Lake Mac House on Bayside Golf Club's 18th Hole

Please be aware that there are 3 security cameras that watch over the outside of the entrances for property safety. Also please be aware of the occupancy rule: Our house has a 6 adult max and 12 total guests max. There will be a fee of $150/night assessed for each additional guest over the max.

With great views of Lake McConaughy, our house is conveniently located on the 18th hole of Bayside Golf Club. Lake McConaughy is Nebraska's largest reservoir and offers outstanding boating, great fishing, swimming, and over 100 miles of white sand beaches. Bayside Golf Club is considered a world class public golf course. Whether your family wants to spend vacation on the lake or hitting the links, our house is perfectly located for both!

The space:
With 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms our place is ideally suited for a family who wants space or a couple families traveling together to come and enjoy the "lake lifestyle". With the deck overlooking the lake and the golf course, it really doesn't get any better than letting the sun go down while toasting your favorite drinks with friends and family and taking in the views.

An open concept on the main level makes the perfect place for your family and friends to enjoy a home cooked meal, great conversation, and a couple cocktails served from the wet-bar. The entire house is furnished with comfortable bedding along with granite counter tops, tile flooring, and leather furniture. With all of these amenities, your vacation will not only be relaxing but also luxurious. Three (3) of the bedrooms and 3.5 of the bathrooms are located in the main house. The fourth bedroom and a full bathroom, the grandmother's suite, is located in the loft above the garage. The grandmother's suite allows for great privacy if needed by any of your guests during the stay. The garage has room for one vehicle to park inside.

A couple more things available for use during your stay:
Smart TV's for streaming, Wireless internet, Propane grill and propane, a Margarita Blender, Deck furniture, fire pit (bring your own wood), 1 stall garage, Playstation 3 and games for rainy days, cards, numerous board games, and children's books.

Our place is kid friendly and includes the following items for your young family's use: Pack and Play, Rock and Play, Baby monitor, Bouncer for an infant, Booster chair.

Interaction with guests:

The house will have a complete book (The Golden Book) of information that will assist in answering any questions that may come up during your stay. We will not be "on-site" but our cell numbers will be provided in case there is something that comes up requiring immediate attention.

Our lake house is located on the 18th hole of Bayside Golf Club. There are 8 total duplexes in our community.

More information:

Lake McConaughy is almost entirely made up of sand shorelines and the beach our family uses most is less than 1/3 of a mile from the house. We usually drive to it with a 4x4 vehicle but it is an easy walk if you prefer. The boat ramp we put our boat in at is located 2.5 miles to the east in Van's Lakeview Fishing Camp.

If you don't want to cook one night during your stay we strongly recommend you look into Bayside Grill located inside the club house. Also HOOKS Lake Bar and Grill is located 2 miles away in a little lakeside community next to Vans Lakeview Fishing Camp and serves great bar food and tasty drinks!

Getting around:

Our lake house is located 15 miles Northwest of Ogallala NE. We are 177 miles from Cheyenne WY, 220 miles from Denver CO, and 286 miles from Lincoln NE . We are in the Mountain time zone.

House Rules:
- 6 adults max and 12 total guests max (will be monitored by exterior cameras)
-No Parties (we are geared for family stays)
- No Pets
- Park in designated spots (detailed in Golden Book)
- Must be age 28 or older to rent
- Quiet hours after 10:30 pm (have lots of fun but be very mindful of our neighbors!)
- No hitting of golf balls onto the golf course from the yard.
