Awesome place

This place is right in the heart of Grand Haven downtown. A very clean and comfortable place to stay. Love the balcony off the king bedroom and that it is pet friendly! My only complaint again is the shower with the tub, I realize it’s an antique but not my favorite. That being said we this is our second time here, and booked for next year. Leanne is great with great communication. Overall a great place to stay!

Another Wonderful Vacation

This is my second stay here and it was as clean and comfortable as the first time! The location is great and the condo has everything you need for a relaxing visit. Leanne is quick to respond and is a wonderful host. I will be booking again!

We stay here every time we make it to Michigan. The Apartment is a beautifully decorated place with a cozy atmosphere. Food and shops are close by.

Home away from home

As always a great place to stay! We’ve been staying there for over 10 years. Comfortable and inviting. Owner is the best to work with. Access to everything in downtown Grand Haven can’t be beat. We’ll be back again!

Walkable, Central Location

The condo was extremely comfortable for my two week stay in Grand Haven to visit family and friends in the area. I loved being in a central location with the ability to walk just about everywhere! My pup and I enjoyed walks along the boardwalk in the morning, shopping in the many dog friendly shops and all the ice cream (they even had pup cups!). The condo was very clean, easy to access and felt like a home away from home. My family enjoyed visiting and with a second bedroom were able to stay and spend more time.

Awesome place downtown.

A cute little apartment right in the heart of downtown Grand Haven. Our only comment would be the shower, understand it’s an antique, but would have liked a walk in shower, that being said, we still booked again for next year!

Spacious Central Location

The location is tough to beat for this lovely apartment! While it’s located in the heart of downtown, it’s also quite soundproofed so it was a nice, quiet retreat. We enjoyed popping out easily to grab a bite or do a little shopping. The beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchen is stocked with basics, and it was so convenient to have a washer/dryer handy with little kids around. (Tip for parents of babies or young kids: the dryer buzzes loudly to indicate the end of a cycle, so run it when you’re not afraid of waking them :)). The host is kind and accommodating and quick to respond to any messages! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends!

Amazing apartment for getaway.

We Love to stay here. The Apartmentis clean and Safe. It is close to everythingwe wanted to do. Food, Bookstores, shopping, the Light house We and the Fountain. Could not ask for a better host.We will be back in September.

Cozy Holiday

This was the perfect property for my husband and I to stay at while visiting our two sons and their families for our Christmas celebration. It is so cozy and well appointed and amazingly comfortable and clean. The location was magical with all the Christmas lights downtown, and we were able to walk down the street one block for one of the best New Year’s Eves I’ve ever had! the two bedrooms are spacious and quiet. The kitchen as well appointed, and easy to use. And the open floor plan is great. Thank you so much, and will be back soon!

Middle of everything

We try to go to Grand Haven every year and this was easily one of our favorite locations. Loved having a private entrance and unit above the shops. Location was quiet and delightful, but also so centrally located to make it easy to have fun no matter the weather. We had a couple questions along the way, and Leanne was fast to respond and such a delight to work with. We recommend highly.

I have lived near Lake Michigan now for about 30 years, moving hear from Grand Rapids, MI. I find it hard to imagine not being near the beach at this point. Grand Rapids is a nice city but living near the water offers a peace that can't be duplicated, and it's free! My husband has lived his entire life in this area and runs his own company in Muskegon. I am able to do bookkeeping and property management from my home or if lucky enough from a warm sunny spot near our many friends we have acquired in Florida.

In 2000 my husband and I purchased this building on the main street of Downtown Grand Haven so that I could open a boutique and live a personal dream of having my own business. I chose Grand Haven for a few good reasons. 1) It was close to home. 2) Grand Haven was a perfect small town. It had the right mix of people and they loved and supported their town. 3) Grand Haven was my favorite place to spend my free time.
It seemed a perfect spot to build and business and a sense of community. My experience was wonderful and a dream come true. I was welcomed with open arms by locals and other business owners and soon became knitted into the community. This experience has left me only wanting to make it a better place. I no longer run my boutique, I left that behind after
10 years so that my husband and I could travel more freely, mostly in the winter :) but I still own this wonderful property and find Grand Haven a great investment. I rent out the boutique below and the apartment above is still a vacation apartment for guests to enjoy. My husband and I live close by and are very hands on, we think of our apartment as our possible summer home if we ever make the move to become regular snow birds and let go of our own home on the lake. I hope you enjoy our apartment for it was a dream come true for me and will always be a blessing in our lives.

Although I have never made this apartment our home, we have stayed there quite a bit. I think what I love about it is that it has so many conveniences. I love that the businesses Downtown are still family owned and operated. Many of them have raised their families right at work, making all of us extended family. People are friendly and helpful. It is the kind of town that makes you feel safe and cared about. I always meet visitors who are returning because they grew up vacationing in Grand Haven and want to keep the tradition going. Grand Haven is a slice of the American Dream.
