Bellissimo Blanco River Cottage, sul fiume. <br>Perfetto per tutte le età e anche i cuccioli

Rio Casita (Little River House) si trova nel mezzo di un acro di terreno splendidamente boscoso sull'incontaminato fiume Blanco. Il fiume limpido, fresco e alimentato a molla è l'ideale per rilassarsi, rilassarsi e godersi la natura. Percorri le brevi tre miglia lungo River Road che fiancheggia il Blanco fino a Wimberley, e fai shopping in alcuni dei negozi più singolari che vedrai ovunque.

Questo è un posto molto romantico con molta privacy. I bambini lo adoreranno anche. Cammina lungo la facile collina in pendenza dal portico posteriore e direttamente nel fiume. Ottimo nuoto e guadare e un posto superiore per godersi una bevanda ghiacciata per adulti. È tutto qui, vieni a vedere!

Dopo esserti divertito al sole e al fiume, torna a casa per goderti tutte le dotazioni: griglia all'aperto, ottimo backporch per uscire, cucina da buongustai - tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno, tranne il cibo. Quando il sole tramonta, appaiono le mosche del fuoco. È magico sdraiarsi sull'amaca e vederli turbinare intorno a te.

Beautiful house tucked away in the woods on the Blanco River. The house was very cozy and quiet. We observed lots of deer and even had an 8-pt buck bed down right beside my truck! The beds were very comfortable and the towels were plush and soft. Remote feeling but only 3 miles from downtown Wimberley. The back porch is very inviting with lots of chairs and 3 different sitting areas. Our family only stayed two Nights, but wish we would’ve had more time.

The host was very quick to respond when I contacted her. The cable box for one of the televisions needed to be replaced and the host took care of this within a few hours.

Property very clean and comfy. The river is right behind the property and so easy to access. We were able to wade barefoot in the river. The property is close to shops and restaurants but feels like it's out in the country. We went to Market Days which is so fun! Connie, the host, was always so quick to respond to any message I sent. Excellent host & excellent property for peace & quiet and beautiful nature!! We will definitely be back! One of our favorite places! Be sure to check out JPs Wimberley BBQ just up the road from the property!! It was SO great and very generous portions! Thanks Connie for providing such a wonderful place!

This house is very special. It is right on the Blanco river, so the kids could walk back and forth from the house easily. The house was clean, and had everything we needed. I highly recommended staying at this property.

This place is amazing. It’s so peaceful and relaxing to just sit outside and enjoy nature along the river. It’s far enough out of town to give you privacy, but close enough to enjoy the food and shops on the square with just a short drive.

The house was cozy and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to be out in the country with all the nature and wildlife at our doorstep. Also appreciated the ability to walk down to the river and hang out! I would recommend more comfortable seating in the living room and a better stocked kitchen. We spent some of our days entirely at the house and did not feel like there was adequate cookware to make dinner. Otherwise, had a wonderful time staying and exploring Wimberley!

Anniversary getaway

The home is conveniently located near town but far enough away for peace and quiet. The house is well maintained and equipped. The fireflies at night are beautiful. We were able to see abundant wildlife from deer to wild turkey. The river is a bit low due to drought but was still very nice and relaxing. JP's barbecue is close and has great food.

Peaceful place to Recharge

The property is very peaceful, quiet and quaint. Good place to disconnect and recharge. Not far from town. The river was a bit dry but was still nice to hear the stream and watch the deers nearby.

2nd stay at this property. Easy river access, perfect for the dogs. Water level was low but that’s Mother Nature and the dogs didn’t mind. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing.

A peaceful, private getaway

We had a wonderful three-night stay here, and it was so nice to be able to bring our (large) dog with us! All of us enjoyed wading in the river (it was pretty low at the time but still fun), we saw the moon rise over the hill, we enjoyed watching many birds in the backyard, and we just generally enjoyed being together, reading and doing puzzles, and often just taking in the peace and quiet of the property. The house is much larger and brighter than pictures suggest. If this property added a hot tub, it would be the cherry on top, but it's wonderful either way. We hope to return soon!

My husband and I fell in love with Wimberley. When we found Rio Casita, we just had to purchase it. We love being there and use it as a family get away. We love the quietness, the wild life and the easy pace that this place offers. We are very happy that we can share all of that with you.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

We love being on the water and the Blanco is just right for us and our dogs. Our golden retriever thinks he is in Heaven when he is there.

Relax, relax, relax...pull a chair out into the middle of the river; read; walk; listen to nature or just sit on the back porch. A unique place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. However, if you demand a little more activity in your life, the Village of Wimberley is just 2 miles down the road.
