Rincon property was better than described in listing. House is large, open, spacious, clean and equipped with everything we needed plus so much more. Property manager, Hannah was very prompt with communication. Would absolutely return and highly recommend.

The pictures don’t do this property justice. We were truly impressed by the location, the views, the comfort, and the ease of staying. Beyond that, the house is gorgeous. Our hosts were incredibly attentive and responsive. I would return in a heartbeat. Thank you for being the example of a perfect VRBO host!

Great family spot

Our family had a great time staying here. The house is just as advertised. Just a staircase and a few steps from the beach. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful and comfortable ocean view home

This house is gorgeous- lots of open shared space and enormous kitchen. Beds were very comfortable and everything was new and very clean. Would definitely return to this awesome ocean adjacent home!

Perfect home in a perfect location

The home is perfectly situated, clean, and has a comfortable beachy vibe. It's extraordinary to stay in this unique quiet community with beach access steps away. And the beach is special- there is a wide swath of sand for sunning, walking, and playing; tide pools at low tide for exploring; gentle waves that are great for body surfing and boogie boarding; it's not crowded, and dogs are allowed.

Great Home

The house was very comfortable for our group of 4 adult couples. The living room, dining room, outdoor living space and bedrooms are very well laid out and accommodate a group of our size. We considered other properties in the area, but many beach properties are smaller and older. We were very happy with our decision to stay here.

July 4th

We stayed with daughter, SIL, and 6 yr. old grandson. The house is beautiful, well stocked with games, and beach toys. Great neighborhood for walks, and beach very close. Beautiful view from living room and front deck.

Amazing Location!

We loved being just a few steps from the beach. The house was airy and open, perfect for a family rental. There was not much of a homey feel, which was as expected. Everything was clean except the dishwater in the cabinets should be cleaned now and then. The rental team was super accessible and we really enjoyed our stay!

Rincon Reunion

Eight of us gathered here for a week. Its a special place as half grew up iin Carpenteria and Rincon Point is their favorite place. The house was spectacular. The views, the space itself, the completely stocked kitchen. And Jenna responded to every question almost immediately. We do these reunions every year, and all agreed this was the best yet -

Life is good at the beach

What a wonderful home- beautiful and comfortable. The deck overlooking the ocean is so inviting and a great place to relax. We were 8 girls in one family (ages 32-66) on a get away weekend . As some of us live in the LA area and others in the San Luis Obispo area this location was a perfect 1/2 way meeting spot. We were able to relax, walk on the beach and enjoy the beautiful house in Rincon. The house with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms is perfect for women- room to gather and room to spread out. Deidre and Emily were helpful and able to address all of our needs and questions. We are definitely planning to return for next years get-away (this was our first and a success so it will become a tradition)

beautiful home

Unfortunately, we were in Santa Barbara for a memorial beloved husband, brother and father. The house was absolutely turn key and hassle free, and made everything so much easier.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

We stayed in this amazing house with 6 friends and had the best time. The very short walk to the gorgeous beachfront was magical. We felt even though we were having a local weekend getaway...we felt like we traveled to another country!! The house is very spacious, well equipped, very well designed and thought out with 4 baths in each of the 4 guestrooms!! We will for sure be returning guests soon!!

Gorgeous, well-equipped place

We could not have been happier with the place. It is in a gated community with easy beach access. There are two master suites, one upstairs and one downstairs. The kitchen and laundry room were well equipped. It rained almost the entire time we were there, and there was no surf, so we hope to stay again when it's sunny and there's surf.

Worst VRBO experience-DO NOT BOOK

This VRBO requires a a large security deposit, which should have tipped me off that something unusual was going on. After a very nice and uneventful weekend, we were told that they found scratches on the floor in one of the bedrooms. They are using a large amount of our security deposit to replace floorboards. I am certain that our group did not cause these scratches and am currently disputing the charge through VRBO. It’s been a huge headache and I would not recommend booking this house.

Dear Meredith, We rarely need to take security deposit deductions and we strive to return deposits in full, but there are instances where damage is caused and a repair is needed. We have photos and videos from before and after each check-in and check-out, and we work with VRBO when we come across an issue. In your case, VRBO reviewed the details and approved of the deduction. The security deposit for this property is $3,000, which is fair given the recent renovation of this property, and it is the amount set by the property owners. We have collected this amount for many years running on a number of our rentals. Some of our rentals collect even larger security deposits and this helps to filter for quality tenants who are respectful and who will care for our listings. This is a positive for both our clients and the gated community where this special property is located. The owners of this property went through a remodel down to the studs, and all surfaces are brand new. We are sorry you feel disappointed and hope you understand this is not fun for our team or the property owners either. We are disappointed to receive a negative review after having you stay and then needing to make corrections upon your departure. It is time consuming for us as well. Perfect Family a Getaway!

We had a wonderful 3 night getaway over Thanksgiving break with family. We loved the open kitchen and family room design to all be together cooking, playing games and watching football. The highlight was the quick walk to the beach to catch the sunset and watch the dolphins. We loved sitting outside on the patio where you can enjoy a beautiful ocean view and hear the ocean waves. This property was everything we had hoped for. Would highly recommend and we would love to stay here again.

Shreddin’ it!

My family and our friends stayed at Bob’s House for a week. We had an amazing time. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for eight of us. It’s across from the beach with about two minute walk to the waves. The outdoor shower and hose made coming back from the water so easy. My kids had such a good time surfing the awesome breaks of Rincon. Do yourself a favor and stay in this place for a week. We left wishing we lived there!
