We are renting a new family chalet (construction 2017), with a capacity of 12 people. Located in Les Contamines MONTJOIE, 2 km from the ski lifts and the village center. Shuttle access (included in ski pass) at 100m.

6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms.

L'hôte a été très accueillant et prévenant. On a pu échanger en amont et bien préparer nos vacances au ski. Le chalet est idéal pour les vacances au ski : très bien agencé avec le garage dédié pour les affaires de ski, un sèche chaussure, etc... Par ailleurs les chalet est situé proche des stations. Enfin, le chalet est chaleureux, très bien pensé et agencé. Nous étions 10 et 1 enfant en bas-ages. Nous nous sommes senti à l'aise, la cuisine est parfaitement équipée, les chambres sont spacieuses, bref ce fut parfait.

Très beau chalet, agréable à vivre à 12

Le chalet est très agréable, spacieux et confortable (un petit bémol pour la TV qui pourrait quand même être un peu plus moderne / grande pou un tel chalet !).Nous avons profité de la station, allant skier tous les jours, d'autant que la neige était au rendez-vous.La seule difficulté était les déplacements : le chalet est trop loin des remontés pour pouvoir s'y rendre à pieds en tenue de ski. Il faut donc soit y aller en voiture (ce que nous voulions éviter d'autant qu'il avait beaucoup neigé) soit prendre les navettes. Le chalet est malheureusement situé sur une route assez mal desservie avec une navette toutes les heures environ et pas toujours aux horaires adaptés aux cours de skis des enfants...

Maison idéale pour une grande famille, avec magnifique vue

Excellent séjour pour notre famille de 12 personnes, maison très bien agencée, en trois niveaux, où tout est conçu pour le confort de tous, literie de très bonne qualité, salle d'eau et de bains en quantité suffisante, équipement de cuisine très complet, jeu et jouets pour les enfants, et même plusieurs luges mises à disposition...Et ce qui nous enchantait chaque matin, une vue magnifique.... La présence du soleil nous a permis de jouir de la grande terrasse en bois. La buanderie du sous sol permet de sécher les chaussures de ski. L'emplacement est intéressant aussi, à 15 min à pieds du centre ville (mais par un raidillon pas toujours praticable) et une navette à quelques mètres de la maison nous conduit aux pieds des pistes. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir

Vacances à la fraîche

Venus pour faire des balades à raquettes à neige, nous avons chaussé les crampons seul par manque de neige. Fond de vallée avec d'authentique fermes de montagne, panorama magnifique. Majestueux domaine skiable en altitude.

Le chalet est bien placé dans la station. L'accès aux remontées est aisé. Les enfants profitent aussi d'un bel espace de jeu (luge tire-fesse) proche du chalet. La terrasse très ensoleillée est agréable. A l'intérieur, l'équipement est parfait et les jeunes enfants profitent de nombreux jouets. Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine avec le soleil et nous reviendrons certainement.

Well-equipped and cosy chalet in a great location

This a perfect gem of a chalet. Tastefully decorated, well-equipped and with plenty of space to relax - even for a group of nine adults. The village and the ski lifts are short drive away and there is also a convenient bus route. For non-skiers there are plenty of options for walking /snow-shoeing (especially in the direction of Notre Dame de La Gorge). If you wish to venture further afield (either to ski or just to explore) St Gervais-les-Bains and Chamonix are not too far away. We were fortunate to have had beautiful weather all week so all options were open to us. We stayed in the chalet over New Year but I imagine that this is also a great place to be in summer. The owners were very helpful and responsive throughout the reservation and booking process. Their local property manager Aline met us when we arrived, ensured a warm welcome and was available to answer questions by phone /SMS throughout our stay. Highly recommended!
