Charming villa with pool, blossoming garden & view

Villa Due Leoni is a charming villa on two floors with private pool and garden situated on a lemon estate halfway Catania and Taormina and at only 1 km from the sea and the village of Riposto, where you can find fresh fish every day.

The garden has been transformed into a real paradise with palm trees, perfect lawns and an orchard with all kind of fruit trees. From the terrace and the pool (10 x 10 meters, 140 cm deep) you can enjoy a stunning view on the coast and on Mount Etna, often puffing. The pool is open all year round.

Villa Due Leoni consists of:

- Ground floor: a huge living space with dining table, sofa bed, lounge and fireplace, separate kitchen and toilet. From the living and the kitchen you can access the garden.
- First floor: three double bedrooms, a large corridor / bedroom with two bunk beds (four sleeps), two full bathrooms, and a huge terrace with view of the Etna and the sea. Stairs connects the terrace to the garden below. The terrace has a veranda with a big dining table.

HH, Norway, October 2016: "This villa is truly on top of what we have experienced so far. Idyllically located in lemon plantation, Mt. Etna towering to the west and the Mediterranean sea to the east. The unspoilt village Riposto within easy reach by foot with several restaurants and local shops. Within short driving distances you even reach some of the most "necessary" attractions."

All in all, Villa due Leoni is a peaceful and authentic Sicilian villa, ideal for friends and family who wish to explore the Eastern side of Sicily.

Please note that a caretaker lives in a separate part of the property and completely respects the privacy of the guests.

A wonderful stay!

We had an amazing stay at the villa. We were a group of 9 - 6 adults and 3 children under 6. The house was perfect. Giovanni, the owner was so welcoming and accommodating. He checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect and it was! We spent most of our time in the outdoor areas- the beautiful patio, gardens and pool. This house is perfect for a group! Thank you Giovanni, for an amazing first stay in Sicily!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Due Leoni! The property is beautiful and we spent most of our time outside enjoying the gardens, the pool and the patio with stunning views of Mt. Etna. The home was clean and perfect for our group of 9 - 6 adults and 3 children. The modern appliances and AC were great. Giovanni was so welcoming and accommodating at check in and throughout our stay. The location is great to explore Silicy from Noto to Siracusa/Ortigia, Catania and Taormina. There are great local restaurants and we enjoyed a visit to a local beach. Highly recommend this property!

This was a wonderful experience. Our host Giovanni was unbelievably helpful and friendly. This was his families home, and he showed great pride. He brought us his estate wines and lemons, and was available to answer any questions immediately.The Villa itself was gorgeous, well equipped, and spending time at the pool during the hot summer was a delight. We were a car ride from Taormina, Ortigia, and minutes away from the Riposto waterfront and it's excellent restaurants. A perfect place to be a tourist and still have some resort-like down time. Thank you Giovanni for being a five star host with a five star property.

The villa is excellent and in a great location for many places in the East coast of Sicily. Being surrounded by Lemon groves and beautiful gardens was also brilliant! The pool and outside area are fantastic and the whole place is very spacious. Communication was easy and very responsive. Would love to visit again in future!

It’s a charming and quirky house. Lots of history and you feel like you go back in time as you drive down the driveway. The house is surrounded by beautiful gardens and lemon groves. Lots of care and attention is taken to the gardens and terrace/ pool area. House is great for big groups/families. The outside space on the terrace has everything you need. The interior of the house is like stepping back in time, from a decoration point of view and also the appliances in the kitchens (2 kitchens, one upstairs and one downstairs). Whilst the kitchens had everything we needed it is a little tiresome using a 20/30year old gas oven to make toast on a morning….. Giovanni was wonderful, very attentive, responsive and brought us gifts to the house from the local area. Brilliant added touch!

Great spot and a wonderful host

The villa has a rustic charm and the outdoor patio area was a great space for all the family and the kids loved all the fruit trees. Really helpful that the pool and steps are gated off to keep safe for the children. Giovanni was super helpful and easy to contact. Great time had by all :-)

Perfect Place

This villa was everything and more. It is private and close to all! Plenty of room and the pool is so inviting!! You can pick your own herbs to cook with. Relax by the beach than come back and jump in the pool! Rooms are large and open. The host was extremely hospitable. He stayed in communication with us during our stay I would highly recommend this villa.

We had the most amazing time staying at this fantastic villa. Mr & Mrs Foti and family were warm, welcoming and kind, nothing was too much trouble. Unique family-owned Lemon Orchard Farm opened to us with all its charming objects, painting, china and wonderful terrace with 360-degree view on beautiful garden, lemon trees, sea and the Etna volcano. Perfect for a relaxing winter vacation: we enjoyed the Sicilian sun during the day, the cozy fireplaces in late afternoon and tons of freshly squeezed lemon, orange and grapefruit juice all week long.

The house, the location and the whole atmosphere are a dream. Unfortunately, we were only there for a week and would have liked to stay longer. It was a beautiful house to spend 6 days with out family. Its importavgift to have car so you can go on trips from the house. The outside kitchen and the pool was amazing! The only thing that can be better is if they had lite more instruments for the kitchen. Other wise a great house and garden!

What a beautiful place! We were two families with 5 children 8-14 years old, and it was just perfect all over. Really an oasis, very lush and extremely well kept gardens with lots of flowers, impressive lemon orchard and just so very tranquil. Impressive house as well with lots of history and rustic charm. Very comfortable! The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and really wanted to make us feel at home. Lovely, clean pool and great views. We highly recommend this place!

If you want to relax by the pool to the sound of running water, while enjoying the view of Mount Etna, in a wonderful and huge villa that caters for everything you can possibly need, with wonderful hosts Mr Foti and family who couldn't have been more helpful or kind or generous .... then this is the place for you! Wonderful location, safe and quiet and tranquil in the lemon groves, ideal location very near to the shops, sea front, harbour ....just lovely. Omg this house and the hospitality by the host was top notch. Our experience has become a memory for life, living in the middle of an ecological garden where lemontrees surround you is beyond our expectation. Imagine waking up in the middle of the garden of Eden. The localisation of the property is very strategic if you want to visit great beaches, Taormina and the surrounding cities. The host was one of a kind, making sure that our visit would not lack anything. We are allready planning our next visit.
