What makes this Villa unique
You will enjoy the quiet and peace, the panoramic views on the landscape. From here you can easily visit charming villages as Bevagna, Montefalco, Spello and many more....cities as Todi, Spoleto, Perugia, Assisi. We suggest to visit the wineries around Montefalco (well known for the production of Sagrantino), the Marmore waterfalls. It's possible to organize cooking lessons directly at the rented villa, hire private chef's, rent bikes & join local tours (visit of local villages and wineries...all by bike), organize visits of local farms.
Canceled bookings will not receive a refund
We rented the property together with two other families (6 adults and 6 children). We enjoyed it !!! Nice pool with nearby bbq. Air conditioning in the whole villa very appreciated seen the hot summer. The property lies at 10 minutes driving from the highway, so it's easy to visit the region and there are many charming villages in the surroundings.
Very friendly and professional owner. We have arranged through them cook for a couple of dinners and bike rental.
Strongly adviced to every one!!!
The property lies 46km from Orvieto and Spoleto, 15km from Todi, 35km from Perugia. 50km from Montefalco (well known for the wineries), 140 kms northern of Rome. Nearest airport is Perugia, only ryanair flights from London and Bruxelles. The airport of Rome is at 180 km (2 h driving).
In Umbria, a region that has gained a name for being the green heart of Italy, tourism is growing because of the unfamiliar harmony between nature, antiquities, historic centres and culture. The quiet of the countryside, good provisions and an inimitable cuisine are the great draw. This region is less touristy than Tuscany and this is especially appreciated by many tourists. It forms an ideal starting point for enjoying the peace of the surrounding hilly and mountainous landscape and on the other hand making trips to beautifull towns like Todi, Orvieto, Narni, Spoleto, Perugia, Gubbio, Assisi. You can also easily visit – in day trips - famous towns and charming villages in the southern part of Tuscany such as Siena, Arezzo, San Giminiano, Pienza, Cortona, Sinalunga, etc. Many tourists visit also Rome from here, without staying in the city which is very hot in summer. It is possible to go by car (journey of 1h-1h30) or by train from the stations of Terni, Narni-Amelia, Orte & Orvieto.
Todi is a lovely town and lies in the middle of Umbria, so it is an eccelent point of departure to visit the whole region. The most beautiful towns of Umbria, such as Orvieto, Spoleto, Perugia and the Trasimeno lake, Assisi are all within 30/50 minutes driving. Furthermore, in the immediate surroundings, there are many old and charming villages to visit as Spello, Norcia, the highlands of Castelluccio, Trevi, Bevagna and Montefalco. Montefalco is also well known also for it vineyards and the production of the Rosso di Montefalco and primarily the Sagrantino wines. We advice to visit one or more winiries in this area. Norhtern Lazio (the Bolsena and Bracciano lakes), Rome and southern Tuscany (Siena, Montepulciano, Cortona, Arezzo) can also be visited from here in day-trips.
