining room - fully equipped.
The living room is extraordinarily large and ideal to enjoy movies at night as well as to read a good book while having a relaxing massage on the special chair.
The terrace in face to the kitchen is large and allows a sun bath or having a lunch/dinner up to 6-8 peoplewhile enjoying the view of a foreshortening of the sea
