We loved this condo. Location location location.The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. This is our 5th trip to North Coast Village and I think this was the perfect condo. If I had any complaints, it would be the mattress in the bedroom. One side was like sleeping in a ditch..but my side was great! Thank you for great communication and I hope we can stay again.

As always we had a wonderful time at North Coast Village. We really like D11 cuz it's close to the beach & on the grass. The bed & sofa are very comfortable. We will be back!

Great location, not well appointed

We loved this spot. The managers were quick to get back to us. But in terms of kitchen items and linens I found this property quite lacking. We had exactly enough bowls and knives for each person but no more. Same for beach and bath towels. Otherwise, the place is fabulous

Best location

We loved our stay at North Coast Village. The location was amazing being right on the sand and we loved having a grass area out back to play. It’s one of the best beaches to be at. The pool is also great. The hot tub was closed the whole time which we were not made aware of. The unit was great. Having the Murphy bed was a big plus. We love that everything was stocked with dishes, beach toys, beach chairs, boogie boards, pac-n-play, etc. It could have used more towels and we couldn’t find extra pillow cases for all the extra pillows they had. Our main complaint was how dirty the floor was. It smelled clean when we came in but our baby’s knees and hands were black after crawling on the floor, so it seems like they just did a quick wipe. It did get pretty warm in there, especially in the bedroom. We also didn’t appreciate the late booking charge when we booked over a month in advance. We also struggled communicating with the manager. All of their emails would be sent to our spam mail and they didn’t try communicating other ways until I reached out to them for check out process, signing a contract, etc. Thanks for the overall great stay!

Can't beat the location

You cannot beat this location! The property was accurately described and we felt was clean and well cared for. We had good communication with the property managers and check in/check out was very simple. The condo was well furnished for daily needs and a lot of options for the beach. The murphy bed is a much better option than a pull out sofa, and it was quite comfortable for our teenage son. There were a few complimentary snacks and bottles of water to welcome you, which is a nice touch. A few things that could use some attention: 3 of the 5 beach chairs were broken and unusable. Since there were 3 of us, that didn't work out so well. They do provide beach towels but they are small and thin, not something you could spread out and lay on at the beach. The broken chairs need to be replaced and some nicer beach towels would be a great addition and perhaps a beach blanket. The carpet in the bedroom has a lot of stains and could stand to be replaced. The sofa also has a lot of stains and should probably be replaced, or a deep cleaning at a minimum. There were several extra pillows to use for the beds, but no extra bedding. This too would have been nice to have. Overall these are minor issues and didn't disrupt our trip. We would definitely stay here again and hope to do so in the future.

Great little place.

Great location. We could sit on the patio and listen and see the ocean. The condo had everything we needed. The only one thing was the bedroom was a little warm. The portable a/c unit didn't work. With the fans it was ok but if it was hotter outside it would have been uncomfortable.

Great rental with beautiful ocean views!

We loved this rental! The pack and play and small high chair for our little one were perfect. The murphy bed was great and the king in the bedroom was extremely comfortable. The grounds were stunning and watching the ocean from the window every morning was amazing! My boys loved the grass outside and the finding the bunny that roams the grounds. The beach toys were also great! There was construction a few days we were there, but it never bothered us because we were already up when it started at 8. It's about a 15 minute walk to the pier and we saw a seal the day we went. We recommend this fantastic rental!

Great condo!

We really enjoyed this condo. It was clean and the kitchen was well equipped for any cooking. The beds were very comfortable. The welcoming goodie basket was a nice touch. The pool and hot tub were great and the grounds were well maintained. It was nice to have the boogie boards, my kids loved surfing the waves with them. The only thing that bothered me was the construction right out the patio window on the beach. Hopefully that won't last too much longer, it looks as if they are building a new public bathroom. All in all we had a great vacation and would stay here again and highly recommend this place to others.

Enjoyable apartment

We have stayed here the last 3 years. Every year for about a month. We will come back next year again for a month. Good location. Well maintained. Close to the beach. garden and pläce to sit in front of apmt. Heated swimming pool and Spa. All very convenient. That's why we come back every year and can recommend it to friends

Lovely!!

This was our third visit and it was a very enjoyable week. We really love the location of that particular condo. We know that Southern California is in a drought, but being from Oklahoma, the dry, clear, beautiful weather was wonderful! We would recommend this property without reservation. However, with the weather being that warm, the bedroom in our unbit was very uncomfortable. We opened the window and doors, used every fan available, and it was still very warm in the bedroom at night. Also, the bedroom is dark, without good lighting. It would be nice at the head of the bed. One final observation. The seaweed became heavy during our one week stay. How often is it cleaned?
