Lovely property, exactly as listed. Warm and comfortable. The considerable cleaning charge was a bit steep especially as you are required to dispose of all recyclables and refuse yourself.
We had a great stay and managed the short walk to the piste without problems but beginners would definitely need to drive or get the bus.

Hi We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! . All rubbish and recyclables are easily disposed of on the road leading to the apartment in large municiple bins that you pass past every day. This is the system in the alps, rather then collections from each and every place , very difficult when there is heavy snow for the trucks .
Fabulous accommodation, perfect for 2 families of 4, the children really enjoyed their own space and made the most of the snug area. Apartment was furnished to an excellent standard. Hosts were always available to answer any questions.

chalet de grande qualité, mais environnement dangereux et location payable en livres anglaises!
Le chalet est confortable, clair, très bien équipé, décoré avec charme. Il comporte 2 étages réunis par un escalier raide.Le chalet est éloigné de la station. Pour rejoindre les pistes, il faut parcourir un chemin non entretenu et verglacé (chutes fréquentes) puis 100 m de route.Pour rejoindre la station et les cours de ski des enfants, on doit parcourir le chemin, puis la route, couper une piste bleue et enfin prendre les œufs qui descendent au cœur de la station.Sinon on peut prendre une navette, mais qui n'évite pas le chemin.
Enfin la location se fait en livres anglaises. Ceci entraine un surcoût (taux de change et frais bancaires soit un surcoût de 16%) Tout ceci est très dommage, alors que le chalet est agréable, et les propriétaires charmantes, accueillantes et très à l'écoute. Nous recommandons ce chalet pour des randonnées en été, mais pas pour le ski en hiver.

Merci pour votre commentaire et pour vos appreciations sur nos services et sur l'appartement en lui meme.
Nous regrettons que votre femme ai eu un accident sur les routes verglacées de montagne. La presence de neige et verglas en montagne est normale et nous conseillons a tous nos clients d'avoir les équipements appropriés. Nous sommes navres de ne pas vous avoir rappeler d'etre prudents et de mettre des chaussures adaptées.
Il y a moins de 300m etre le chalet et les pistes et cette route est une voie publique utilisée tous les jours par les residents et en bon état. Votre commentaire sera toute fois rapporté au syndic.
Pour ce qui est du paiement en Livres Sterling, ceci est bien au de la de notre control, ces paramètres étant fixés par la plateforme de reservation, nous pouvons cependant tout a fait prendre des paiements en Euros par virement bancaire pour les clients qui le souhaitent.
L' appartement est très populaire en été comme en hiver, de par son arrangement et emplacement, et nous sommes encore une fois navrés que votre experience ai été souillée par de malencontreux événements.

Lieu chaleureux et comtemporain
Hébergement parfait pour une grande famille, très bien entretenu et moderne.
Nous étions 7 adultes et 1 enfant et nous nous sommes merveilleusement bien senti dans cet appartement.
Toutes les chambres sont spacieuse et la salle à manger est très convivial avec une très belle vue sur la vallée.
La cuisine est parfaitement équipée ( réchaud à fondue, appareil à raclette, de nombreux plats pour cuisiner...)
Tous ces atouts font le charme de cet appartement qui vous permet de vous sentir chez soi !
J'ajoute également que la localisation de l'appartement n'est en rien une difficulté car à l'écart de la route passante et du centre ville vous êtes à 5min à pied du télécabine qui vous permet de relier le centre de La Clusaz gratuitement = un vrai plus ! (la montée est de 4€)
Nous reviendrons avec joie dans cet appartement qui est une belle découverte et un grand merci à Claude et Michelle qui ont toujours été réactive selon nos besoins.

Great place, great times, great memories
Just a stones throw from skiing and with spectacular mountain views from the balcony, this is a fantastic place to stay. Whether it is for a couple of people or for nine, you could not find a better chalet

Lovely chalet! Great location, well equipped and clean, helpful and friendly hosts!
We stayed in this chalet over Christmas and had a great time. The communal areas are great for big dinners and the chalet is really close to the lift to the village which is very handy. We have visited La Clusaz many times and would recommend this place!

Great family holiday.
This is a great apartment for an extended family holiday with the accommodation spread over two floors. It's warm and inviting after a long day skiing.
The piste is only minutes away for the enthusiastic skiers and includes gondola access to the village for the walkers.
Two lovely restaurants also within walking distance - including (obviously) on-piste prices.

Lovely apartment: clean & spacious. Great location for access to slopes.
We really enjoyed our stay at Chalet Farapreu. Michelle gave us a warm welcome & lots of useful tips about the skiing and the area in general. All facilities were clean & well-maintained. Only one parking place is available but we had 2 cars. This didn't present a problem as there was parking nearby.

On the first floor are 2 bedrooms (one double and one twin room) sharing an ensuite shower room and both with storage spaces. The corridor leads to a spacious and bright lounge with a high ceiling, a large dining table and some cosy leather armchairs. An "american" bar opens up to the newly refurbished kitchen. On this floor is another shower room, separate toilet, washing machine and storage cupboard for ski boots. On the second floor is a cosy lounge/ TV area with large comfy sofas surrounding the fireplace and a library corner. The corridor leads to 3 further sleeping areas (1 bunk bed, 1 double room, 1 single room), a bathroom with bath and separate toilet. The apartment also benefits from a ski locker and 1 private parking space out front.
The Apartment is a 5 minutes drive to La Clusaz village. You can walk (or ski) to the closest piste at Cret du Merle which is 200m away down the road and straight onto the piste. A walk into the village of La Clusaz is 20mn walking down the road. There is a bus stop opposite the road to the apartment or at the bottom of the road where they stop more frequently.
