Welcome to Deer Haven Bungalow, a beautifully restored 1895 cottage in the heart of historic downtown Cody. Just two blocks from the iconic Irma Hotel, you are within easy walking distance to local restaurants, shops, galleries, live music, and museums. Spend your days exploring Yellowstone National Park and the surrounding outdoor adventure of the Greater Yellowstone region, then return to the charm, history, and small town energy that make Cody such a special destination.
Lovingly restored and styled with western retro character, this family friendly cottage blends historic charm with modern comfort. The cheerful eat in kitchen features full size appliances and space to gather before heading out for the day. The cozy living room offers comfortable seating and a Roku TV for relaxing evenings. Bedroom 1 includes a queen bed, while Bedroom 2 features a twin bunk bed and full size futon, making it ideal for families or small groups. The updated bathroom offers a spacious walk in tile shower. Please note there is no central A/C, but a portable unit is available in the front bedroom area for added comfort.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the welcoming front porch or unwind in the backyard where deer are often spotted resting in the shade. Whether you are here for Yellowstone, world class fly fishing, rodeos, or simply relaxation, Deer Haven Bungalow places you steps from the best of downtown Cody while offering a peaceful place to call home.

NOTE: This property does not have central A/C. Average temperatures in the summer are low 80's in the day and low 50's at night. There is a portable A/C unit in the front bedroom area for your comfort during warmer months.

Beautiful and quaint. Hands down the most well stocked place (kitchen and bathroom) place I’ve ever stayed. Since the house was built in the 1800’s the bathroom was added on and my friends had to traipse through my bedroom to get to it. No problem for us but might bother some people. Great place to stay!

Location was great!!! The kitchen and bathroom were stocked with what we needed. We had 5 people, the fold out bed in the 2nd bedroom is not really good for sleeping, my son ended up sleeping on the couch. Other than that - it was a great stay!

Property is as advertised. We enjoyed the easy walk to town. It did get warm during the heat of the day and the window unit a/c was not blowing very cool air. We stayed cool with the windows open and fan on. We would stay there again.

Great place

Really nicely done old home updated where it needs and left alone otherwise. Period furniture, well equipped kitchen with a great stove/oven. Also 2 blocks from Irma's and the center of town.

Excellent property!

We throughly enjoyed our stay here! The property was exactly as listed, extremely clean, a fully stocked kitchen, upgraded bathroom, and plenty of sleeping area. We saw several deer while staying here, and we were able to walk to a coffee shop every morning! The owner was very responsive, and very friendly! We would not hesitate to stay here again!
