Overall stay was great however the A/C in living room wasn’t cooling of that area very well. It stayed quite hot had to go to the bedrooms to cool off.

Fourth of July fun

Really enjoyed our stay. Property was clean and close to everything. Only issue was the living area a/c struggled at times to keep cool during Texas heat but everything else was great. Would definitely stay again.

Labor Day Weekend Getaway!

This place is great! It was clean and well-taken care of. The little yard was great for our Pekingese. The house is in a convenient location- it’s close to everything. We loved this cozy little place and will definitely stay again.

Great little place for the price.

Overall, it was a good place. The only suggestion is a bigger window units. They barely kept up and we haven't even reached peak Texas weather.

Great Getaway

It was an excellent weekend. Great location, half way between just about everything Galveston has to offer. Owner is very, very pet accomidating. Side yard was very secure.

While I never post any negative reviews I only feel it’s right to share this with other people who may stay here for as we did not get the same heads up. The house is not located in the safest of areas. While we stayed there the next door neighbor made a very scary comment to us our first night; while having his 4-5 German shepherds outside with him he said “yeah I have these dogs to let me know when people are walking by because we need that warning around here.” The parking is on the street and absolutely horrid trying to get right in front of the house with the two neighbors parking and all their cars as well. The front door does not have a camera so if something happens to your vehicle you’re screwed. The front door also has a crack all the way through where light comes in almost as if someone has tried to kick through the door. Lastly, in the back bedroom there are vines growing through the actual window into the house allowing bugs to accumulate around that area. The house only has 3 window units so it does get pretty musky and hot during the day. While this was a last minute look for and of course we don’t have the most money we still have a child and dogs that travel with us (two being ESA animals), these things really made us worry about the safety of everyone while staying.

The home offers street parking, as noted in the listing, but I understand that parking may have been difficult due to high season. We will look into the front door issue, vines in the window, and ACs to make sure they are properly addressed. We appreciate you for sharing your feedback.

Great little hideaway

We enjoyed our little mini vacation before going our cruise. This house was perfect for our family of 5 to hang around enjoying family time. We had enough room for all of us to sleep. The best part was even tho it’s tiny one the outside, there is plenty of space and we didn’t feel like we were stepping on one another. The next time we will definitely stay here.
