This is our second stay at Norcross Cottage and it is a perfect accommodation for us. We are a half hour from Baxter State Park and able to return after a day of hiking to a comfortable homey setting where we can cook a meal, play games, watch a movie, and sleep very well. Terrific hosts in a beautiful setting.
Faye and Donny’s place was a perfect getaway. They have an excellent location on the lake. Faye was super accommodating with an additional day we added.Donny showed us the lay of the land and the house decor makes the home very quaint and cozy. Would definitely stay again!
Thank you Faye and Don for a wonderful visit. Cottage is beautiful, bed was comfortable, access to the lake and deck were amazing! Thank you again to Faye and Don their kindness and hospitality was greatly appreciated! We will definitely be back!
Faye and Don are genuinely nice people who helped when we needed help, and stayed back when we wanted privacy. We survived the Golden Road, but were glad of the adventure. F/D offered a sunset cruise on our last night which was a godsend after swamping two kayaks and the paddle boat!
This property was an absolute dream and we truly wish we had booked more days here!Faye and Donny are on property which is fantastic! They were extremely attentive about our accommodations and had so much knowledge about the area, trails and parks.Thank you so for having us!
I could not have asked for better place to stay for our white water rafting adventure. The cottage is very quaint and has everything you would need for your stay along with lake access in the backyard. Faye and Donny are very welcoming hosts, allowing you full use of their canoes and kayaks to enjoy the lake and they were even gracious enough to take us for a sunset cruise of the lake on their personal Pontoon boat. Highly recommend.
Spent one week at this wonderful place that really felt like home. So comfortable, on a beautiful lake and close to everything northern Maine has to offer. Hosts are terrific and we’d definitely consider staying again.
We enjoyed our stay very much—beautiful scenery and the cottage was delightful. Our host was so helpful with suggestions for touring, and we were very comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer.
We had the most peaceful and relaxing stay at this beautifully and lovingly maintained property. Faye and Don were incredibly warm and friendly hosts, and provided us with some fascinating history of the area and home, as well as great tips on where to sightsee. Everything was so cozy and comfortable, and the setting is absolutely picturesque and gorgeous everywhere you look. This is truly a gem of a place and we both can't wait to come back again for another visit, for a longer period of time!
Quiet, cute, comfy. Excellent communication with Faye and David. We loved sitting on the bedroom deck enjoying the view and listening to the birds. A nice central location for activities in and near Baxter. Thanks for a great stay.
Excellent stay - feels like visiting family (in the best way possible!)
Donny and Faye were lovely - their property was very comfortable, and they clearly go above and beyond to make it a good experience. We loved staying on the water, and they even took us out on their boat for a tour of the surrounding lakes. We really enjoyed our time there (especially our kids), and we would definitely go back!
I was a bit surprised by the duplex style accommodations, but it turned out well. Our hosts were friendly and gave us our privacy throughout our stay. I wouldn't think twice about staying with them again.
It was an awesome getaway to Penobscot, my first time in Millinocket and Norcross. Beautiful views, trips to Baxter SP area.
