The house was really cute on the inside and close to everything. However, for the price, the beds were not comfortable and old and the door to the garage area doesn’t function properly. Also found a sewing needle poking me in the bed and 2 roaches. Would not sleep there again because of that. I wish I could leave a better review because everything else was nice.

The place was fine- no central A/C, only window units that only cooled the two bedrooms. The rest of the house was hot. Encountered a few roaches inside. Clean bedroom’s.

We regret that these were not utilized during your stay. However, they are in each area of the home and are in proper working order. We do have the home regularly serviced by pest control. Overall the house was clean and kitchen was well supplied. The couch was extremely uncomfortable but the beds were okay. Communication with host was convenient. Neighborhood was very sketchy.

Arrived at the property to see that it was a lot older than what it looks like in the photos. While the kitchen is a bit modern, the rest of the property feels very old from the walls, molding, doors, windows, rooms and overall feel. The location isn’t great either as the neighborhood felt unsettling, the walk to the beach consists of crossing a major street with no sidewalks so yes, technically walking to the beach. Overall disappointed with this stay.

An oasis near the beach

We were so comfortable at this cute house full of interesting antiques and modern conveniences, and our little dog too! Great location, friendly neighbors, and a fully equipped kitchen. We got the rest we were seeking!

Memorial Day getaway

Our family really enjoyed this house and its amenities, especially the proximity to the strand. The parking passes for the beach and street made things very convenient. We loved the garage with its lights and games for the kids. All in all a very cozy and accommodating stay. Would stay again and recommend to families looking for a cozy place near the beach.

Nice Spot for a Quick Getaway

Our family of four stayed in this charming cottage for five days. The kitchen was well provisioned, AC cold, single bathroom roomy enough for everyone’s stuff, and the hangout space below was an especially huge hit with the kids. Access to Porretto Beach was great, but only open on the weekend during our stay. Overall a great little house for a beach escape.

Exactly as described

This house was so cute! I loved the updated features inside and my son loved the “secret” game room downstairs. The only downside was the bed in the primary room and the sofa sleeper were both pretty uncomfortable and very loud if you move around in them. Overall, we were very happy with the property and how quickly the owners responded to our communication.
