Excellent location and beautiful top floor views! Vacasa staff were all awesome , especially manager Shayla and her assistant Alexis. They were dedicated and helpful in solving the issues with this condo. We are looking forward to our next vacation to Maui and booking through Vacasa.

Great view. Lovely pool. Floors were very dirty & sticky; at arrival toilet area needed cleaning. Small A/C unit didn’t work well. Some of the pots / pans are badly worn and need replacing. The grounds and pool at Kihei Akahi are beautifully maintained.

Mahalo for staying with us. All frying pans have been replaced. We will check the pots and replace as needed.A technician has looked into the AC and in order for it to work properly it has to stay exactly where it is. We have a note on it to explain how it works. Great location

If you do some research, you’ll recognize the benefits of this location. It is, however, a large complex with large buildings. In the tropics, you know what that means. Wasn’t a big deal for us. Our unit was stocked quite generously with supplies from everything we could need for toiletries, cooking, the beach, etc. Our only complaints are about the pillows- perhaps we’re spoiled but they were like cheap motel hard pancake style - and the fact nobody from the office called us back regarding our request for late checkout. We would return.

Perfect little stay

We enjoyed this stay in Kihei! The condo is walking distance from the beach, which is beautiful. We woke up, walked to the beach, and watched sunrise. The place was clean and we couldn’t ask for more. There is no A/C but two big fans and ceiling fan in room. It was manageable at night, can’t complain! Many restaurants around and others just a short drive down the strip. We loved it here and will hopefully be back one day!

Nice location with a good view

The location is great. The condo is cozy and has good amenities. My only issue was how hot it gets in the bedroom. THE AC is in the living room and doesn't cool down the bedroom and in Summer, the room gets very warm. Other than that, it is a really good place.

Comfortable and convenient

Stayed 4 nights for a quick trip to Maui. Condo is conveniently located to beaches, restaurants and other amenities. We received a little welcome kit to get us started with some basics which was a nice touch. Beach equipment could use some attention, adding an umbrella would be nice. Overall nice stay.

unité D612 is a paradise away from home

I booked this unit for the month of April .When I arrived the unite Was clean but a little depressing it needed a lot of love and attention.Thanks to Madame VIELA ,representing VACASA ,the unit had been furnished with missing elements day after day to make my stay as pleasant as possible.With out her attention, I would not at such a good time in paradise.

Great Location!!!

We stayed for a week at Kihei Akahi with our 6 year old...he loved it!!! The condo is directly across the street from a lovely beach on the southwest side of Maui. We are older and don't really care for the resort side (Westside) of the island, so this was great for us - much slower on this side. One of the pools was right below our room - another huge plus for the kiddo! We could walk to the natural food market and ABC stores, which has everything you could need and a great place to grab souvenirs. The condo itself was a bit dated, but they did update the kitchen so that was nice. We had an amazing view of the ocean which made coffee on the balcony a great way to start the day. There was some beach gear in the condo for use and that was SO appreciated! Some of it was pretty banged up/broken, but it was really nice to have some stuff to take down to the beach. We had a lovely stay! Thanks Vacasa!

4th time here

checking in and out a breeze.Love the assigned parking. Unit was clean glass door so clean both my daughter and I walked into it. Air conditioner a plus, ceiling fans in living and bedroom. Bed was comfy, TV easy to figure out. Beautiful sunsets. Love the grounds well taken care of.

Not What We Had Hoped For

Unfortunately, this stay was not as great as we'd hoped. Booking through Vacasa, through Vrbo, for a property that is managed by yet another company, was a mistake. We weren't able to check in until 4pm, and since neither the property manager nor Vacasa would hold our baggage (or let us drop it in the room), we had to wait at a nearby park for seven hours until we were let into the room. We had to keep playing phone tag between the property management co. and Vacasa, and neither party was particularly helpful. Ultimately, the condo's bedroom has no real windows, there were stains on the bedsheets, and our towels were all damp upon arrival. There are a couple of fans, but they were quite dirty, and the AC unit is across the apartment, so our night's sleep was fairly hot and uncomfortable. We would not recommend this spot.

Stayed here for my Daughters, Wedding.

I liked that, even if you didn't have a car rental, you can still go shopping or to the beaches, or sight seeing, or having several different restaurants to choose from. The condo itself was very nice and was equipped with entertainment. like boogie boards, snorkeling gear. coolers , beach towels, blow up tubes, beach chairs, and the umbrella! I did hear that bugs could be present because of all the nature which surrounds the property like, different species of beautiful exotic flowers. Palm trees, shrubbery. and besides a gecko looking baby lizard outside. I didn't see any ants, centipede, or bugs. I just made sure that I didn't leave any food out and cleaned up, every time I cooked or grilled. Common sense and basic house keeping is all thats needed. I would, for sure! Stay in this place again!

Great Spot great location

This place has some flaws they are pretty well documented on these reviews. We loved this place it was reasonably priced and in a great location. Top floor sunsets were great. The snorkel gear is such a nice perk. Chairs and a cooler. We will be back for sure.
