About this property

South Beach Bald Head Island, NC: Panoramic Views , Short walk to beach

Nestled in the dunes between South Beach and the 17th fairway, our ocean view home offers a main floor that has an open great room and kitchen as well as two bedrooms each with its own full bath on opposite sides of the house. Each downstairs bedroom has one queen bed and one twin bed and its own screen porch which connects to the main curved deck.

The master suite is on the second floor along with the master bath with double sink, shower and Jacuzzi tub. The master bedroom has a king size bed, a balcony facing the ocean, and panoramic views of the island.

On the ground level, there is a two cart garage and a large enclosed outdoor shower.
During the summer months, our weekly rentals are from Friday to Friday.
Your rental includes:
- 2 golf carts (4 and 6-seaters)
- wireless cable internet
- House cleaning upon departure
- Optional temporary club membership for an additional charge to the BHI club. Note, the club has placed limits to the number of guests they allow each week so early registration is a must at time of booking to avoid being put on a wait list.

Everything was as listed! They had a pack and play and high chair for baby. 6 nice beach chairs and beach toys too. We loved all of the outdoor spaces to chill! Owner was great to work with and responded quickly to any questions.

Bald Head Get away

We had a great stay with Bob. We have a family of 5 and felt like we had more than enough room. It was a great location with plenty to do there and the sounding area. Short drive to the beach and club.

Great location

The location was perfect for getting to the stores and beach access. I loved watching the deer every morning while I drank my coffee on the big beautiful deck overlooking the trees. I liked how private the property was and each bedroom was separated for maximum privacy. We love Bald Head Island!

Fantastic stay!

Great experience. Phenomenal home. Beautiful place. Bob was great with communication and ensuring our stay was perfect. The house was perfect for our family. We had 5-8 people at any given time. It was perfect!

It was wonderful

We were three generations staying in this great home! The location is ideal and so close to the beach. Plenty of space for the family to spread out with the large deck and even hammocks! We used both golf carts which meant we could do different activities if we wished. The owner was available and so helpful. A perfect vacation.

wonderful fall vacation

We love Bald Head Island and have been coming for over 30 years, staying in different locations around the island. This house was in a great location on the island. Our host was very responsive and helpful. We especially enjoyed the porches. The furniture was comfortable. It would have been nice if the bikes and golf carts were in better condition.

Great family home with all things needed for a relaxing stay.

We had a great time staying at 28 Morning Warbler. The house is in a great location near south beach which is a great beach for building sand castles and body surfing. Nice peaks of ocean from main level and gorgeous views from top deck. House had all the supplies and linens needed for a relaxing stay. Decor was beachy and bright. Golf carts worked great and had plenty of room for all of our stuff. Will definitely be back!

Lovely Home on Bald Head Island

My wife and I along with another couple stayed at this lovely home while attending a wedding on Bald Head Island. The house was clean and spacious with a wonderful back deck. We were very impressed with the well-equipped kitchen. It had everything needed to prepare simple or more elaborate meals. The golf carts took us wherever we needed to go on the island and worked without any problem. Communication with the owners was excellent; check-in and check-out was a breeze. We really enjoyed our time here!

Great Stormy Stay on Bald Head!

Our family spends a week on Bald Head every year. We feel very fortunate to have stayed at this property this summer. Tropical Storm Debby came ripping through right in the middle of our stay. The property owner Bob was super proactive during the storm, checking on us and even offering us a free half-week some other time if we wanted to bail before the storm. Can't say enough about how great it was to have been looked after like that. This place is worth a stay just based on that. By the way it's a great property, ideally located and loaded with amenities. We'll be back.

Decks for days!

Perfect house for our family of 4 (2 teens)! The views are incredible — and so many places to enjoy them. Tea and sunrises from the top deck. Happy hour cocktails and sunsets on the main deck. Naps in the hammocks on the ground floor. Loved the light inside the house too —so many windows! Rooms are huge and comfortable. Beds are great. Kitchen has everything you need. Love this location too … sooo quite. Recommend!!

Expansive, a bit dated and lots of owner family photos

A bit dated, but clean, the rental is nicely outfitted with an expansive back deck, larger TVs, some cool hammocks, tons of natural light everywhere, two golf carts (a huge plus), beach toys and a couple of bikes good enough for a short ride. The only thing preventing it from feeling like the perfect getaway are the countless family photos everywhere. The photos of the property also don't show the large, unattractive marlin over the TV.

A peaceful spot on BHI

Bob’s house is well furnished and in a great location—quiet and near the beach—with everything a family might need for a relaxing stay on the island. We loved spending time on the decks. Bob was helpful and easy to communicate with throughout our visit. We would love to return! *One note for future weekly renters: the BHI Club has changed its policies and is no longer as friendly to island visitors. If you want to book a guest membership, do so early and anticipate paying more than in previous years but only for a M-F pass with some access to the loud and overcrowded kids/families pool.

