Great apartment for large groups & families. Sleeps 10. Wonderful views.

Mountain Views Holiday Apartment is located in the beautiful town of Matten, under 15 minutes walk (or a 3 minute bus ride" from Interlaken and the Interlaken train stations.

The apartment was renovated in June 2015 and is split on the 1st and 2nd floor and is beautifully designed. Fantastic location with a good sized supermarket, restaurants and bars all within 4 minutes walk . There is parking for 3 cars.

The first floor has a large balcony with spacious seating for 6 and breathtaking views, next to this is a stunning dining room with seating for 12, opposite the dining room is a fully equipped kitchen and next door to this is a full bathroom. There is sleeping for 5 on the 1st Floor.

"Pine Room" Double and Single bed.
"Bunk Bed Room" one adult sized bunk bed.

As you enter the 2nd Floor there is a brand new full bathroom, large social lounge area with reading seats, TV, DVD player and Playstation II. The large grey sofa can be made into a massive comfortable sofabed. There is sleeping for 7 on the 2nd Floor.

Overall it was a great stay. Location is good. Bus service available from Interlaken OST and West. Walkable as well - takes 12-15 mins only. Very clean and fully equipped property. Juliet is a great host, very explicit instructions to access the property.

Wonderful break

A very well equipped, clean house with a fantastic host. Good to host a group of 8-10. Wonderful views of the mountain and close enough to Interlaken OST station, shops & restaurants. Only downside is the house is opposite a clock tower which rings every 15 minutes, even through the night.

Great home and location!

Everything about this home is as advertised! Great location (with a car — 25 min to Grindelwald, 25 min to Lauterbrunnen, 5 min to Interlaken city center). The house itself is great, everything in top condition and very clean and comfortable. Great communication and information at all times from Juliet. All in all a 5 star experience! Would stay here again!

Beautiful home with a great host!

This apartment is located on a quiet, cute street in Interlaken, and had everything we needed for our group of friends. We used this as a launching pad for many visits in the area (Jungfraujoch, Zermatt, etc.) over the weekend, and made some great memories in the home. Juliet was an incredibly helpful, communicate host and we would happily stay again if we ever make it out to Interlaken. 5 stars!

The Alps set a stunning background for our morning and evening views from the balcony porch and bedroom windows. Juliette is a wonderful host. Everything needed for our family of 12 was provided. During our monthlong stay she was always helpful, never intrusive. This VRBO was appropriately priced.

First time at Switzerland

The place suits our group of 7. The only concern was it was close school, and the bell keeps ringing every 15 minutes. Half of our group is light sleeper, and they can't get their sleep. We appreciate the information about not buying bottled water and we can refill our tumbler daily at home.

Great location

Lovely apartment with view of the mountains. Extremely clean. Wonderful outdoor deck to sit and view the mountains. Easy walk to and from the train or a simple bus ride. We jumped on and off busses and walked all over the city. We got such a nice sense of the local community by staying in this apartment. There is an elementary school across the street, and we loved watching the kids come and go from school. Juliette was a wonderful host. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Interlaken.

Superb Apartment and Great Location!

Our stay at Mountain View Apartment in Interlaken was just superb! Juliet was an excellent host and was quick to respond to any communication. The apartment easily accommodated our group of 7 teens and adults and there was plenty of space for all our needs. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a meal. There was more than enough hot water for the group when it came to bath/shower time and the heating was very good on cold January nights. The location was also great. Mountain Views is about a 15 minute walk to the Interlaken city center but several bus lines stop about 5 minutes from the apartment and go all over town if you aren't up for walking. There is a CoOp grocery story about 5 minutes away and there are several good restaurants 5 minutes away as well (Restaurant Laterne is the fantastic!). The Interlaken Ost train station is about a 12 minute flat walk to the apartment, which we made twice a day during our stay. We came in via train and our group had a lot of luggage, but it was an easy walk with our bags from the train station to the Apartment, even for my 70-year-old parents. We all loved our stay at Mountain Views and would definitely stay there again if we ever return to Interlaken. Juliet has a gem of a place, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Amazing!

I went here with my close friends and the place was amazing. So clean and in a perfect location. The views were beautiful, communication with the host was so easy, and staying in this apartment made our trip so enjoyable. Would highly recommend!

Quiet with views

Great place for quiet if you like to cook own meals and just hang with friends/family. We spent most of our time on the covered porch grilling, talking, eating and watching the people bicycle by. Not mentioned: this property is directly across the the street from a school. The bell tower chimes every fifteen minutes, day and night. It may take an extra couple of nights to get used to that while you sleep.

Hubsches Haus an optimaler Lage

Wir haben unsere Familienferien (9 Erwachsene, 2 Kleinkinder) sehr genossen. Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt, zwischen den Seen, in Reichweite zu Fuss sind Mistery-Park, Harder Kulm und die beiden Seen. Wir hätten locker noch eine Woche bleiben können, wenn die Ferien nicht vorbei gewesen wären...

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Apartment, mit viel Platz und ruhiger Lage.

Von der Buchung bis zum Check-out immer direkte und angenehme Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin. In 20 Min. Entfernung gelegen könnte man fußläufig Geschäfte und Restaurants erreichen. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Great Family Friendly Stay

Property was perfect for the family with all facilities needed, including provision of high chair and games for the little ones. The Owner was available when needed, but was in no way intrusive. Location was walking distance to nice restaurants we loved Tenne.
