Que dire à part que Claire et sa famille ont été formidables. La communication avec eux a été très facile, et surtout ils ont pris grand soin de notre maison et nous l'ont laissé dans un parfait état. Nous les accueillerons avec plaisir de nouveau. What can I say except that Claire and her family were wonderful. Communication with them was very easy, and above all, they took great care of our house and left it in perfect condition. We will gladly welcome them again.

Sad about the weather

Nice, if slightly dated, property in a lovely location, by the river and close to some nice villages/towns. Unfortunately, northern France was affected by the same weather patterns as the UK, so mostly wet and cloudy was what we got. There are some good visits in the area, and the covered pool was a great boon under the circumstances.

Idyllic setting

Lovely property, quiet rural location, but only 3 mins walk to farm shop ( limited hours ) and 5 mins. drive to supermarket/cafes/ pattiseries etc etc to the beautiful village of Pacy sur Eure. Only downside to our stay was there where some limited facilities in one section of the house ( storm damage ) though no fault on the owners. This in fact did not really affect our stay. Highly recommend.

Great place, shame about the end

We had a great stay with a group of families and the house and separate accommodation were comfortable if a little dated. There were a few teething issues in the first 24 hours but Didier was available on the phone to resolve them almost immediately which was very useful. Unfortunately nearly a week after we vacated the property I was contacted by Didier complaining about the state of cleanliness and that we had not followed the leaving instructions. Accordingly he claimed the cleaning time had doubled and he did not want to bear the additional financial burden. Whilst we (the teenagers in the group) did unfortunately leave some towels on the floor I questioned whether this in fact resulted in extra cleaning (note the cleaning charge was already expensive). After exchanges I agreed to discuss with Didier but he did not call at the agreed time and I have heard nothing further since.

We had good communication with Paul and his group. Unfortunately, the general state in which the house was left was not at all satisfactory, not just towels left on the floor but, for example, a bed that had been moved from one room to another and an overall state of disarray. The fairly simple departure instructions had not been followed at all. I contacted Paul but I understood that the group was not at all inclined to contribute to the doubling of cleaning and tidying hours. We thought this was a pity, as the contact with Paul and his group was good.

An amazing house in a tranquil location and wonderful heated indoor / outdoor pool

Wow - we walked into the kitchen and through the conservatory was the River Eure - a truly beautiful sight.The house and annex were perfect for the 7 adults, 3 children and one baby - indeed there was a spare room with double bed so would easily accommodate a further two. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with a large oven and everything and more that you required for cooking. Outside was perfect - the river setting, outside seating areas,and tables to eat outdoors. Every room in the house was beautiful and homely. and again with everything you need. The pool was a great success for both adults and children and lovely and warm. The one day it was a little cooler and raining we kept the pool covered so no day went by without it being used. Didier and Jennifer met us on arrival and made us very welcome. They showed us around the house and explained everything very well before leaving us to start our holiday. Contact numbers were left should we need any help or advice and when we contacted Jennifer and Didier for some assistance during the week they responded very quickly. A 3km / 5 min drive took you to the nearest town with Supermarkets (three) and a host of other shops. Market day (Thursday) was well worth a visit for fresh fruit, vegetable and make sure to visit the fish stall which was outstanding. We would absolutely recommend a stay in this beautiful property. A definite 10 out of 10 from us. Thank you Jennifer and Didier for making our stay in your beautiful home absolutely amazing.

Nous avons passé un superbe week-end dans cette maison incroyable, pleine de charme et avec une vraie âme.Nous avons été accueillis par Corinne, qui a été absolument adorable du début à la fin. La maison était parfaite pour un week-end de canicule : un peu plus au frais, au calme, et surtout avec la piscine, qui a été un vrai bonheur.Nous espérons pouvoir revenir très bientôt !

Comme l'indique l'annonce, c'est une très grande maison, au calme au bord de l'Eure (magnifique véranda en bordure de la rivière). La maison était parfaite pour nos 3 générations (10 adultes et 2 enfants) avec tous les équipements nécessaires. Les grands ont profité du boulodrome et de la table de ping-pong, les enfants (et leurs parents) de la piscine chauffée couverte. Pacy-sur-Eure est à 5 minutes en voiture, avec tous les commerces. Pour les Parisiens, la Gare de Bueil à 8 minutes permet d'être à Saint-Lazarre en à peine plus d'une heure. En synthèse, on recommande cette location sans aucune hésitation. Et merci à Jennifer pour son accueil chaleureux et la présentation détaillée du fonctionnement de la maison.

Geweldige locatie. Mooie compleet een authentieke woning. Plus zwembad als bonus. prachtige omgeving

Geweldig met kinderen en kleinkinderen. Totaal elf personen, en voldoende ruimte. De kamers zijn heel mooi en compleet. Heerlijk zwembad. Vissen in de rivier gelegen aan de tuin. Vissen van veertig centimeter groot. Mooie uitvalsbasis naar Normandië, Omaha Beach, of Parijs. En een oase van rust.

A breath of fresh air!

Our stay was just what we were looking for, a place to relax and rest. The location was perfect for day trips to Paris, Giverny and the Normandy coast. Isabelle was waiting for us when we first arrived and immediately she made us feel at home. It was great to learn about the history of this beautiful family residence. Everything was just as we expected. The photos on Vrbo accurately reflect this country house. We had everything we needed including not just one but two teapots! If we had any questions during our stay, Isabelle was always responded to our emails in a timely manner. We do hope to return again some day. Thank you Didier and Isabelle for an incredible ‘séjour’. Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est parfaitement équipée et vraiment très agréable. Nous avons aimé la qualité des installations (notamment la literie) et l’espace disponible dans la maison. La véranda donnant sur l’Eure est une pièce magique ! Nous recommandons chaleureusement!

Nous avons vraiment apprécié Eva et ses amis. La communication a été très facile. Ils sont très sympathiques et ont laissé la maison dans un état impeccable et on été très respectueux des lieux. Nous ne pouvons que les recommander et les recevrons de nouveau chez nous avec grand plaisir.

Lovely family home for a relaxed holiday

We had a great holiday in this cozy, but beautiful family house. Didier and Jennifer received us very hospitably and were easily accessible for questions during our stay. We enjoyed the garden, the view on the river from the conservatory/verandy, cooking family meals in the well-equipped kitchen and the spacious, nicely decorated rooms. There was enough space in the house or in the garden for everyone. Our children aged 5 and 3 could play safely in the garden and heated pool. In addition, there are many nice trips in the area, we visited Mantes-la-Jolie, Vernon and Roche la Guyon. We still fondly remember our stay and hope to come back one day.
