A chance to have the use of an entire gite complex.Merlin ,Nightingale and Wren cottages at the Old Bakery gites offer the opportunity for up to 13 people to holiday together ( sorry groups of more than 13 not accepted)- whilst bedrooms are spread over three cottages the largest cottage has a very spacious open plan living , dining and kitchen area that will accommodate communal dining and a space for all your party to spend time together. SELF CATERING . Located in the heart of Brittany in the village of Gomené, Côtes-D'Armor, all three gites are fully renovated and well appointed traditional Breton stone cottages with features such as exposed stone walls and beams. They are located in a tranquil rural setting but only 3km from the N164 that links quickly and easily to the road network that takes you to all Brittanys sights .
MERLIN COTTAGE is the largest and accomodates up to 7 people. This offers spacious, high quality accommodation consisting of a downstairs large open plan kitchen , dining and living area which is ideal to accomodate all in your party for communal dining and shared time together.A spiral stair case leads to the landing, giving access to three large bedrooms and shower room with WC. The master bedroom, with 4-poster double bed, has views over the courtyard and gardens, the second bedroom has a double bed and wonderful views over fields and the woodlands beyond and the third bedroom has a single and set of single bunks. Both the master and third bedroom overlook the courtyard and gardens.
NIGHTINGALE COTTAGE - offers accomodation for 4 people in 2 bedrooms - with the flexibility of a sofa bed downstairs should a separate bed be required. Downstairs is an open plan kitchen , dining and living area and upstairs the master bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom a set of single bunks. There is a shower and toilet room upstairs.
WREN COTTAGE - is a cute little cottage for two .Downstairs is an open plan kitchen , dining and living area and upstairs an ensuite bedroom with antique french bed.
Beautiful rural setting but accessible from St. Malo and Caen ferries (1h15 and 2h25 respectively) and Dinard and Rennes airports (1h20 and 50 minutes respectively). We are within easy reach of historic towns such as Josselin and Moncontour, Brocéliande the legendary Arthurian forest at Paimpont and beaches are within an hours drive . Ideal location for sightseeing, birdwatching, walking, cycling, or just relaxing. The gites are within the grounds of our former farmhouse and bakery and whilst you will have full access to over an acre of stunning gardens with countryside and forest views and a communal covered BBq and entertainment area , each gite also benefits from its own private seating and BBQ area. Our heated swimming pool is also available for your use (Summer Season Only CLOSED 1st OCTOBER TO MAY ) and if you are taking up all three cottages you have exclusive use of it. The price is inclusive of bed linen and towels for in gite use (swimming pool towels can be hired). Wood burning stove, electric and gas heating. UK and French TV, DVD player and WiFi. THE SWIMMING POOL GARDENS AND GROUNDS
Swim in our pool or relax on the sun loungers. Positioned in the gardens and not overlooked ,the pool benefits from a heat dome that is removable on sunny days but left in place if you are unlucky with the weather so that swimming can continue on less agreeable days. Sun-loungers and pool furniture in place. Open Summer Season Only - from May to end of September subject to water temperatures.
The gite is within the grounds of our former farmhouse and bakery and you will have full access to over an acre of stunning landscaped gardens with countryside and forest views . The grounds are set up for your enjoyment and you are welcome to stay on site all day to take advantage of the facilities if you wish. Your gite benefits from its own private seating and BBQ area but there is also a large covered BBQ and entertainments area in the grounds. Set amongst the boarders, pathways and orchard you will find numerous seating areas, a boule court, swing and slide activity frame , badminton, goal net, and numerous outdoor games are available including table tennis, croquet, darts, skittles and cricket.
If you're looking for a restful place to spend the day or return to at the end of a days sightseeing or activities for a family or larger group we could be the place for you.
We are happy to accommodate you for celebrations but this is not a suitable venue for loud drinking parties and we do not accept bookings for hen /stag parties or similar.

IDEAL FOR LARGE FAMILY GROUPS - We will do our best to accomodate your holiday needs or celebration needs but we are not a suitable location for late night drinking parties and sorry no stag or hen parties. Only those listed on the rental agreement will be allowed to use the cottages , grounds and facilities.
