Lovely condo with swimming cove

We loved our stay a Sunset Cove! The condo had plenty of room for 5. We loved the swimming cove, and also having the pool with a bar. The beds were super cozy and the shower was refreshing. Thanks for letting us stay!

Beautiful Slice of Heaven in Grand Cayman

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. Great 3 bedroom with nice kitchen and living space. Great deck with everything you need to relax and let the ocean waves lull you to sleep. If you want to enjoy Seven Mile Beach without the crazy crowds. This is your spot!!

Location was great. Only issue we had was that the listing said 2 kings but one of them was actually a queen.

Great place!

We had an amazing time in Cayman. The condo was beautiful with the perfect location. Everything was as hoped - and Joe was a fantastic host. He assisted quickly whenever I contacted him. Would absolutely stay here again!!!

Joe’s home was absolutely amazing and breathtaking! The family and I have been to the Cayman Islands quite a few times but Joe’s listing is a hidden gem! We will definitely be back again as the sunsets were spectacular, the amenities were amazing, and Joe was readily available if needed!

Beautiful condo and views!

We were very happy with our condo choice at Sunset Cove! Very nice condo with everything we needed for a great girls trip. It was a quiet and peaceful in this area. There were plenty of lounge chairs at the beach and pool area. Everyone we encountered was super friendly and nice. Joe the host was very responsive to answer all of our questions. I would definitely stay here again!

An incredible view on a unique part of seven mile beach. When we met one of the next door neighbors, they asked “how did you know to know to come here?” We said we were very lucky to find it. The host was incredibly helpful with all our requests. If you are looking for a low key and beach bound holiday, this is a wonderful pick.

Business Stay!

Property very nice - apartment has ocean view and easy access to beach, pool, BBQ’s. Would have liked blackout curtains on windows, better toilet paper, supply of tissues and soap & shampoo products. Other than that I would highly recommend for business stay or personal stay.

The condo does not look as bright as in photos. Lots of dark brown furniture and bedding. The complex is dowdy and run down. Much less attractive than other options nearby. Still great sunset view and smallish beach. Lots of screaming kids. Also can’t walk on beach to other properties on 7 mile beach. We paid to spend the day at Bonny Moon and Westin where beach is gorgeous. Nd food and drinks are great. Also no soap or kleenex provided and fridge water filter needed changing, torn throw pillow and bugs in bathroom light. Also no closet in master so could not hang cloths except on bathroom hooks. . Ok for price but could be so much better with a bit of attention to details. The cleaning staff were lovely and did a nice job.

We had a lovely time at Sunset Cove! We walked to the Kirk market about a mile away and to downtown Georgetown which was super easy! The beach was beautiful and it was a great family atmosphere for our family of 3 with our 6 year old. We could easily walk to dinner as well and we even walked to our snorkel trip pick up! The beach here is protected by the man-made cove so the beach was not as eroded as many of the surrounding resorts/condos. It was also super quiet which was very nice! The condo was well-stocked; clean and quiet; perfect for our diy all-inclusive. Pool bar has food and drinks and there are several restaurants within easy walking distance. A wonderful spot

OK but not good. Won't ever book again

Dirty. Cheap furnishings. No curtains in one bedroom. No dresser in the other. Advertised on 7 mile beach. Technically correct but not connected to the portion of 7 mile beach where you can walk 7 miles. Maybe 100 yards each way from the condo is all you can walk. Also access to condo is horrible. You have to walk thru the abandoned ruins of the Margaritaville ruins.

Family memories

This was our first trip to Grand Cayman, and it did not disappoint. Weather was hot, it’s July and we had a scare of hurricane damage the week prior. But the island and everyone we encountered was perfect. We rented a car that we picked up at the airport. Driving was tricky the first day or two. Supermarkets are stocked, clean and huge! We did the bioluminescent excursion, which was fantastic and the sting ray city, star fish, coral reef snorkeling. Beautiful! But mostly we stayed all day on the property beach, and ocean. The house had everything we needed except a cigar cutter, lol! We used their floats, brought our own snorkeling masks. We cooked several meals ‘at home’. Ate at Peppers, The Lazy Lizard, the Cracked Conch, and Solis out at Rum point. Fantastic dining and views. We also enjoyed visiting Caybrew brewery and 1981! It was a magical week. Thank you. Btw: our family consists of 3 daughters (21,23, and 29) and one lucky boyfriend(31) was able to join us.

Great ocean front view with nice unit

We had issues. First day no air conditioning until 10pm. Then had construction in unit above us. They were replacing flooring. To remove existing flooring they were using extremely load equipment. When I complained about noice and not being able to get twin babies to sleep the owner was very unresponsive. She offered 100 dollars off. Her last offer was we could leave and find someplace else and she wouldn’t charge for the night we left. Very disappointed in how she handled this. Bottom line is these units are at an age where units are being remodeled. Lots of construction in individually owned units with poor communication. Renter beware.

