Beautiful Cabin - Summer or Winter Retreat!

This year-round cabin was constructed in 2018. Beautiful setting on gorgeous Turtle Lake! Great fishing, swimming, boating! Also a winter wonderland for snowmobiling, ice fishing, etc. Property has 4 spacious bedrooms. Sleeps up to 10-12 comfortably. Cabin has main floor with lofted ceiling. All pine hardwood throughout. Bedrooms and living room are carpeted. Upper floor has two bedrooms (one with 4 twin beds), the other with one double bed and two twin beds. These upper bedrooms share a bathroom with shower/tub. Master bedroom on main floor has its own bathroom and shower. Newly finished lower level (walkout) has a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with shower. Beautiful gas fireplace! Water baseboard heating system, which provides very even heat during the cold months. Quality, treated drinking water. Satellite TV and Wi-Fi. Outdoor fire pit area. One deck off the master bedroom and one deck off the kitchen. Gas grill. One side of 50 foot dock available for boat space. Private setting and enough parking for at least three vehicles. This is paradise in any season!

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was very nice! Everyone in our group really enjoyed our stay!John, the owner, communicated above and beyond what was expected. He was very responsive to our questions! He also gave us some really good fishing honey holes! Thanks John!I highly recommend renting this cabin!

Beautiful place and had everything we needed. We enjoyed it so much and Jon was an amazing host. When they say the kitchen has everything, they meant it. The kayaks were great. We spent so much time on the water. Peaceful as well. Sitting by the shore or on the dock or decks was extra special.

Wedding Weekend

We had a wedding nearby but wanted to stay in a cabin instead of a resort for privacy and to be more imersive. The cabin is perfect. It has everything you need. We would definitely go back and spend a week. Great hosts!

Family Getaway

The property exceeded our expectations in all ways. It’s a beautiful place with plenty of space for ten of us. We enjoyed being able to swim right by the dock and had so much fun catching a lot of fish. The owners are extremely organized and responsive to questions. We’d definitely consider renting it again.

Weekend getaway

The house was great. It was well stocked and clean. Lots to do. We fished? Had a fire and even ayed somw onsite games. John was great and easy to get a hold of. I would definately recommend this cabin.

Gorgeous clean spacious kid-friendly cabin

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Great space for multiple generations. Top floor can host a family with many kids, grandparents on the main, and another gorgeous bedroom and bathroom in the above-grade basement. Very very clean and well organized, with all the cooking and kid entertainment things you could ever need (books and games). Nice firepit and great BBQ. Everything is labeled and easy to find. Host is a great communicator. Kids can play by the shore and catch crayfish and smaller fish, great spot for swimming with pretty warm water in June.

Best time ever!!

John (owner) communicated with me non-stop throughout the weeks that I had to wait until my visit. He provided me every single detail that I needed to know and that would be helpful for me in my planning. His house was fully stocked and even more beautiful then the pictures described. Me and my guests felt like home for the entire weekend. I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK AGAIN!!!

Great cabin, we will be back!

The cabin and property were absolutely beautiful! The owner was great to work with and checked in on us to ensure our stay was fantastic! We brought our boat up and were able to dock. The lake was gorgeous and fun for water skiing and tubing!

Couldn't ask for more!

Beautiful new cabin with all the comforts of home. Lots of little touches that you normally wouldn't expect in a rental. The owners spend a lot of time here. they love this place and it shows. Big storms went through, power went out and the owner texted to make sure we were ok. Take care of this place! You will want to come back. Really couldn't ask for more!

Exceptionally Positive Experience

I just spent a week on Turtle lake with my wife and adult daughter. Our week there exceeded all expectations. The property matches the photos. It is beautiful, well maintained, and very comfortable. We were so grateful that John and his wife provided many of the essentials such as linens and towels so we did not have to pack all of those things. Internet was an added bonus. We had three adults working remotely and internet was faster and more reliable than our home internet. John was very responsive to all of our questions. I was actually surprised how quickly he got back to me. He made the process very easy and he made us feel welcome. He also provided us with useful information about the area. Check in and check out could not have been more simple. We were hoping for some solitude and nature activities and this place fit the bill perfectly. We would definitely go back if we have the opportunity in the future.

Great snowmobile family getaway with games galore

John was a fantastic host and was extremely accommodating and attentive. The cabin was beautifully decorated and the large family room fireplace made our stay so comfy. The cabin is filled with board games, puzzles, cards, ping pong table and corn hole offering our family nights of entertainment!! Everything is very neatly marked and organized. This was the perfect cabin size for our young adult family of five and two friends (16, 19,19, 20,21yr old). The snowmobileing was some of the best we've ever had!! Deep off trail powder and perfectly groomed trails. Tip: Two small families could potentially make it work too! There was a pull out couch in the basement. We'd recommend this cabin to others, you won't be disappointed!

Fun family get away!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was beautiful and we couldn’t believe how clear and clean the lake was. We enjoyed tubing and skiing and did a lot of fishing! John was extreme helpful and accommodating…couldn’t have asked for any better communication. Such a fun week making memories with the fam!

Great getaway on Turtle Lake

We had a great time staying at this beautiful cabin right on Turtle Lake. The cabin is very nice and comfortable. John has made it very easy to feel right at home while you’re there. The lake is also very nice. We saw eagles and loons daily. We spent the week kayaking, hiking and floating in the lake. It was very relaxing. There’s also a ping pong table which was very fun. There are a few decent restaurants within 20 minutes if you don’t feel like cooking. Overall, a great cabin.

Magnificent cabin experience!

We’re already planning our next visit! This cabin was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family of four. John was an outstanding host, calling us before our trip and even texting once we arrived to make sure everything was okay. We stayed for seven nights in late March. We cooked every meal at the cabin. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil, pot, pan, or gadget we needed to cook from scratch. We enjoyed lots of family time together playing board games, watching movies, and building campfires outside. Our teens loved the ping pong table in the lower level. The bedrooms were great and the beds were more comfortable than our own at home! It was the perfect trip!

Great stay

John has an awesome place. It was perfect for our group of 6 guys. We were looking for a place close to good ice fishing and we found it! Ping pong table was fun, fishing table was a nice bonus as well!
