Wonderful time in a perfect setting
SHHH. Don't tell your friends about this one! It's our Secret!
Nick's place is a little slice of Home on the Range. We drove in late, to a herd of mule deer nestled up in front of the cabin and awoke to an amazing sunrise over the hills. The picnic table next to the little stream? creek? was an excellent place for our first breakfast in Montana.
A quick trip into Bozeman for an MSU tour, and the rest of our days spent in Yellowstone, we loved every minute of our stay. The kitchen had all we needed to prepare our meals including the biggest stock pot I have ever seen, and the washer and dryer were nice to launder some wet clothing. There was nothing we were missing.
Beds were comfortable, cabin was warm and charming, and our 4 kids loved it! Were able to pet the horses with permission, and woke one day to see the pasture moved so we could watch them out the front windows, which was a treat too.
Last day we awoke to about 4 inches of snow, which was a gorgeous sight as well. We wish we had planned one day just to stay at the cabin, as mornings and evenings just weren't enough.
Can't wait to come back again!
Beautiful Big Sky Country
The only regret that I have with this property was that we needed a couple more days to enjoy it's peacefulness and beauty.Great getaway.
Come back soon! Glad you enjoyed your stay!
We enjoyed our stay. There was an abundance of wildlife to view. The roads to the cabin aren’t the best but are manageable.
Peaceful Stay in Mountain Getaway
I had the opportunity to spend some time at "Nick's Place" recently and it was just what I needed. A perfect place to get away from the busyness of life and wind down in this beautiful mountain getaway. I definitely enjoyed this quint little cottage like guest house. The views and scenery are breathtaking. You can wake up and sip on your coffee as you look out over acreage of horse property and flowing green fields. Then go for a stroll and listen to the nearby creek ripple by. I highly recommend the stay at Nicks Place in the Livingston/Bozeman countryside. Whether you're looking for a mountain getaway, a small gathering of friends away from the crowded city, or just a place to stay while visiting Livingston or Bozeman, this place is just right. It's easy to get to as its only a 15 minute drive off the highway, yet feels secluded and remote as well. It is very clean, neat, organized and well decorated from cute little elk antlers to old rustic bobsleds which helps to embrace its western heritage. Thanks Kevin and Lauren for a wonderful stay. You can count on me coming back soon!
Can't wait to see you again!
This house is absolutely adorable. I was looking for a place close to Bozeman, but more remote with beautiful views. This place was exactly what I needed for a relaxing, easy, and beautiful stay.
We like relaxing! Hope to see you again soon!