Bald head island

I want to start out saying Bob was a great person to deal with. The house wasn’t the cleanest a lot of bugs (I know it is at the beach but there was a lot ). The house came with two golf carts the 6 person would hardly make it to the store and back so we all could not go exploring at night, th 4 person cart was very slow but the battery did last longer then the 6 person. Over all we had a good time just wish we could go exploring the island more . But again the owner was the nicest guy you could rent from.

Great for house young families

This was a great house for our family of 5. We have 3 kids ages 6 and under. The house feels comfortably lived-in so we didn't feel like our kids were going to destroy everything they touched. It was clean and inviting and our host was kind and helpful. The main patio has comfortable outdoor furniture and my husband and I enjoyed the evenings on the top balcony listening to the ocean and watching the stars come out after the kids were in bed. Everything we needed was provided, including a couple of sand buckets for the beach! We also loved the location of this house. Because it's somewhat in the middle of the island you aren't far from anything. Just one street off the main "road," you can see the ocean from the top balcony. You could technically walk to the beach but with little kids we took the golf cart and chose the side of the island we thought would have less wind. :) Thanks for a great weekend on BHI!

A Slice of Paradise - A perfect family getaway

Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at Bob’s beach house rental that surpassed all my expectations. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. The house is stocked with everything you need whether you’re preparing a meal or heading out to the beach (plenty of bikes, beach toys and chairs). This beach house rental truly offers a slice of paradise, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. I love having a lot of natural light at the house, so one of the standout features of this beach house rental is the breathtaking view it offers from the master bedroom. Also, the expansive deck is heavenly for enjoying my morning coffee, lounging in the sun or having a bite to eat. The spacious living area was perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach, and the bedrooms provided us a peaceful sanctuary for a restful night's sleep. Outdoor shower and large sitting area downstairs were a wonderful surprise. I would love to come back and enjoy that area in cooler months. The beach house location was perfect for access to the beach or a minute drive to the club. Our son loved riding his bike in the evening through the neighborhood. I liked that he could stay off the main roads and still have fun. Our host, Bob, provided an exceptional service. He was very attentive and addressed any concerns/inquiries promptly, ensuring a stress-free and enjoyable experience from start to finish. He went above and beyond!

Good for weekend getaway with kids.

We had a great weekend get away. 3 families each with a toddler in tow stayed in the house and enjoyed the great October weather. The deck was perfect for little ones! There are no stairs that they could fall off of, so it made a perfect area to let the 18-24 month olds run around together. The "ocean view" is best viewed from the master bedroom, the main floor porch had an okay view of the ocean. We thought the house might have been closer to the ocean but it ended up okay. The house was a little dated but felt lived in and we were comfortable with letting the kids play. We did not have enough seating for all of us at the table, even though we had a high chair. Wish that there were some folding chairs or other chairs other than the bar stools (that were taller than the kitchen table) so all that the house slept (8) would allow everyone to sit at the table and eat at the same time. Probably the biggest issue was that the beds are super creaky! It was hard having toddlers sleep in the pack and play in the room because every movement you made in the bed was a loud creaking sound. The 6 person golf cart's lights were not operational and the owner did respond about how to get them fixed, but with toddlers we weren't out after dark, so the owner said they would take care of the next time that they were down at the house. The owner was very responsive via text message. Overall, a good house for families and we would stay there again.

Great home for families!

The homeowner really made our first visit to the island an enjoyable one. Bob and I spoke long before we arrived, and he offered great advice on how and what to pack and details about what we would find on the island. We were there for our nephew’s wedding and then stayed the week after. The bedroom situation was ideal for our two daughters and their husbands to each have their own privacy and space. And our 2 year old grandson was safe in the twin bed (side rail at the house), and the 1 year old in the provided pack and play. The beach was very close by, and everything we needed was provided. I highly recommend the Coastal Urge rental program for a 10x10 tent, chairs, Bluetooth cooler with ice and water, and a corn hole game. It was worth every penny to not have to set it up or tear it down! Between the tent on the beach, the close beach access with the two golf carts, the wonderful home to relax in, and the gorgeous sunshine we had, it was the ultimate beach trip! Thanks for everything, Bob!

Favorite location on Bald Head Island

We've stayed in different locations on the island (oceanfront, marsh, marina), and enjoyed each of them, but I think this may be my favorite. Close to the ocean, centrally located on the island, and the house had lots of space for my husband, myself, and two grown children. The deck was a favorite place to hang out with coffee each morning.
