About this property
Secluded Lakefront Retreat on 7 acres on Lake Quinault
A very private home on Lake Quinault, the south entrance to the Olympic Peninsula National Park and just a few miles away from the famous Lake Quinault lodge and rainforest.
This home is perfect for a family retreat in the woods without sacrificing comforts of home. An open floor plan on the main floor with a complete guest suite and kids bunk room downstairs. Open loft master suite allows for lake views and a true cabin feel. Decks surround the house; enjoy the outdoors with a glass of wine overlooking the lake.
Amazing fishing right from the beach or go for a sunset paddle. Home has two double kayaks [available from May to September*] and is outfitted with all kinds of games for family fun (giant jenga, puzzles). Kitchen has everything you would need to cook your favorite family recipes or to grill up the trout you catch. Brand new kitchen appliances (fridge, stove/oven, dishwasher) just installed.
Just a mile into the small town of Amanda Park which sports a mercantile store (get all your groceries and your fishing license here), an internet cafe and a great little pizza joint/pool hall.
No better place to get away from it all and create amazing family memories.
There are two double kayaks and two kids sit on top kayaks available for guest use during the Spring and Summer*. There is also a good selection of life vests from kid size to adult (located in the storage bench in the breezeway).
* Due to rising level of the lake during the Fall and Winter months, it is not safe to kayak in Lake Quinault. Kayaks and paddleboard are available from May to September.
If you wish to bring your own water craft: Note that any boat, kayak or paddle board must be inspected before it can be used in the Lake Quinault. ***CURRENTLY ALL LAKE QUINAULT PERMIT/INSPECTION OFFICES ARE CLOSED***

About the host
Hosted by Kelly Kennedy
We are a family of 5 that loves to travel and has stayed at over 50 vrbo properties all over the world. So when we bought a lake house in the Olympic Peninsula rainforest we knew we had to share it with other families.
Why they chose this property
We love lakes! And Lake Quinault is beyond beautiful and peaceful. The house is on 7 acres and you may stay for a week and not see another soul on this part of the lake. Easy access to the Washington coast and great rainforest hikes.
