This charmingly renovated cottage on Lake Michigan's Big Bay de Noc includes 240 feet of private beach!

This property is located next to the Sunset Beach House (VRBO #4319090) and can be rented concurrently.

Available to rent year-round, the cottage includes both air conditioning, and forced air heat and pellet stove.

Located about 40 miles east of Escanaba, with easy access to trails for snowmobiling and 4-wheeling.

Well-stocked kitchen with Keurig and outdoors we have a Weber gas grill.

Beautiful sunsets all year. Enjoy them in the summer sitting on the porch swing or by the fire pit on the beach.

Sleeps 5 comfortably.

Pet friendly so your furry friends can join you too!

Great place for a family or small group. Easy to access and quick walk to the beach. *Not a swimming beach. Each check in and the host was fast with communications. Very clean and well equipped with amenities to make the stay comfortable.Good spot to stay and explore this area of the UP.

Recommend 150%!!!! I had a great experience at this property. The place was super cozy, clean, and exactly what I needed for my trip. The owner was incredibly accommodating and even let me stay an extra day due to the snow, which I really appreciated. The neighbors were also very welcoming and made the stay feel even more comfortable. Overall, a perfect spot—I’d definitely stay here again!

Pictures are not what you get. There is no beach. You can see the water, but can’t access the water from property. There is a large mound of dirt on the left side of the yard, that blocks the view. You couldn’t access the air conditioner, we wore coats inside because the temp outside cooled off. The cabin was beautiful, nice and clean. Everything you needed for your stay was there.a for the cabin. Grill was clean. The host was awesome. She was easy to work with. Very nice. A to her also. Maybe just update the pictures.

We had a wonderful stay in Cooks, Michigan. The location was perfect, peaceful and close to everything we wanted to explore in the UP. The home was very clean, cozy, and well equipped with everything we needed. You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining the place. The views were beautiful and made it easy to relax and unplug. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Great location, beautiful sunsets on the water, all of the amenities, and a stocked kitchen. This was our second winter weekend renting this cabin and we will definitely be back! The backyard is perfect for dogs who love the snow We came back from an afternoon trip and the driveway and walkway/porch had been shoveled and plowed. Just wonderful. One of our favorite rentals in the UP!

Very clean, well stocked with everything you need and more, well decorated, good response from owner when needed! Couldn't ask for a better view of the lake, and firepit with all the wood you need for it was an added plus!

This was such a lovely place to stay! Various serene, comfortable and exceeded my expectations. The kitchen was well stacked with pots, pans, dishes, and condiments. We would definitely stay here again! Greatly appreciate this experience.

Sunset Beach House was beyond our expectations. It is a beautiful setting and had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving stay. We enjoyed the fire pit on the beach and appreciated that it is pet friendly. The home was very clean. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. The host was very responsive. We hope to return in the future!

Great Place to Stay

A great place to stay for a fishing trip out of Big Bay De Noc. The house was very well maintained and clean. Heather is very flexible and responsive and a great host.

Great stay! The cottage is cozy and had everything we needed for our long weekend! Water was amazing - shallow with sandbars sprinkled in for hundreds of feet out! The kids (14, 12, 10 & 8) loved exploring, kayaking, going for a walk in the water and swimming. Our host, Heather was very responsive to any questions I had.Highly recommend - we will be back!
