We have remodeled our unit to include all new bedroom, living room, dining room furniture, appliances and accessories.

We have everything you need:

- AC in living and bedroom (and ceiling fans in living and bedrooms plus oscillating fans for added airflow)

Great stay in Poipu

This is a great place for our little family. The ground level unit is wonderful to walk out and walk over to the beach. The shops across the street are nice and Poipu beach is a quick 3 minute drive away. The pull out mattress could be replaced for something much more comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The host was so sweet and left a gift card for the coffee shop across street and a hand written note, which was very thoughtful and appreciated. Would stay here again!

Another Amazing Stay

This is our second stay at this beautiful, updated Kiahuna condo. The condo is located near restaurants, shopping and most importantly, the beach. The unit has a fully stocked kitchen and a closet full of beach items. The owner was great to work and was super responsive. Will definitely be staying here again, on our next trip to Kauai!!!

Slice of Hawaiian Paradise

We had a very comfortable stay. We have a family of 4 and it was a one-bedroom with a foldout couch, and we were very happy with the amount of room and how easy we could unfold and fold the couch each day. Everything was easy to use and find in the kitchen. We will definitely stay again.

Excellent in every way!

We were so delighted with every aspect of our stay in this sparkling clean, comfortable, well-appointed condo. Its location was perfect. We loved being able to walk right out onto the huge lawn with just a short, easy walk to the beach. The owners provided a closet filled with beach toys from umbrellas to boogie boards. With an especially comfortable bed and very well-stocked kitchen, we couldn’t have been happier!

Family time

The Plantation is such a great place for families to gather. We had 6 different families and everyone had their own unit. We loved staying in the remodeled AIR CONDITIONED #151. It had everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. The owner was also wonderful to accommodate us with early check in and late check out. We would highly recommend!

Paradise found!

We have stayed at Kiahuna many times and unit #151 is one of our favorites! Great location within the property and the unit is very nicely done. Lots of beach extras, all the kitchen supplies you'll need, and a very comfy king bed. Loved sitting on the lanai each morning for breakfast. Very private and quiet. Snorkeling the beach in front was wonderful. Deena was a delight to work with. Hope to return soon...we love this place!!

Great unit, good location

Property was just as represented: clean, nice ground floor view of the grass, well stocked. Have stayed at the Kiahuna Plantation many times before, first time in this unit, it was very good relative to others. Orientation meant the outward facing patio/furniture were in the shade during the afternoon when hottest, so was nice for evening relaxing. The owner of the property was terrific in greeting us online before we got there, being available should we have any issues.

Another great stay in paradise

4th return to kiahuna plantation since 1991 wedding here, 2nd time this unit. Will be back next year. No issues. No complaints. Found some new dining options, including food trucks in koloa town. Windy and high surf but we found other things to do. Even the drag races!

Retreat to Paradise

The condo is lovely, clean and comfortable just like the pictures. The patio is more private than others at this location. The owners are gracious and kind. Kiahuna Plantation provides beauty everywhere you look, a brief walk-through lush landscaping brings you to the beach and you can walk for over a mile along or on the beach. We saw turtles on the beach at sunset and swam with them during the day. The Sheraton is right next door with beach side restaurants. The workout center is just wonderful, pool, weight rooms, pickle ball, tennis, shuffleboard, bar and more. We will return, not wanting to leave at this moment.

Great Apartment and Host

Really nice apartment in a lovely park like setting. Quiet and well looked after grounds. The unit was really comfortable, super clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The host was lovely with a welcoming note, starter pack of coffee/sugar/etc... The beach equipment was great to have on hand and the beach towel swap with the resort worked fine. Appreciated the info book on the area and the unit equipment. Air conditioning in the bedroom was great for sleeping, didn't need it during the day with the cross-breeze. We researched a lot of units in this area, and were really happy with choosing 151!

Excellent Beachfront Rental

Our family regularly visits Kauai and we’re pretty familiar with the Poipu area. This property provides easy access to Kiahuna/Sheraton beach. Surf lessons can be booked through Kauai Surf School which is located on site at the beachside surf shack. There are shops and restaurants located across the street. The unit has folding beach chairs, beach umbrellas and some snorkel gear. There is a kitchen with stove/oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. No washer/dryer in the unit. The unit has one bedroom and a sofa bed. It was just right for our family of three. Overall a very good rental property if you are planning to stay on the south side of Kauai.

Beautiful but

Beautiful property with well kept gardens. The view from the lanai looked like small golf course greens. The football field size grass area above the beach was well kept with lounge chairs to enjoy the view but were not allowed to use umbrella. So, you could only tolerate max 30 minutes before roasting in the sun. This was the only negative about the whole property. My wife is handicap and unable to walk in the sand. We purposely choose properties that have grass area adjacent to beaches for that reason. Not able to use an umbrella was unbearable. The only shade was back to the room. Thus rule should be changed. Thank you for supplying the umbrella but maybe put an asterisk next to it.

Amazing , will go back …again and again!

Everything about the property was great ! I can’t say enough good things ! A/C worked excellently which I am so glad I had , as the nights were a little warm, location was great , both the condo and in poipu. You can walk everywhere. It is located between two resorts , which has no impact on the stay, and actually is wonderful because you get the amenities without the noise and foot traffic. The condo was in excellent condition, super clean and updated, pictures are spot on. The grounds are pristine, gorgeous and tropical , VERY well maintained . There are not hordes of people around or large groups gathered, it was INCREDIBLY quiet , no road traffic. The beach was perfect , waves were a little high but nothing you couldn’t float in, perfect for beginning surfers and tweens / teens but it was windy during my stay. It would have been too much for little ones , but there is a great pool with a beach for them across the way , by the gym. Which was also a plus. Nothing fancy but a good amount of equipment . There is a restaurant in the same complex , so you can get poolside drinks and walk home ! The unit doesn’t have a beach view but it really is a 2 min walk around a corner , and honestly , it didn’t matter as I spent most of my time at the beach on the beach chairs ( provided in the room! ) with my feet in the sand . I will highly recommend it for my friends and family and plan on going back.

We are avid travelers and cherish all of the places we have been fortunate enough to visit. We have been traveling to Poipu for many years and fell in love with Kiahuna Plantation and Poipu Beach and all that the island has to offer. We call it our home away from home.

Why they chose this property

Deena traveled to Poipu as a young girl and now we bring our own kids and grandchild to experience paradise. To this day our favorite place to travel to is Kiahuna Plantation, on the sunny side of the Kauai, and we hope you love it as much as we do.

The plush greenery which is so well maintained by the staff is all around the property and you can sit and relax on the Lanai while enjoying the natural beauty.
