Two bedrooms, 1 bath comfortable beach cottage awaits you. Comfort is provided with AC/heating splits in every room. A full-size kitchen with granite counter tops, range w/oven, microwave, ceramic tile floors. There is a king size bed in master, twins in 2nd bedroom. Enjoy the screened in porch while using the gas grill on your large deck. Just steps to the beach! A sand wagon: sand chairs & beach umbrella are provided. Hop onto the Jolley Trolley at the end of the street for a short ride to the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk. And don't forget to bring your dog! Located in the desirable Mariner’s Surfside Cottages community. One off street parking space marked15 B is included. Please bring paper products. A small amount of basic supplies are provided. Please bring king size linens/twin bed linens & bath/beach towels. No long term rentals.

We loved our stay at Sandy Pause! Perfect for a girls weekend, and location was great being just steps to the beach and all the action in Dewey. Would’ve been nice to have a little extra amenities like toilet paper supplied or a heads up to bring our own, other than that our stay was great and I would come back!

We had such a great time!!! The property was great with a hose to rinse off your feet right outside the door which was a huge plus for us. It was so convenient to walk to the beach and to all of Dewey’s attractions, and the included parking spot was such a good plus!

The host was super responsive to questions and concerns. The unit was tastefully decorated and the countertops are gorgeous. I appreciated the beds being high. The twin beds were the perfect height to store luggage under. I think the beds were like sleeping on clouds, which I loved. There aren’t closets but hangers were available, as well as a few furniture pieces to store clothing. The kitchen was equipped with most things you’d need. Nice silverware and dishes that match. The unit seemed to have quality items in my opinion. The screened-in porch was my favorite spot. The floors were nice throughout, too. Maybe a laminate type but really good quality. It felt good under the feet and it was quiet, without echoing. Fantastic location steps from the beach. It rained the whole time we were there but the porch stayed dry. No flooding anywhere near this property. The parking lot could be tight if a few people bring trucks. We didn’t have a problem and the stone lot was pretty cute. Total beach vibes. Overall, a cute place that I could totally live in.

What a great find for our visit to Dewey beach! The cottage is very clean and comfortable and the location can’t be beat! Very close to the beach and many restaurants and shops. We really appreciated having the beach wagon, chairs, and umbrella and the reserved parking space is a great perk. Karen is a great host- proactive in communication and responsive to any questions we had. We will be back!

Wonderful dog friendly beach cottage

Wonderful dog friendly beach cottage that is just steps to the ocean. Screened porch was such a bonus, where you can smell and hear the ocean. Had a wonderful time and looking forward to retuning next year :)
