Cozy Family Cabin in Schuss Village-Book now for Fall & Winter fun!!!

Recreation is abundant, as we are located in the Schuss Mountain Village of Shanty Creek Resorts, a major resort in the heart of Michigan's snow belt. We are steps away from skiing, golf, trails, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, restaurants, shopping, etc. In addition, this cabin is also close to the Chain of Lakes, rivers, boating, fishing and canoeing. We are minutes from the major downhill ski areas of Schuss Mountain and the Summit Mountain and five top-notch golf courses: Cedar River, Hawk’s Eye, The Legend, Schuss Mountain and Summit. This 1600 square foot cabin is cozy and comfortable with beautiful views all around. There are four bedrooms with four full attached bathrooms - great for families, a weekend getaway for the ladies or gentlemen or just for a couple! There is just something about this place, quiet, serene, awesome - come see for yourself.....

Are you looking to find a great place to spend your vacation? Then look no further for “Pure Michigan” fun than here at Schuss Mountain! Come enjoy the quiet comfort of our cabin, sitting in front of our quaint fireplace with a glass of Michigan wine or hot cocoa while the snow falls all around you. During the summer, use the large deck, grill and picnic table for family gatherings and games. Tell some jokes or sing around a fire at night. Also available is a two-car detached garage for your boat, snow mobiles or quads with easy access to get in and out on our circular driveway.

Be sure to try the famous Shorts Brewery in downtown Bellaire. Other favorites include Ruthann’s Gourmet Bakery & Coffeehouse for excellent goodies and coffee drinks and the Corner Bistro for dinner. You should also include touring the very popular Northern Michigan wineries featuring over 50 different wineries for some awesome views and “wine tasting.”

Beyond the resort, you will be minutes from great shopping, entertainment and casinos in the nearby Villages of Alden, Elk Rapids and Charlevoix where you can “shop” and “play”. Traverse City, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Mackinac are also within an hour of our cabin for exciting day excursions!

This is a BEAUTIFUL property with lots of space both inside and outside. Great beds, plenty of seating, nice kitchen, large refrigerator, very clean and lots of parking.

This was our fourth here in a row staying at this property for our annual family reunion. The property is always an excellent condition and very very clean. The Host is very friendly and welcoming. This is by far the best location and we plan on coming back again next year.

The home is lovely and spacious. It was perfect for 4 families. The beds and furniture were comfortable, big spacious yard for children to play. Wonderful fire, pit and large picnic table out on the deck. The host was very responsive if we had any questions. It had everything and more we needed. Would definitely stay there again.

We just finished a great spring skiing weekend at the resort and really enjoyed our stay at this property. House was well furnished for all of our needs, close to skiing, and offers the "Up North" charm you hope to find in a vacation rental.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how incredibly clean the house was—easily one of the cleanest vacation rentals we’ve ever stayed in. Everything was spotless and so well cared for.The location couldn’t have been better. It was the perfect home base for exploring the area while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. We spent the week with our family and it was exactly what we were hoping for.The beds were exceptionally comfortable, which made for great nights of sleep after long days out. The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the house cool and comfortable, it was VERY HOT this week.The home was well-stocked, welcoming, and exactly as advertised. You can tell the owners take great pride in providing an outstanding guest experience.We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and perfectly located place to stay. We have a great time staying here. The home was exactly as described in the listing. Having multiple sleeping options with onsuite bathrooms was a nice addition. Plenty of room for groups.

Great stay!

Our family of 5 along with my parents had a great few days! Access to indoor and outdoor pools, short drive to the lakes and so much more! The house was perfect for cooking, campfires and plenty of room!

Would definitely stay here again!

We loved the location of this property and were thrilled with having a bathroom in each bedroom. It was perfect for three different families with a bunch of kids.
