The Studio was formerly the working Studio of Famous Motorsport Artist Eric Herrmann. Situated on 3 Acres against the Tonto National Forest, this stunning hideaway is peaceful and secluded.

Close to all the National Forest has to offer, Hiking, Biking, Motorcycle & Quad Trails, Boating at Bartlett Lake, The Studio is a perfect Base Camp. Located in the Golf Mecca of the west, The Studio looks out on "The Outlaw" golf course at Desert Mountain.

Nice stay for friends and family

We live in the area and find the unit helpful in providing a nice private space for our friends and family who come to visit. The views are gorgeous, the hosts are welcoming and easy to work with, and let's face it, it's just a FUN atmosphere!

Fantastic location and wonderful people!

Our stay at Eric and Suzanne’s casita was great! A beautiful property with wonderful views. Every morning I took the dog on a walk around the neighborhood. The neighbors were friendly and best of all only half a block away was a wonderful wine bar my husband and I would walk to each night. Looking forward to going back!

The motor sports studio

Amazing property, location and hosts! I would def recommend staying here if in the cave creek area. Perfect location in proximity to mtb and road cycling trails as well as shops, bars, restaurants etc., Again the hosts are wonderful people as well! Eric has some amazing art and I bought a piece for memorabilia!

This was the most coolest and safest and comfortable place I've ever been. Many extras bottled water and sodas in the fridge, lovely fenced in yard for my dogs. The views are spectacular lots of wildlife, if you want peace and quiet this is exactly it! The owners are very friendly easy to communicate with and is there for you if you need anything! I will definitely be back in the artwork is amazing!

Private stay

The space was great, no oven but they have an old cooktop. Pots and pans could use an upgrade. No washer or dryer, so if you’re staying a week like we did, go to town to do laundry. We like the space, our dog did well here and we walked just up the Road to Ravens view Restaurant. You are close to all kids of trails, and great little towns. The host Susannevery kind.

A Top Rated Best Place Ever Stay

This is one of those properties that you wish you could give more than a 5 star rating, We have stayed with a lot of exceptional properties using VRBO and this one is on the very top of our "best list". Owners/managers were the nicest, property itself was so amazing and unique. BEAUTIFUL views, quiet, private, convenient. AND THE ARTWORK!!! I spent hours looking at the artwork, its INCREDIBLE... AND to meet the artist in person was the topping on the cake. Thank you Eric and Suzanne for making our stay so memorable and enjoyable! We shall see you soon! (and our dog was as happy here as we were! he gives it 4 paws high-five!)

Eric and Suzanne have been married for thirty five year's, have three grown children and absolutely love living in Cave Creek, Arizona. Eric grew up in Chicago Illinois. He moved to Arizona in 1978 to complete his degree in Fine Arts at Arizona State University. He is now a World Famous Motorsport Artist. Suzanne grew up in Atlanta Georgia and moved to Arizona in 1983. She is the Controller of Downtown Phoenix Inc. A non profit that serves as the concierge service for Downtown Phoenix making it a great place to live, learn, work and play.

Why they chose this property

Situated on 3 acres against the Tonto National Forest, this stunning hideaway is peaceful and secluded.

When Eric and Suzanne first met he took her on a motorcycle ride up to Tonto Hills, an old artist's community north of Cave Creek with beautiful 150 mile mountain views and 10 to 12 degrees cooler than Phoenix. Eric told Suzanne he wanted to buy property, design a home and live there one day. Fifteen years and three kids later that is exactly what they did!

The Herrmann's purchased the property in 1998 designed and built their dream home and studio in 2003. Now that the kids are grown they have plenty of room to share their beautiful property.

What makes this property unique

Located 8 miles from the Unique Western Town of Cave Creek, The Studio is hidden in the Mountains against National Forest. There is an unobstructed view of the Mountains for 150 miles. At 3600 ft. in elevation, we are 12 to 15 degrees cooler than Phoenix in the Summertime.

Close to all the Tonto National Forest has to offer, Hiking, Biking, Motorcycle & Quad Trails, Boating at Bartlett Lake, the Studio is a perfect Base Camp. Located in the Golf Mecca of the west, The Studio looks out on "The Outlaw" golf course at Desert Mountain.
