No refund due to freezing weather

My husband and I travel often to the area. We booked this for the first time to visit my mom, who is dying of brain cancer. We were contacted on our drive up by the manager who told us the temperatures were going to be freezing Thanksgiving weekend and she informed us that I’m the heater was not sufficient for such weather. I told her our reasons for booking and asked if they could provide a refund, considering their listing does not specify such issues with heating. She told me no. It’s so sad to me honestly that they wouldn’t provide this to us. She relayed we could book it again instead. I informed her that we couldn’t consider its rolling into winter and that it’s not likely my mom will make it into spring. Anyhow, this is our experience. So we booked the mallard hotel and had a great stay there. We are out the money, but oh well.Policies should be a little more flexible for things such as this. Merry Christmas everyone. This is a time to love more and better.

Tiffany booked a glamping "tent" NOT a cabin. When booking a glamping tent guests have full knowledge and access to all information regarding the tents. The last week of November is the last week of the year that the glamping tents are open until Spring. Tiffany knew that she was taking a chance on booking a canvas tent in the winter time. We did NOT cancel Tiffany's reservation. We offered her the opportunity to reschedule as we knew she would be uncomfortable in a tent at 20 degrees. She declined the offer to reschedule for another time.

Loved staying at the Copper Hill property with Everett and Lesa. Would highly recommend it and would love to come back and visit again in fall

Great property to stay

Dog friendly, owners onsite, wonderful and welcoming we glamped in tent and what you see if exactly what you get we loved it short drive into town close to tubing lots to do and see. We will be going back we loved the welcome pup named rona!

Great stay

Host were outstanding .generouse ,and helpfull..the hostesses played with the kids and took care if any needs .great lodge area .nice fish pond and grounds ..if in area i would come nack again

Perfect getaway

Leesa is amazing, she has thought of everything. The tent was perfect, the bed was comfy and the view was just great!
