La Mansarda is a cozy apartment in Alba, the capital of the become Langhe
recently UNESCO World Heritage Site together with Roero and Monferrato.
The apartment is on the third floor with a lift to the second floor. It consists of the living room (8 seats), lounge, equipped kitchenette, 3 bedrooms for 6 adults + a single bed in the 90 x 200 living room, (possibility of adding a free cot for children up to 3 years), 2 bathrooms (one with shower box- one with whirlpool tub), laundry room (washing machine, ironing board and iron), small terrace overlooking the rooftops and hills of Alba. Reserved parking space in private courtyard.
The main advantage of the apartment is certainly the location; in fact it is located in the historic center (150 meters from the main street Via V. Emanuele) with the possibility to park the car comfortably in the courtyard for the duration of the stay.
Walking through the streets you can discover restaurants, taverns, wine bars as well as museums churches.
If, on the other hand, you decide to visit the surroundings, you can admire the enchanting landscapes that the Langa offers with its hills cultivated with vineyards where excellent and fine wines are obtained which you can taste in the wine cellars in the many restaurants.
Possibility to take walks through 8 itineraries in the heart of the Langhe with expert guide, excursions suitable for everyone, without technical difficulties. Reservation is required, participation fees are € 7 for adults, € 3 for children from 10 to 16 years, free for children.

Perfect base for exploring alba

A great spot for our stay alba- very central and spacious. It had everything we needed and more- we can’t wait to return.

Amazing!

My husband and I stayed in this amazing flat in central Alba with our 3 children for 3 days. It was perfect. Super clean and great decor, linens, towels, and all the kitchen necessities. Cristina is a wonderful host and we will definitely return. I highly recommend this apartment for holiday or business.

Heart of Alba

Great spot right in the heart of Alba. If you’re out and about doing the wine thing during the day, you’ve got the perfect spot to park the car and walk to dinner and shopping at night. Only thing lacking is a smart tv to help out a non-Italian speaker w/ a Firestick, but other than that, not much to complain about.

La Mansarda

As advertised on the website. The only downside is the slanted ceiling (which the pictures on the website clearly reveal, some were not misled). If you are tall, you will need to watch your head in one end of the apartment, but this was not too difficult. Cristina was very helpful and the location and condition of the apartment were excellent.

A comfortable apartment in an excellent location

La Mansarda is a very comfortable apartment ideally located on the edge of the historic centre. An easily accessible and secure parking spot is a bonus. Cristina was a responsive host and very gracious about our very late arrival because of a 4 hour delay due to bad weather in the alps. The apartment is spacious and comfortably furnished, the kitchenette is very well equipped and the two bedroom two bathroom layout works well. Tall people could have problems with the sloping ceilings, but the top floor location is great, as is a lift for two thirds of the distance! We would happily stay here again if we returned to Alba

Perfect to explore Piedmont

1. Christina (property manager) made everything so easy, check-in to check-out and was always quick to answer any questions. 2. The apartment is huge for European standards, tons of living space and space in the bedrooms. The air conditioning was a life saver as temps during our stay topped 100 degrees. The secure & reserved parking was large enough for my XC90 and easy to navigate. 3. Great location in Alba, so many options for dinner are within an easy walk. Also, the apartment is centrally located to easily access Barolo or Barbaresco wine regions. Will stay there again on my next visit to the region.

A spacious and well equipped apartment in the heart of Alba

This apartment has all you need for having a good experience in Alba – even when it is 34 degrees outside it is cool because of an efficient air con. It is situated in the old part of Alba close to a big selection of restaurants and shop. The landlord Cristina is very kind and service minded – she even welcomed us with a bottle of wine and water and juice in the fridge.

Ideal very central location & parking made our stay hassle free during the busy Alba White Truffle festival. The apartment is spacious & has everything you need. Very accommodating host who has thoughtfully furnished a wonderful apartment in scenic Alba.

Clean, modern, all conviences, including parking. View of medieval towers, close proximity to resturants and shopping. Host was very clear and accurate in our communications. Comfortable beds, lovely linens, goodies for first breakfast - even vino!

We had a lovely stay in Christina's apartment. The apartment is luxurious, very clean and spacious. It is situated in a quiet street right in the centre of the lively town of Alba. Christina is very kind and helpful. Communication with her went very smooth. She recommended some excellent restaurants. We would certainly recommend this apartment.
