An authentic mansion near Beaune in a well-known wine village

A large authentic style manor, located between the vineyards of Beaune and those of the “Côte Chalonnaise”, spacious enough to welcome your family or friends and discover the great wines, gastronomy and charm of Burgundy and its villages. This old vineyard house with a lot of character can accommodate up to 14 people. The luxury kitchen is highly equipped, including a premium range cooker, dishwasher, American style fridge and Nespresso machine. You can enjoy your evenings in two large living rooms with high ceilings including two fireplaces and a dining room. There are in total 7 bedrooms, of which 6 with have their private bathroom.
The house has a large parking and is surrounded by a lovely private garden and park of almost 2,5 acres. A bakery, a grocery store and a gourmet restaurant are within walking distance.

Rully is a renowned wine village that hides many architectural gems. You can also visit the area of Cormatin Castle, Cluny Abbey or Beaune City.
Sports enthusiasts get caught by the proximity of the Voie Verte (France's largest cycling network) or can make wonderful walks through the vineyards.
Gastronomists find their way to one of the many restaurants in the vicinity (3 stars restaurant at 3 km). Three montainbikes at your disposal to explore the area.

The house is an incredible space to host a large group and has tons of personality. Each bedroom is well thought out and uniquely decorated, and the kitchen is very well equipped. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. I couldnt be happier with the choice of venue for our trip to Burgundy and would definitely stay here again.

Central location, great stay

The villa was huge and could easily accommodate larger groups than our three couples. The grounds were expansive and well suited for outside leisure and dining. The Rully location was super both in terms of accessing everything that Burgundy region has to offer as well as for enjoying local amenities such as bakeries, restaurant, wineries, etc. Sigrid was extremely helpful throughout the whole vacation process. A hugely enjoyable week.

Beautiful Manoir Perfectly Appointed

We all loved this property and appreciated all the little details that were taken care of by the owners. The building has been very lovingly restored and furnished. It is located in a very quiet town and is accessed by a large gated driveway. Even though it is semi-urban the property is huge. I would guess it to be about 4 acres or more. There are a lot of gathering spaces including no less than three dining locations and many comfortable seating areas. The bedrooms were very large and well appointed. The pool is quite new and we used it often. Overall, we wanted for nothing and loved our stay! Highly, highly recommended!

A charming large manor house and lovely pool/garden in Burgundy

We were delighted with this lovely property. It’s very charming with an aged feeling that kept on surprising us. We were a four generation family, with some friends coming and going. The cooks among us were very happy in the well-equipped kitchen and the bedrooms large and beds comfortable. The bathrooms were slightly quirky in a French way but the hot water pressure and availability were great. The pool was fantastic with a huge garden including various interesting areas. The sunken pond area - which I called the ‘Roman bath’- was fascinating. Near the pool is a great BarBQ area with a proper outdoor table setting. Our host Sigrid was very helpful answering questions - like which Nespresso pods we needed - the original ones. It’s a flat 20-25 minute walk from the train station but you really need a car to explore the area.

Perfect family vacation home

We were a vacationing family of 8 adults and 3 children, 2 and under, and this home gave us plenty of space and privacy. The bedrooms are large, and the attached bathrooms were modern and spacious. The 2 large sitting rooms meant that a quiet space was always available. We ate most dinners in the formal dining room, nicely decorated and gracious to remind us we were staying in a mansion. The kitchen was our favourite, with its large island, table, and sun streaming in most days. It was well equipped, with plenty of dishware, cutlery, pots and pans, condiments, a large frig and stove, a good coffee maker. Outside, there are plenty of pleasant areas to relax, catch the sun, or enjoy the shade. A nice variety of outside furniture, all in good shape. The 2 year old loved running all over the huge property. There were 4 bikes, 2 in very good shape, which we used to bike all over the area (we also rented 2 more bikes from an outfit in Beaune). The house is about a 5 minute ride to the canal, and from there, the biking choices are endless. Rully is a quieter village, and we never tried the one restaurant there. The 2 boulangeries were good, and the small grocery supplied basics, but closes every day at 12:30. Chagny is close, and the Sunday market is very good. We did some wine tastings in Rully, and really enjoyed the setting of the town, and its proximity to the canal, Chagny, and many other wine towns and vineyards. Renting of the house was very smooth, the owner always quick to respond to my questions. We arrived later in the evening, and the neighbour happily showed us around, and checked in on us a few times to make sure all was well. In the house is a good selection of information about the area, and lots of books, magazines, and games.The house was well maintained and very clean. You could tell the owner takes pride in her house, and has decorated it in a lovely French manner, not cluttered, but tasteful. We felt we were really on a French holiday, staying in this beautiful house that reflected the life it once had as a family home.

