Large new chalet in the center of Deux Alpes - indoor pool and sauna

Our project to renovate the old Deux Alpes primary school and transform it into a chalet started in 2017. The original building was divided into two adjoining chalets, with each addition of extensions on the ground floor (welcoming garage, living room, sauna and swimming pool) in order to create additional space and comfort for our guests..

- KEY FIGURES:

• NEW CHALET built in 2018, 8 rooms on two floors, living area 250 m2
• IDEALLY LOCATED in the center of Les Deux Alpes resort at the foot of the slopes; ski lifts, ski schools, tourist office, restaurants, shops and supermarket in the immediate vicinity
• 6 BEDROOMS (15 PEOPLE) with adjoining bathroom / WC
• INDOOR heated (private) POOL with sauna / Italian shower
• LARGE private TERRACE facing south
• CLOSED GARAGE for 1 car and room for ski equipment, bikes etc., and 2 private outdoor parking

• KITCHEN: Fully equipped kitchen, underfloor heating
• DINING ROOM: Large wooden table for 16 people, underfloor heating
• LIVING ROOM: 2 leather sofas and armchairs, wood stove, flat screen satellite TV, underfloor heating
• BATHROOMS: 5 en-suite bathrooms, each with shower or bath, sink, and WC
• WCs: 1 additional WC / washbasin in the entrance

We had very good skiing week. Great comfortable chalet near the lifts. Great ski resort with very good off piste opportunities. Nice Apres Ski at Le Diable au coeur. Unfortunately La Grave was closed.

New and warm place

Great facilities. Sauna was nice, pool with different light colors. House was pleasantly warm because of the floor heating. Great place to stay with friends and 3 minutes walking for first ski elevator. Only small suggestions for improvement: dimmable lights and remove the table's cover.

This property is very clean and well maintained. Well equipped. Its location is wonderful central but still maintains privacy. Unfortunately, there is no view from the house itself, but a few steps away and the view will be revealed to your eyes. The pool itself is not really heated but the pool room is warm and cozy so it was not a problem and the pool itself is large. The rooms are a little smaller than expected. Towels are not included in the price. Due to a malfunction the first night we did not receive towels and to the praise of the owner of the property he will say that as compensation he did not charge a fee at all for the towels. I will definitely go back there as soon as possible. Thank you very much.

Feb Half Term

Rented by three families for the Feb half term. Good communication from owner. Very easy check in/out. Chalet is in a great location - right by Champame and Belle Etoille lifts making it easy to get to ski schools or up the mountain avoiding Jandri within 50 metres. Supermarket and ski rental within 100m and bakery next door. Pool is brilliant and bigger than it looks in the pictures. Garage/ski room/ game room is really big - 13 people can get ready at the same time! It took 25 mins for family with kids to walk to a restaurant at the other end of town by Diable so really easy to get around by bus or foot. Only thing to note is that one of the mezzanines is a vertical ladder to climb up so only for agile kids or adults - but not a problem for us - mezzanine beds all full size and could be slept in by adults.

Un très beau chalet neuf et bien entretenu avec toutes les commodités nécessaires pour passer une bon séjour en famille. La piscine est un vrai plus et son accès est sécurisée par une porte déverrouillable par code. Note pour les enfants, la piscine est profonde à 1m50 sans pente, la surveillance d’un adulte est donc indispensable

Nous avons séjourné 1 semaine en famille, de 5 ans à 79 ans. Gîte très agréable, avec une vaste cuisine très bien équipée, une piscine intérieure et un sauna très appréciés en retour de balade. Le gîte est au calme, situé à proximité des remontées du Champaumé et des commerces de la station. Le gîte est adapté aux chiens même s'il n'est pas clos car les départs de balades sont proches. Les prestations sont de belles qualités.
