Great location in the quiet town of Nahma on Big Bay. Shannon and her family go above and beyond to make sure your trip is perfect while staying in there home. We will Be back!

Host/owner is awesome! Very accommodating! Wonderful welcome gift and personal note! Home was very clean and has a well stocked kitchen! Beds are very comfortable, there's definitely enough room for two boats, and out door eclectic receptacle to charge boat batteries!!The boat launch is one half block away, so if the launch was full you can park truck and trailer the house, walk back and enjoy the day fishing!! The Nahma Inn is just past it, so walking to dinner is not far, the food there is great!

Wonderful time in the UP

Shannon’s place was just perfect for our travels throughout the UP. So clean, with all the amenities you could possibly think of for a home away from home. The area is gorgeous with several State Parks close by to explore. We had a wonderful stay at Shannon’s place in Nahma!

Shannon was a wonderful host. We used the home as a base camp for visiting attractions in the U.P. and had a great vacation.

Wonderful Little Getaway for the weekend

My husband and I have stayed here several years for our annual fishing trip. The home is perfectly located to access many local launches, including one practically across the street. The home is so cozy and always extremely clean. The hosts definitely go above and beyond to make you feel at home and welcome.

Relaxing in Nahma, MI

The house was neat and well organized, the kitchen had everything we could have needed. The beds were comfortable and the interior decorated with fun “welcomes” and subdued, relaxing colors. There was a nice treat box on the table when we arrived.

We enjoyed our time here! The house was very clean and well stocked with necessities. We had a nice time using the bonfire pit and we enjoyed the garden! The owners communicated with me when I had questions and let us know that we could reach out if we needed anything. Our family would definitely like to go back to this location again!

Great place to stay if you’re fishing

The communication from the owners started prior to our arrival date and continued through the stay ensuring that anything we needed was taken care of. The house was very clean and while it’s nothing extravagant the updates that have been done are great and anything you need is provided. If you’re planning on fishing while staying this is a great location as the boat launch is across the road two houses away.

Perfect!

It was the perfect quiet retreat for my husband and I to escape to. Quiet and relaxing. Cozy, clean, and comfortable. Well stocked and maintained. We enjoyed the beautiful area and the peacefulness of the community. Secluded but not too far from attractions. Definitely recommend.

Really clean property and cute house. The hosts are very nice and communicative and left a lovely welcome basket with snacks. The house has pretty much anything you need, very well stocked. The boat launch to lake michigan is VERY close. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to explore kitch iti kipi, hiawatha forest, or fayette ghost town. Roughly an hour from pictured rock and lots of waterfalls. We loved our stay and can definitely recommend this rental.

Cozy Stay in the UP

This home was perfect for our needs. It is ideally located right between Big Bay and Little Bay. It had a large driveway which was perfect for storing our boat. The home was extremely clean/spacious and the owners were not only wonderful at communicating but even left the most thoughtful note and welcome basket. Would most definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Down time delight.

Cute, quaint place. Very welcoming upon entrance. Thanks for the warm welcome letter And the snacks, nice touch! Be sure if you are a early riser to get fuel the night before! This area sleeps late. Garden corners gas Station does not open until 9 and The shell station in Garden is 8 except on Sunday It's 9. Take your time as you head out off Highway 2 to Nahma LOTS of Beautiful deer!
