Hodnett Cooper Vacation Rentals is proud to present this one-bedroom, one-bath oceanfront condominium at the St. Simons Beach Club on St. Simons Island.

The Beach Club at St. Simons Island is a favorite Island destination for couples, families and beach lovers alike. These condominium residences are oceanfront with a private boardwalk to the beach. The building itself is U-shaped with a beautifully landscaped, lush center courtyard. Within the courtyard are a fountain and two secluded hot tubs. Also on site, and for the exclusive use of residents and guests, are a tennis court, oceanfront swimming pool, children's pool, fitness center, business center and barbecue grills. For guests who enjoy exploring the Island on the miles of paved bike paths, The Beach Club offers bicycle rentals on site. Access from both Ocean Boulevard and the beach boardwalk is gated. Located on a desirable stretch of beach and convenient to all the St. Simons Island activities, The Beach Club is an excellent choice for your St. Simons Island getaway!

Beach Club 305 includes a fully-equipped kitchen, private balcony and combined living and dining area.

Beach Gear Credit Now Included Hodnett Cooper has partnered with VayK Gear, a beach delivery service provider to offer beach gear rentals to Hodnett Cooper guests in participating properties. Confirm a new reservation with Hodnett Cooper Vacation Rentals at a participating property with length of stay between 2 – 14 nights, arriving March thru October, and receive a daily credit from VayK Gear towards beach gear rentals during the stay! Use your credit for adult and children's bicycles, chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, boogie boards, coolers, cornhole and more – the choice is yours!

Great second stay

Overall a great stay as we have come to expect. There was a dead bird on our patio that took two days for the rental company to remove. The cloth portion of the umbrella was also ripped from the frame but we managed to repair it. The customer service portion of vayK life was more than accommodating in that regard. We have come to love St. Simons and the really enjoy the property. We will be back!

Return to St. Simons

I have stayed at the Beach Club many times in the past, but it has been about ten years since my last visit. It is just as lovely as I remember. As an additional benefit, they now have a service that will deliver beach chairs, umbrellas, and bikes to the condo. It made everything so easy.

Facility excellent, unit so so

The Beach Club facility was excellent and well maintained. The unit that I stayed in had a very dirty couch. It smelled so bad I could not sit on it. The rest of the unit was well kept but could use a deep cleaning.

Wonderful property

My family had a wonderful stay here. Great location, access to the pool and hot tubs and beach! Loved how easily accessible it all was! Will return!

Beach Club never disappoints!

Our first time in this unit but we visit Beach Club often. We booked last minute for the holiday weekend and we’re pleased with this unit.

Everything we needed!

The building is a bit dated, but the apartment has been updated. We loved having both a pool and direct beach access. Would definitely recommend.

Great Location!

Great condo! Very spacious for 1 bedroom and nicely updated. Easy access to beautiful beach! Bike riding distance to pier, shops and restaurants. Property managers are very helpful. We'll be back!

Very nice unit, clean and close to beach. Only complaint would be mattress needs to be replaced & entirely too many codes to remember.

Nice Cobdo

Nice condo with all linens and supplies provided for our stay. TVs and appliances worked great, especially the ice maker! The only negative we found was the parking which was so tight our car got scraped by an unknown driver on the passenger door. Recommend you seek a parking space in outside parking lot if available.

Noisy

You can't sleep in because each morning you are awakened by the garbage pickup. Palmetto bugs, that look like roaches, invaded the balcony each night. The best way to avoid them is to sit in the dark.then you are only bothered by 4 or 5 at a time. The building is dated. There is only one elevator on the side of the property where we stayed and it didn't work at all checkout day. We had to lug out belongings down 4 flights. The interior, including all furniture, needs updating. The bed is not comfortable and the needs replacing. The bathroom is tiny. Any more than 2 people is too many in this unit. There were a lot of non-guests that trekked back and forth from the beach. Most days there were no available chairs at the pool.

much needed getaaway

We just returned from The Beach Club of St Simons. AND IT WAS PERFECT! The Beach Club property was beautifully landscaped & well maintained. The gym was great & had just about anything you would need for a complete workout. The bike rentals were on property & reasonably priced. Parking/elevators were great. Staff/property management were first class & very kind.The pools/ hot tub appeared well kept, however the weather was too cold for me to jump in.The Beach chair service also seemed wonderful, but we brought our own in a wagon. Beach access was easy so it wasn't hard to do. In regards to this particular unit, I give it a A-. However, let me preface by saying I read other reviews about this unit, then I called the rental management to clarify some concerns, of which he did respectfully, accurately,& professionally.The unit HAS BEEN UPDATED, but I think this is the fist review to reflect the update. The floors are tiled. So no more carpet. The furniture appeared newer & in good condition.The sleeper sofa was comfortable. The dining area was comfortable. Chairs could use a new cushion/upholstering. The Kitchen was pretty well stocked: Soaps, dish detergent, towel papers, utensils, etc were available. We used their pots/pans as we had a couple of meals in. We also used our paper plates because its vacation, I don't want to do dishes here or there! There is a washer/ dryer w/ detergent tabs available The bathrooms had plenty of towels, soaps & toilet paper. One previous reviewer mentioned the toilet wouldn't flush well. We had no problems. There are no handicap bars in the shower and I feel that would have been an added bonus and not too expensive to add this safety feature. Just a thought. Bring your own blow dryer. I assumed every hotel/condo provided one. But they don't claim that they have blow dryers, so that's my fault. The bedroom was a great size with access to the balcony.The bed was large, almost too large as the linens/comforter didn't fit properly: hence there were" middle of the night sheet/comforter battles"! plenty of storage and space. TVs in bedroom and living room. The building is an older building as mentioned by previous reviewer; but that's not a bad thing. While the building was pretty filled up, noise was never an issue. It seemed very well insulated/noise proof. Never had to worry about keys & the door has a keypad/code. Great place. Its a comfy rental. You're not buying it, so keep expectations realistic. Will RETURN

Great weekend getaway

Had a death the weekend we were to attend. They allowed me to change my date so that I could use it and not lose my money. However there are way too many additional fees tacked on to the purchase it is ridiculous!

The Enjoyable Week (notwithstanding too much rain)

It is well located. We liked the beach. We found that management quickly addressed our questions and the few small issues that we had.

Excellent choice for a family vacation

This beach resort was perfect for our family vacation. From the first communication concerning the reservation, everything was perfect. The unit was very clean and the the location was beautiful. We enjoyed the local area and history so much. We will definitely return !

Perfect short stay!

My husband and I had a short weekend getaway and this unit was just as described. Quick walk to the beach and you can even see it from the balcony. Would definitely stay here again.

Unit needs more maintenance

Wonderful stay

This was our first trip to St Simon’s Island, but definitely won’t be our last! We enjoyed the trip so much! Our accommodations were even better than we could have hoped for. The condo had everything we needed, from gadgets in the kitchen to a super comfy king sized bed. The neatly kept landscaping, stunning pool area and convenient beach access was perfect for fully enjoying our outdoor time. We are definitely looking forward to our next trip to St Simons Island!
