The host was wonderful in all communications. The house was quaint and cozy... just like the name. Entering the house were three steps. The house was clean and had the feel of a 50's bungalow, creaky floors and all. The first floor had two bedrooms, kitchen, living room and full bathroom. A blanket and pillows in the attractive living room made it very comfortable to watch TV. Internet was good. The two queen beds (one in each first-floor bedroom) were hard. The kitchen had adequate appliances and wares, a Keurig and a drip coffee maker, but no dishwasher. The usable garage was a nice perk. The patio at the rear of the house was lovely with comfortable furniture. We used a plastic hanger to hang our towels in the bathroom that lacked a towel rack. We avoided the basement because it was wet, which may explain peeling paint on the dining area wall in the kitchen. There was No hint of mustiness, and this did Not disrupt our stay whatsoever. Plan to bring any information you need for area attractions and something to write on. None were provided for our visit. All in all, I was very pleased with our host, and we enjoyed our stay.
