Dad's Retreat/3 BR Island Home with Boat Docking

Settle into island life at Dad’s Retreat, a welcoming three-bedroom, two-bath Ocracoke cottage with room for up to seven guests. A screened porch, covered front porch, and private back deck offer plenty of places to enjoy morning coffee, share a meal, or unwind after a day at the beach.

As part of the Ocracoke Harbor Inn Cottages, your stay includes access to the Inn’s waterfront facilities on Silver Lake Harbor and complimentary docking at the Inn for one boat under 35 feet, with advance notice at the time of booking. Golf carts and bicycles are also available for rent at the Inn, making it easy to explore the village.

Inside, comfortable living and dining spaces provide room for family and friends to gather. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, while a washer and dryer add convenience during longer stays. Central air conditioning and heat keep the cottage comfortable throughout your visit.

The primary bedroom features a king bed and a twin daybed. A second bedroom offers a queen bed, and the third has two twin beds—flexible sleeping arrangements for families and friends. Two full bathrooms serve the home, and bed linens and bath towels are provided.

Enjoy the outdoors from your choice of three inviting spaces. Relax in the shade of the covered front porch, spend a quiet afternoon on the screened porch, or gather on the private back deck. An outdoor shower makes it easy to rinse off after the beach, and a gas grill is ready for relaxed dinners at home.

The Ocracoke Lighthouse and Springer’s Point Preserve are within walking distance, with village shops, restaurants, and Silver Lake Harbor nearby. Spend your days exploring, boating, or enjoying Ocracoke’s beaches, then return to the comfort of your own island retreat.

Onsite parking is available, but there is no additional parking for utility trailers. Guests bringing a boat should contact us before booking to discuss trailer parking. Dad’s Retreat is a nonsmoking cottage, and pets are not permitted.
