Welcome to our beautiful and comfortable home in the heart of La Quinta!
Our house is close to so much that the desert communities have to offer: Indian Wells Tennis, world class hiking, golf, shopping and restaurants, all the activities of the desert/Palm Springs. With 300+ days of sunshine every year you can explore the beautiful scenery of the area.

We are committed to following rules and regulations from the City of La Quinta and keeping everyone happy and safe.
We have implemented extra cleaning protocol and have additional soap and disinfecting wipes in the home.

A new regulation has been implemented within the City of La Quinta:
*no sound amplification is allowed outside any short-term rental property. This includes radio, musical instruments, CD or DVD player, phone or any machine, device or equipment. No excessive noise that disturbs the peace and quiet of any neighborhood is allowed. This applies to all short-term rentals within the City of La Quinta.

Our home is located in a residential neighborhood which is quiet, calm and peaceful. Our neighbors expect that quiet and peacefulness. If your group is loud, our neighbors will (and have) call the La Quinta Noise Complaint Line and you may incur a fine and be evicted. Please don't let this happen!
Quiet time is 10:00pm - 7:00am. This is not a party house. If you want to party, please do not book this location. If you want a beautiful house, a pretty pool and garden to relax and spend special time in, you are at the right place.

The house has cozy furnishings, good appliances in the kitchen, Weber BBQ on the patio, comfortable beds. It is our vacation home too, so we have everything at the house that we like and need for a relaxing get-away.

The private garden backyard is perfect to hang out and relax with the shaded dining area with teak table & chairs, sunny pool and hot tub with lounge chairs and lush garden. Quiet and peaceful. Hummingbirds visit us daily.

The house feels so spacious with cathedral ceilings in the great room. Comfortable furnishings make it easy to relax while watching the 65" flat screen, smart TV. The fully equipped kitchen is available to create meals. The large dining table can seat everyone for both meals and evening games. There is also a poker table with all the fixings!
There are security cameras outside, a Ring doorbell system and Nest thermostat.
The master bedroom, with a California King Bed, is a calm oasis with sliding glass doors to the backyard. The master bathroom has a rain shower surrounded by glass blocks. All bedrooms have 55" flat-screen smart TVs.
The second & third bedrooms have comfortable Queen beds.
The laundry room is equipped with no full-size washer & dryer for your use.
California shutters throughout the house keep it cool during the hot seasons.

Our desert home is our special home-away-from-home. Comfortable and relaxing. The perfect place to get away.

The house is very clean and in good condition. The outdoor space is beautiful with lots of seating options. We enjoyed the hot tub but did not use the pool. The owners are very responsive and available for any questions. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and met several friendly neighbors. We would love to stay at this property again.

The property was very nice, well maintained and in a nice quiet neighborhood. The only thing I would have liked is to be able to control the thermostat. Other than that we had a great stay, had everything we needed.

When you just need to get away...

While the house is exactly what we were looking for, the cleaning crew should be a little more detail oriented during this Covid time. Hand smudges on the refrigerator and sliding glass doors to the outside made me a little worried. And a lack of towels for bathing was a little annoying but all in all it was a wonderful vacation with my Hubby. Thank you Kathryn

Quality Stay and Good Value

We've stayed in La Quinta rentals each December for the past 5 years, and this was a very pleasant house. It wasn't the most high-end place we have stayed in, but it combines a great space with very good value. While it looks fairly "normal" from the curb, it has great amenities inside, plus the pool and spa in the backyard. We usually cook almost all our meals on these stays, and the kitchen had almost everything we needed. We made heavy use of the fireplace and the lovely master rain shower. The location is quite convenient to all of the stores along Hwy 111. Kathryn, the host, was super responsive and communicative -- high marks for that. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Pool and hot tub excellent, many hours of fun... Well stocked kitchen and nice bbq......So good we ate every meal but 1 in for 21 days, Games table kept 4-60plus entertained most evenings... We felt comforted by good security system on property Home very spacious with three big exits to back yard.... Lots of windows to let in that California sky.... Kathryn and Jim so accomodating we felt totally pampered.... Thanks Folks

Why they chose this property

Our vacation home is set up for relaxing and enjoying the desert weather. The backyard is a beautiful oasis to enjoy! We have recently updated the pool with new heater, equipment, and tiling. There are 4 lounge chairs to relax in, adirondack chairs to sit in the sun, the pool to splash in, the hot tub to melt in, a teak dining table with 6 chairs under the shaded cover, to eat, drink and enjoy.
So close to everything: Indian Wells Tennis Garden, Old Town La Quinta with some amazing restaurants and shopping, World-class Hiking, Golf Courses everywhere, Joshua Tree National Park, Palm Springs is a short drive away....
Please note that we are in a residential area that is peaceful and quiet. This is NOT a party house. We respect our neighbors and expect our guests to too. Quiet time outdoors is 10pm-7am. There are Noise by-laws in La Quinta and we need to abide by them. If you are looking for a beautiful house to relax in, float in the pool, enjoy a hot tub and let the outside world stay away, then this is perfect. We ask for no parties, no music outdoors and no outside noise after 10pm.

What makes this property unique

Everything you want in a home is there for you to use and enjoy. Fully stocked kitchen, beautiful large dining table with 8 chairs, comfortable couch & chairs to watch the large-screen tv. The backyard is a peaceful garden, perfect for relaxing or sharing with friends. So many activities to do in the Coachella Valley, or do nothing at the home and hang by the pool.
