Our centrally located vacation home is the perfect base for outdoor adventures and family fun in any season. Take a dip in the indoor pool ay Shanty Creek, or soak in the hot tub at Schuss Village, just a short drive away. Tee off at some of the most scenic golf courses in the state, or spend a day at the `Carribean of the north,` Torch Lake. Explore the breathtaking trails that dot our landscape - perfect for hiking, biking, and more. Don`t forget to climb to the top of Schuss Mountain for stunning views. Our neighborhood is full of paved, gently rolling streets and paths, ideal for a leisurely bike ride. And after a day of activities, relax on the deck surrounded by whispering hardwoods and the occasional chickadee.

The “Kingdom of Schuss” is also a paradise for skiers, snowboarders, and winter sports enthusiasts of all levels. Schuss Mountain offers a variety of winter activities for all ages. Explore the peaceful forests on cross-country skis or snowshoes, take the kids tubing, or take a thrilling ride on a Fat Mountain Bikes through the snow-covered terrain. After a day of fun, relax and warm up at the Treehouse, where you can gather around the fireplace and enjoy the company of friends and family.

The Treehouse sleeps 8+ comfortably and offers a full kitchen with complimentary coffee and tea, two full bathrooms, comfy bedrooms, and a spacious rec room with a pool table and old school video games. A large deck with a Finnish barrel sauna is also yours to enjoy. We have in house laundry facilities, and a pack n play type crib are also included.

The Bellaire area offers access to hundreds of attractions. Shanty Creek boasts five championship golf courses: Cedar River (Weiskopf), The Legend (Palmer), Schuss Mountain Course, Summit Course and Hawkseye. In addition, other excellent courses like The Chief are conveniently located nearby. Take a short trip to Lake Bellaire, Torch Lake, or Grand Traverse Bay on Lake Michigan for swimming or boating, or enjoy a nice, relaxing canoe ride down the Jordan river.
