"Lake Life" - Sam Rayburn

Tres dormitorios, uno con un rey, uno con una reina y otro con dos gemelos. Un baño, lavadero, sillón reclinable y sillón reclinable doble.
Gran lugar acogedor ideal para una escapada tranquila y relajante. Si está sentado en un porche tomando café, mientras el sol sale con una vista del agua, este es un lugar para usted.
Muy pocas áreas en el lago Sam Rayburn tienen una rampa para botes pública y esta es una de ellas. (Lo consideramos privado ya que está en nuestra subdivisión y muy pocos lo saben).
House se encuentra en un lote con dos lotes vacíos adicionales, por lo que hay mucho espacio para expandirse.
La mayoría de todas las propiedades en la subdivisión son casas de fin de semana con muchos que están en sus familias durante muchos años, por lo que la mayoría están muy orgullosos de lo que tienen. Si te gusta contar historias de peces, lanzar lavadoras, jugar 42 y simplemente mezclarte con los vecinos, creemos que disfrutarás de esta área.

Hay una pequeña tienda a pocas millas que tiene artículos básicos. (y cerveza) Las tiendas de abarrotes más grandes están a unos 16 km al este o al oeste en Broaddus y Pineland, y Powell Park se encuentra a la misma distancia al sur. Lufkin y Jasper están a unos 45 minutos.
El licor está a unas 25 millas de distancia, así que si eso es lo tuyo, planifica adecuadamente.

This cabin was super cute and well stocked with necessities needed in the kitchen. My only wish was that it was a little bit closer to the reservoir, less stumps down at that part of the lake and closer to gas stations and general store.

Wonderful time and the property was perfect. House was very well maintained and had everything you could need. Property owners were very friendly ans helpful. Made sure our stay was great. The community was very nice and the residents treated you like part of the community not just renters. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Amazing!!

I think this rental is one we enjoyed more than any where else we've stayed! The home was very comfortable cozy very clean we could want for nothing! The hosts were amazing as well! It rained and turned cold on us so we didn't get to do much fishing but that was completely okay because we spent a better part of our time on the porch in the rocking chairs having coffee and just watching the birds. We will definitely be back!

Great place near fishing

We stayed here for my son’s high school fishing tournament. The location was perfect, the boat ramp was really nice, the availability of a boat shed with electricity was nice for late evening preparations for the tournament. The cabin was really nice, and the host was very accommodating and helpful throughout the stay. We would love to stay here again!

Heaven on the lake

Perfect weekend getaway

Owner was super sweet and helpful. The cabin is so cute decorated, all bed were comfortable and cabin was very clean and nice. I thought the two beds in the pick was twin beds but they are actually two full size beds! Cabin has everything you will need. Nice quiet neighborhood. Perfect fishing location we tore up the catfish all weekend! Highly recommend

Amazing!!!

We came there just to get away for a few days. It was perfect!!! The cabin was super clean and gorgeous. It is stocked with anything you can imagine. The hosts are great. Ian was so welcoming and helpful. He is really awesome and always checked in on us. We will for sure be back!!! Next time the card game is on Ian!!!!!!!!

Nothing but awesome!

This was my first VBRO stay , the bar was definitely set high! Communication with the owner was flawless and very efficient. The house was way more than I thought it would be and the icing was the people around the neighborhood. One lady made cookies and brought them to the kids! Will definitely be booking again here if we stay in the area or have a tournament.

Loved this cozy Cabin

This was a perfect stay! The house literally had everything we needed right down to wood so we could enjoy an outside fire. The boat ramp was super close for our early morning launch for the Bass tournament. The hosts were so kind and friendly. Would stay here over and over again!

Hidden gem!

I almost don’t want to leave a review because I’m afraid it’ll be harder to book in the future, and I will absolutely be staying here again! Ian is an awesome host! I’ve stayed at many VRBO properties, and he’s the best host I’ve ever encountered. The neighborhood is super quiet and safe. There is a boat ramp right there in the neighborhood. The house itself is comfortable and has plenty of space for multiple guests. Will be back!

Family friendly and safe area

Ian is everything other reviewers said. He lives across the street and makes himself available whenever needed but never makes it feel like he’s watching you or being intrusive. He’s the neighbor you wish you had at home. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful and safe. Feels like the old days where everyone watches out for each other and you could leave your doors unlocked without having to worry; although, no one would do that these days. The house is neat and clean. There is a fan provided for each bedroom. At this time, one king bedroom has a mattress that is a little firmer than the other so it was nice to have a choice. Everyone slept comfortably and rested well. There are several boat launches nearby including one in the neighborhood that is in excellent shape. If you have others with you that don’t fish but enjoy sitting by the water and watching wildlife, the boat launch is close enough to walk to and has a picnic bench in the shade next to the launch area that is perfect to watch the squirrels play and listen to the birds while taking in the beautiful lake view. Would definitely recommend this place.

Great Cabin!

Very clean and the owners thought of everything! From a big porch fan down to the littlest details. We will recommend this cabin to everyone that comes to the lake! Owners live across the street and we’re available and responsive to everything we asked. Great location, great A/C!

Amazing Place

We really enjoyed our stay! It was super relaxing! Husband got a lot of fishing in and really enjoyed his Father’s Day! Ian and his wife are super sweet host! It is a beautiful home and we felt right at home! We had everything we needed! Ian is a great host and if we needed anything he was right there! They made sure our stay was amazing!

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the lake house. The owner Ian lives across the street and is super friendly and will help with any questions you may have. The house was really clean and comfortable. It is just around the corner from a neighborhood boat ramp so it made it really nice and convenient for a fisherman like myself. We will try to stay there again for sure.

Family Time

It was a wonderful week, we wanted to stay somewhere that all of our grandchildren could come and visit, if they could make the trip. We played tons of games cooked instead of going out to eat. The grands were able to have their own rooms and sleep late if they wanted to. The best thing was just to relax. Thanks Ian and Gayla for helping with our red headed step child, we often wonder about him. This was an experience we will not soon forget. Great place to slow down.

This is the nicest place I’ve stayed on Sam Rayburn I will make more reservations when it cools off a little. The host Ian was very nice and went out of his way to be helpful. It’s nice to have someone just across the street when you’re out of town.we will be back thanks again for everything.

The house was originally bought as a personal weekend camp, as are most of the houses in this neighborhood. In 2017 a house became available that we were able to move into and sell our house north of Houston. This has allowed us to share our personal weekend camp with great guests.

We started renting this property in 2019 with no expectation of its success. In the first 9 months we hosted more than 50 rentals with great guests that have confirmed why we bought it in the first place.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Sit on the front porch and enjoy the view of the water. The park at the boat ramp is a local favorite for the afternoon swim and just lounge out and enjoy the sun and the neighborhood association. Launch your boat within walking distance of this property. Anchor your boat at the boat ramp, walk to the house, make a sandwich for lunch, take a nap if needed. Walk back down and head out for the evening top water hits. Upon your return, want to sit around a fire? No problem. Want to sit on the porch and watch the moon rise? It is a beautiful sight.
The two king beds both have My Pillow® "washable" pillows and My Pillow® Giza cotton sheets. We have had many compliments on how great they feel.
Feel assured that the house will be completely disinfected and properly cleaned prior to your visit.