Nous avons passé un week end génial !!! Le manoir est magnifique avec beaucoup de charme et très spacieux. Nous étions 6 couples et chacun d’entre nous avons pu avoir une chambre. La cuisine est super bien équipée et une literie très agréable. Le village est très sympa avec beaucoup de vignerons à visiter. Les gens sont très accueillant. Sans hésiter nous réserverons à nouveau. :)

Très confortable maison - on adore !

C’est la seconde fois que nous louons cette maison et nous étions une nouvelle ravis de notre séjour. La maison est très agréable, bien chauffée, bien équipée et avec des matériaux de qualité. Chaque pièce a un charme unique et rend le moment passé très appréciable. Nous n’avons pas profité de l’extérieur, de qui logique en janvier, mais l’intérieur est totalement fidèle aux photos. Aucun bruit la nuit. Sigrid est très réactive aux messages ce qui est très appréciable et fait tout pour rendre agréable notre séjour. Olga présente à notre arrivée est adorable et disponible pour faciliter notre séjour. Localisée près des beaux villages bourguignons et à 20 min de Beaunes. Nous reviendrons, c’est sur !

Exquisitely Renovated French Manor House

This house was exquisitely restored with close attention to period detail. It is perfectly curated and integrated with antique fixtures and objects d’art as well all the modern comforts you could want. The kitchen is one of the most well equipped I have ever stayed in so the owners must be cooks. There are lovely spots to sit throughout the gardens with comfortable furnishings. The house itself is perfect for large families or a selection of couples. The location is ideal for touring Chagny, Beaune and the rest of Burgundy. Sigrid was incredibly responsive, helpful, flexible and kind. I can not recommend the home and Sigrid highly enough. We had a completely charming and comfortable stay. Thank you again for sharing your lovely home.

We spent an amazing week in Rully. The property is beautifully decorated and a real home-from-home in terms of comfort and the facilities there. The outdoor space is great - four different seating areas depending on where you want to be. Sigrid and her family go out of their way to make sure you have all the information prior to arriving. Manoir fantastique!

Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse dans le Manoir de Puyval et il ne manquait riens! La cuisine est si grand et bien équipée que nous avons cuisinier tous ensemble (6 adultes avec 4 enfants) chaque jour. Avec les nombreuses et belles chambres chaqun/e trouvait une place tranquille pendant la journée et les enfants avaient assez de place pour jouer dans le jardin (ou plustôt dans le parc!!). En plus, il y a plusieurs caves superbes dans le village et aussi deux boulangeries et une petite épicerie pour acheter les choses nécessaires. C'était sûrment pas la dernière fois que nous étions dans ce Manoir - merci beaucoup à Sigrid pour l'acceuil très gentil et les offres de transporter nous et nos baggages! Nous recommandons ce Manoir sans aucun doute pour des vacances entre amis qui aiment bien cuisinier, manger, se reposer et boire un verre des vins de la région!

We were 9 and felt immediately at home. Reception was warm and efficiënt, house well kept and very clean, well stocked with all necessary basics. Spent a wonderful week exploring the area. Home cooking most of the time in a spacious and very well equipped kitchen. Enjoyed the garden (garden furniture galore!). House is very spacious so that even with 9 adults you could always find a quiet corner. Top marks.

Vraiment une très bonne adresse

Nos avons été enchantés par cette location. Le printemps ,n'étant pas encore là , les propriétaires avaient pris soin de faire allumer le chauffage la veille de notre arrivée; nous avons donc été accueillis douillettement. C'est idéal pour une grande famille , des amis. Nous étions 11 adultes et vraiment nous avions toutes nos aises. Il ne manque rien , le logement est très bien équipé aussi bien dans la cuisine que dans la globalité de l'habitation. La literie est de très bonne qualité, les chambres sont spacieuses , les salles de bain neuves et impeccables. Le tout est d'une grande propreté. La personne qui gère localement la location est très sympathique et prend tout à fait soin de notre confort. En tant qu'habitué de locations depuis de nombreuses années ; je ne me souviens pas d'avoir été autant satisfait de la qualité d'une telle prestation. j'y reviendrai certainement car Rully est presque à mi- chemin entre Paris et la Provence c'est très facile pour réunir ma famille. Encore merci et bravo
