Relaxing vacation!

We had an amazing time in Doucier. It's a wonderfully tranquil area, perfect for a peaceful and rejuvenating vacation. The property was exactly as described; upon our arrival, everything was clean and just like in the pictures. The porch is a real plus, especially during the summer! On a less positive note, the beds are not the most comfortable, and if you plan on cooking, bring your kitchen utensils as there is only the bare minimum provided, which was a bit challenging for us as we love to cook.

The process was fast and easy, this is our second time staying at the chalet at it was again, fantastic. We loved this chalet and would recommend this to anyone. We mostly had done a driving holiday exploring Switzerland and parts of France. Very close to the Swiss border and is a cheaper alternative than booking a chalet in Switzerland. We went to Chamonix and Val Thorens using rental cars from Germany. They are 3 hours away but if you enjoy driving it's a pleasure. Thanks again to Jérémy for a great stay

Un chalet avec un salon cuisine, deux grandes chambres et une belle terrasse en bois bien agrĂ©ables Ă  vivre. Un emplacement bien choisi pour beaucoup d’activitĂ©s et de visites en tout genre. Au calme, Ă  proximitĂ© d’un trĂšs joli lac un peu trop loin pour y accĂ©der Ă  pieds et d’accĂšs payant (8 euros par passage). Un petit village avec des commerces Ă  proximitĂ©. Un restaurant tout Ă  fait correct avec des extĂ©rieurs agrĂ©ables. D’autres logements Ă  proximitĂ© qui laissent peu de recul et ne donnent aucune vue dĂ©gagĂ©e.Un niveau d’équipement un peu lĂ©ger. Un principe de supplĂ©ment pour draps ou autres toujours surprenant pour des prix de location de ce niveau et qui justifierait l’absence de tapis de bain ou de simples torchons.

Le logement loué ne correspondait pas totalement au descriptif mentionné dans l'annonce et le contrat : pas de baignoire alors qu'elle figure dans le contrat. Le WI-FI ne fonctionnait pas (simple repeteur d'une box se trouvant dans un autre chalet. C'était un équipement essentiel pour nous.Il a fallu de nombreuses demandes pour que le propriétaire s'occupe réellement du problÚme et nous avons eu le WI-FI la veille de notre départ. Devant ce désagrément nous avons obtenu une remise par le propriétaire.

Un joli gĂźte

Le Nid de Chalain est un joli gite, au calme et bien Ă©quipĂ©. Les consignes reçues pour l'entrĂ©e dans le gĂźte Ă©taient prĂ©cises et nous n'avons eu aucun pb.Nous regrettons cependant la wifi dĂ©plorable ( dommage pour ceux qui veulent tĂ©lĂ©travailler ou rĂ©viser pour des exams ce qui Ă©taient notre cas).Nous aurions aimĂ© avoir un livret d'accueil pour le fonctionnement du poĂȘle (plutĂŽt que d'avoir tout le manuel Ă  consulter), des prĂ©cisions sur les poubelles ( plutĂŽt que d'envoyer des sms), idem pour l'Ă©lectromĂ©nager (particuliĂšrement le sĂšche -linge qui refusait de se mettre en route parce que le filtre Ă©tait obstruĂ© et la rĂ©serve pleine).C'est la premiĂšre fois que nous allons dans un gĂźte de cette gamme et qu'il n'y a pas de savon, de manique ou de tapis de bain, un fond de sel, poivre et huile. (ok pour le cafĂ© et le liquide vaisselle, pas de dose de lessive). On ne parle pas non plus de produits locaux en guise de bienvenue ( si si ça se fait un peu partout en France et dans le monde ...)Bref, un joli gite mais l'accueil est Ă  amĂ©liorer

Beau chalet confortable avec les essentiels en hiver dans le Jura : un poĂȘle, un service Ă  fondue et un service Ă  raclette! Jeremy est toujours hyper rĂ©actif Ă  nos questions et facilement joignable. Un wc supplĂ©mentaire ou hors de la sdb aurait Ă©tĂ© un plus. Le wifi est aussi capricieux. Nous avons passé un trÚs bon week-end dans ce logement chaleureux et trÚs bien équipé. Proximité des Cascades du hérisson et du Lac de Chalin en font un point de chute idéal pour découvrir cette belle région. Le chalet est trÚs agréable, literie confortable et équipements complets pour un séjour à 7 personnes, enfants inclus. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !
