Kitchen & Bath Supplies - Starter Pack
The home includes a starter pack of kitchen and bath supplies to get you through the first day. If you need additional supplies, please plan on brining your own or to pick some up at the store. The following items are included in the starter pack: one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one bar of hand soap per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, one kitchen trash bag, one package of dishwasher soap, one small container of dish soap, and one package of laundry detergent.

No Smoking of any kind is allowing at this property, inside or outside.

Stay Salty, OBA is located in a quiet, family friendly area in Orange Beach, Alabama. The entire city of Orange Beach has a firm noise ordinance after 9pm on weekdays and 10pm on weekends. The Orange Beach police do patrol the area and we have full time neighbors that will notify us of any major disturbances. We want you to enjoy your vacation but also ask that you be respectful of other neighbors.

Per our HOA rules limiting rentals to one primary family, at least 50% of all guests must be related to the primary tenant (grandparents, parents, children, siblings, cousins, etc). Please contact host if you have questions on this.

Rental agreement must be signed before reservation is confirmed and valid
Renter must be 25 years of age or older and agrees to occupying the property every night of the reservation. We are unable to allow exceptions to this rule.

Government ID (front and back) must be submitted to owner. (Text or email)

Cameras are located on the outside of the property observing: Front Door, Driveway, Backdoor, and east side of home monitoring the sewer grinder pump alert light.

Will consider Sun - Sun, Sat - Sat, Sun - Sat rentals May 30th thru Aug 7th, 6 night min.

I can honestly say that I enjoyed my stay at this BnB. It was 5 minutes away from Romar beach which was a lot quieter, or less full of tourist. Each room had full bathrooms which made it a breeze for everyone to get ready in the mornings.

This was a great house with great spaces. It was conveniently located and the perfect place for our two families to stay. It had great access to hiking and biking trails and a short distance to the beach. We will be back.

Exceptionally clean, plenty of room for our group of 9 to eat together, bathroom with each bedroom made the difference with our large group. The close proximity (two houses down) to State Park bike trails and pool (across the street) was invaluable for us. Recommend beach wagon for large group going to the private beach. Convenience of groceries and restaurants nearby was a plus. Highly recommend this house especially for large groups with children. Owner was attentive, informative and quick to respond.

The house and community made for a wonderful vacation stay for our family! Having a bathroom for each bedroom makes all the difference and was a big plus. The home is well appointed and very cozy. Great family celebration on Orange Beach

A lovely stay in this spacious, well equipped, just a described home for our multi-generational spring break/birthday celebration. Everything worked well, no issues with anything. Every room had its own bathroom plus an extra on the main level. Loved the easy access to the bike/walking trails throughout the back country and connecting around Shelby Lake and easy access to the amazing white sand beaches. Easy access to tons of restaurants . Try Ruby Slipper for the best brunch! Would definitely consider staying here again!

Orange Beach Family Vacay

We loved every minute in Orange Beach! The house is exactly as pictured. It was perfect for us and big enough so everyone had their own space. It is in a lovely neighborhood and the pool is right across the street. John, the host, was very helpful and answered any questions quickly. Would definitely rent this house again. Only drawback is it is a 12-15 minute walk to the beach. We rented a golf cart to go back and forth to the beach. It was an unexpected expense but quite fun to drive.

Girls beach trip May 2020

Our stay at Stay Salty was great. The house was very nice and looked exactly like pictures on internet. The beds were very comfy. The kitchen had everything with a wonderful pantry to put overflow. All the new convenient technology was available with Alexis and nice TV in each room. The sofa was not real comfortable and with 10 adults not a place for everyone. The round dining table was perfect for 10 pulling the poufs over for extra seating. The side porch was very nice to sit. The owners did a great job maximizing use and space with the house. It’s a great house for multiple families however parking is limited. I would highly recommend the Stay Salty house 🏖🏖

The home is lovely, and well located near the beach, restaurants/shopping and Gulf Shores State Park. The house is clean and updated, easily accommodating our large family, with each bedroom having its own bathroom. We enjoyed having dinners together (the kitchen is well equipped), with the gas grill being an added benefit. We would definitely return.

Amazing Family Trip

My husband and I stayed here with 4 other family members and had the most amazing time. The neighborhood is very nice and the neighbors are so friendly! The house is new and clean, and the owners have a lot of great little touches throughout the house. We were right across the street from the neighborhood pool and we were there by ourselves most times! We loved the location as it's close to attractions/restaurants but not as busy/crowded as other areas. We loved exploring all the nature trails that are right behind the house. The private strip of beach is a bit narrow so it seemed a bit crowded to me, but I'm a country girl who's used to space plus it was Memorial Day weekend, so take that with a grain of salt! One thing I wasn't prepared for is that the owner will reach out and ask you to sign legal documents outside of the app and request information like the names/ages/relationship of those staying in the house and everyone's vehicle information like make/model/color/license plate. It makes sense because it drives down a lot of problems but it just made me a little nervous at first. All in all, we truly loved this trip and would go back in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed our week long stay at this lovely home. The house was nicely stocked with just what we needed. Each bedroom had a bathroom in the room, which was perfect for our large group. John and Rachel live in a small community in south-central Wisconsin with their four boys, ranging in ages from 10 to 6 years. Both active members of the community, volunteering as local Cubmaster, hockey coach, baseball and t-ball coach and of course, taxi to/from soccer, hockey, baseball, basketball, piano, wrestling, football, cross-country, swimming and scouting activities. One of our favorite family activities is attending Milwaukee Brewers games. We love it SO much, we have visited 14 of the 30 MLB ballparks and plan to visit all 30 before the oldest boys turn 18!
We wouldn’t trade our busy lives in Wisconsin for anything, and we are so thankful to have found the relaxing, family-friendly community of Orange Beach, we now happily call our home away from home.

Why they chose this property

Our family's first trip to Orange Beach, AL was in the spring of 2017. We immediately fell in love with the location. The beautiful beaches, miles of scenic bike trails, and countless outdoor activities. We returned to the area the following spring, this time staying in Destin, FL. Destin was beautiful, yet not quite as unique and relaxing as Orange Beach. In early 2019 we returned to Orange Beach, renting a home in the Parks Edge community. This brand new community within steps of direct access to the Gulf State Park bike trails, a beautiful community pool, and easy private beach access became home to our best family vacation, ever! Without a doubt, we knew this was the perfect location for our second home. In the spring of 2019, we secured our dream vacation home on the Gulf Coast in Orange Beach, AL.

This brand new 5 bedroom/5.5 bathroom home in the Parks Edge Community was completed in November of 2019. Our family cannot wait to spend the holidays and spring break in our new vacation home. Keeping busy with our young 4 boys back home in Wisconsin, we knew this home would provide time for the family to recharge. We'd love to share our home with you to enjoy this beautiful community and all it has to offer. Welcome to "Stay Salty OBA" a place for you to enjoy the fresh gulf air, experience the wild life and beautiful natural scenery at our back door in the Gulf State Park, take a dip in the pool or relax on the beach. You may arrive a bit 'salty' from all the hustle and bustle of your everyday life but our hope is that during your stay, the only salt left should be the salt left between your toes after a long walk on the beach.
