The experience was great from start to finish. The owner was very responsive to all questions. The house itself was very cool. I'm not sure the best way to describe it so I will just say it was really fun. Having a pool/ping pong table kept us occupied for the time we were in the house. I highly recommend a stay here.

Fantastic stay!

We loved the decor, the art work and the spacious rooms. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable.

Group Ski Trip

Amazing house to stay in with a group! Very roomy, awesome decor, beautiful bathrooms and a well stocked kitchen. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in Rossland!

Came to Rossland with a group of ladies to do some hiking. Great place to hike and Phil's place was amazing. Had all the amenities we would need. The house is so cool and like it says Eclectic. Loved all the art as well. Each room had it's own personality!

Easter gathering in Rossland

Terrific open spaces that have unique designs and great art work through out. One could spend a whole day just going room to room looking at the art. Be sure to spend time in the billiard and games room, or yoga studio, ... lots of great rooms and comfortable for large families / groups

Great Fun

We enjoyed the Eclectic Rossland House so much we wanted to stay an extra night. The house is one of a kind with it's art collection, furnishings and decor. It is also well equipped, clean and comfortable. Whether you have a small or large group you can't go wrong with this home!

Large well appointed accommodation

We stayed in this property for a week in mid January 2020. The property very comfortably fit two families,with two ensuited upstairs bedrooms a real bonus, has a great kitchen, with a pool table and ping pong table thrown in for those who have the energy after a days skiing! Phil, the owner, was also very helpful and easy to commuciate with for any queries we had.

We will be back

Such a funky house. Phil is such a nice guy. This was the most well stalked house we have stayed in so far. Super clean. It was so large and spread out that we lost the kids a few times. We will definitely go back.

A magical get-away

A magical family get-away that will forever be one of our most treasured memories. The house was like a wonderful hop down a rabbit hole...so many antiques and colours and art to marvel at. The kids were busy with the ping pong table, the pool table and the board games. There is a lot of love put into this house. We happened to visit Rossland during a beautiful winter week with lots of falling snow. The people of the town and the ski resort were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We spent time downhill skiing, x-c skiing and snow shoeing and all activities were close by and easy to access. We visited the lovely bakery, Hoopers, at the recommendation of our hosts and were not disappointed! Yummy baguettes! Last, but definitely not least, our host was generous and friendly with loads of advice and was quick to reply to any of our questions. We have had the good fortune to travel and come into contact with many hosts and Phil definitely makes his visitors feel welcome, we are very grateful for his hospitality. We look forward to visiting again someday!

Great House for Family Ski Trip

Our stay in Rossland, BC was a real pleasure and it included several welcomed surprises:Surprise #1--Red Mountain is a quick and easy 5min drive from the VRBO rental.Surprise #2--Guests at the VRBO house have access to a locker at Red Mountain, Locker access meant that we could park our vehicle and walk to the lodge with our snow boots (rather than our ski boots) and meant that we could store overnight our skis, boards and poles.Surprise #3--Night Skiing at BlackJack X-Country club. Lights are on until 9pm at this gem of a x-country facility. Before our arrival, Phil rented for us x-country gear at the Blackjack Kiosk and had it waiting at the house. This was incredibly kind and allowed us to ski the night of our arrival....and x-country skiing under the lights was fantastic!Surprise #4-- the house was very generously provisioned! The kitchen included all the pans and utensils we needed to feel at home. The hot showers and baths were luxurious--as were the towels and robes! The gas fireplaces provided very welcomed heat and comfort after a great day of skiing.Surprise #5--the grocery store in Rossland is amazing and offers everything a family could want!I highly recommend this rental.

Wonderful Stay

Phil thought of everything a guest could possibly need. Also love that whatever food is left be donated to a local food bank. We’ve stayed at lots of different VRBOs and this one by far is our favourite. Walking distance to town, great little sledding hill at the end of the street and a short drive to the mountain.

A wonderful stay in Rossland

I visited Rossland with a group of 8 fun loving ski/board enthusiasts. Phils wonderful house ticked all the boxes and then some. The house is massive and spread over five floors. The collection of art work and warm colours were fabulous, one could spend hours wandering the halls and bedrooms. The house was spotless and maintained to the highest order. Great location close to town yet quiet. Phil was very attentive, helpful and super chill. We were impressed by all aspects of the house and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We will be back!

Great Host communications

We were very much looking forward to enjoying out stay however due to a family emergency we had to cancel out stay at the last meeting. Host was ready for us and communications up to check-in time were excellent