Our family of 6, including 4 teenagers, recently stayed at Sunset Cove and had a great time. The resort is at the southern most end of 7 mile beach but the little beach out front is nice and quiet. The resort has a great pool, hottub, and pool side bar/grill that was fun to go to as well. The beach has plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The condo had a few floats that we used in the cove and that was alot of fun. We also brought our own snorkel gear and there was some good snorkeling on the reef just beyond the cove. We rented a van since there were 6 of us and we found that driving and walking to everywhere we wanted to go was easy. Governors Beach a short drive north was awesome and had plenty of parking. There are restaurants, the grocery store, and tons of liquor stores near by, many within an easy 5 minute walk. The surrounding area is safe to walk even with small kids as there is a sidewalk. The unit is well appointed with everything you need in the kitchen, plenty of towels, a large living room that could accommodate all 6 of us, a big tv, and really great views of the ocean, plus great A/C. It is beach front and the primary bedroom has access to the balcony with great views of the ocean. Parking was relatively easy and there were enough spots. The location is really convenient to the airport, George Town, and Seven Mile. Several people in the complex we talked to didnt rent a car and were still able to walk to most things or take a short taxi ride to other things.

Sunset Cove Condo

The Sunset Cove community has lovely grounds, an awesome swimming cove, soft sand, plenty of well maintained beach chairs & umbrellas and a fun pool. We ran into a few issues with our rental, unit 1663658, some of which were more impactful than others. - The air conditioning temperature is locked and the second day we arrived the unit was too hot and made for an uncomfortable night's sleep. Maintenance did solve the problem, but it still shouldn't have happened. - We initially couldn't connect to the internet because "SunsetCove 230" network is incorrectly listed on the property information sheet . If anyone is reading this, use "Minkin" instead. It took us longer time than needed to figure this out. Small annoyance. - The biggest problem was lack of storage. The master bedroom does not have a closet or a hanging rack - there's literally no place to hang clothes. I used the closet in the twin bedroom, but that didn't meet our needs as more than half of that closet is filled with owner supplies (tile, construction material, and an excessive amount of comforters, blankets and throw pillows far beyond what a guest could need.) We asked the owner to remove these items so we had space to unpack for our one-week stay and he declined. A off-site storage rental is needed for all of these supplies so guests have access to a clean and free closet. - The third bedroom is not a king. It's a Queen bed. Equally as important, this bedroom is entirely missing the large dresser, as shown in property pictures. There are two nightstands and a small closet. During our stay the occupants of the Queen bedroom had to live out of their suitcase for any items that couldn't hang. For the price we paid, this didn't seem right. The rest of the property is as pictured, the appliances are new and in good working order, the water pressure was fine and we had plenty of hot water. Hope this is helpful!

We had a great time here at Joes place! The condo has a gorgeous oceanfront view and the beach is well taken care of as well as the pool and swim up bar. I will say that it is recommended to rent a car as the resort that used to be Margaritaville is abandoned (bought by the Hyatt to be opened in 2028) so there isn’t a convenience store near by, so you will need a taxi or a rented car to get around. We had a great time and will definitely come back!

The place was as listed online and had a beautiful view right on the water. It was perfect for a girls weekend. There were plenty of places to walk to but a vehicle is a must for this location if u want to see more of the island.

9 nights at the Cove!

We had a wonderful 9 night stay at this unit in Sunset Cove! This large unit is very lovely and it is located directly on the water!! It is oceanfront on one of the best , chill spots on SMB! The unit was very clean and had everything you basically need. My family all loved the fantastic cove and my 3 kids loved the pool and hot tub! Many fun people from all over the world! The poolside food and staff were also a hit! Unit was clean upon arrival, and has a great big couch and table for inside and outside dining! We only used the outside table for dining, since the weather is so fabulous! The unit does need a few basic maintenance issues, yet I'm sure the owner will get on top of those things. We would love to return to this special spot! It really is a beautiful place to stay!

Amazing Place

This condo overlooks the waters of the Caribbean on 7-mile beach. The close proximity to all the important amenities (ocean/beach/pool/restaurants/shops/airport/etc) exceeds expectations. Most importantly, the host; Joe, was supper gracious allowing us early access after a long journey waiting on plane maintenance....He was awesome!

Newly renovatated Oceanfront Condo, 3 Bed-sleeps 8, 2 Baths, second floor unit

This newly renovated oceanfront, second floor condo is located on Seven Mile Beach about a mile from Georgetown and walking distance from many of the stores, restaurants, and night spots. It has a large,16x25ft. open air patio overlooking the Ocean with a view of Seven Mile Beach from end to end. The patio provides front row seats to the magnificent Grand Cayman sunsets. At night you can fall asleep to the calming sounds of the Ocean right outside your condo.

The complex provides the perfect balance between the privacy of your own condo and the amenities of a four star resort. The condo complex has its own private beach, two fresh water swimming pools, a freshwater hottub, a children's wading pool, and a swim up bar and grill. There is a marine park off the beach which is ideal for snorkeling.
