Adorable lake house!! We loved the game room with a pool table and bar. So much fun using the kayaks and SUP board provided. Gorgeous garden, and multiple levels of porches to enjoy!

What a wonderful home. The upstairs bunk room is awesome. The record room with pool table and bar is even cooler. Feels like a speak easy. The lake was wonderful this time of year. Warm, clear water made for great afternoons on the water. We will surely be back

The home offers everything. Nicely kept and a exceptionally well stocked kitchen. Beautiful landscaping ,easy walk to the dock and swimming. Fishing seems to be the challenge. Our host Marianne was exception. Any question was immediately answered with much help.Will be renting again next year.

Awesome group house

The house was clean and well maintained and the hosts provided everything you need to enjoy your stay! There is limited parking for both cars and your boat but it's doable!

Annual Family weekend

Very nice property. Clean and Comfy. We really enjoyed being on the lake. Perfect for boating, fishing and it was nice to have canoe, paddleboard and kayaks. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous. Loved sitting on deck and looking out at them.

Great place to stay and play. Had everything you need. As per photos and info. 15 minutes to greenway in Morganton and close to Fonta Flora brewery and hiking trails!

Comfy home and quiet area

Even though there are houses close by, it was quiet. We had a great getaway, 4 kids and 6 adults. The kids all shared the bunkbed room which is the third floor. Had everything we needed.

The Perfect Lake James House

This is the perfect house for a family vacation on Lake James. The kitchen is well equipped. The top floor is perfect for a group of kids. We all loved the bottom floor pool table and record player. The dock it great to swim from and it located in a peaceful cove. This is our 3rd time staying here and plan to return every year.

Wonderful!

We all loved this property. Plenty of room for all 14 of us. We found a hiking trail just down the street. The view of the lake was beautiful.
