Mountain Getaway

The cabin was PERFECT for six couples getting away for the weekend. The road getting to the top is sketchy toward the top but that was the only (very) minor setback. This is a great place to stay.

Nice property close to Garlinburg

Was a great property. Close to Gatlinburg but not in the thick of it. Great views. Owners were extremely responsive. Lots of communication. I definitely recommend these hosts and property.

Wonderful Cabin!!

I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at Mountain Haven. There were 12 in our family group, including 2 children and everyone was very pleased with the cabin. Air hockey was a favorite passtime, as well as the arcade game and pool table. We also enjoyed visits to our mountain top by a couple of bears, never threating, as we kept our distance, but loved the picture taking. The views were phenomenal. We hope to return again next year.

Great stay in Gatlinburg

We had a great stay, the house is huge, all bedrooms have king size beds and separate bathrooms. Really well equipped, it had everything we needed. Beautiful view from the decks and great location for exploring the local area. Will stay here again if traveling back to the area with a big group.

Beautiful View and Large Enough for the Whole Family

We have rented quite a few VRBOs over the years. This one is great for a family reunion. The view from the porch is wonderful. We saw bears every day of our stay. I view that as a good thing. Watching all the bats from the porch in the evening was fun too. It was nice that we were so close to Gatlinburg and great trails in the park. We noticed a few minor wear and tear items that needed to be addressed and the owner was quick to respond and address them. I'd recommend this property. For a large group, it would be hard to beat in Gatlinburg at this price.

Beautiful views

The property has beautiful views and the home is exactly as listed. There were only 4 rockers on the balcony on the main level. Perhaps a couple of more so the views can be enjoyed by all would be a plus. Any issues we had were addressed by the owners.

Girls trip

Our first ever “girls trip” was a success. The cabin was beautiful and exactly as described. We had so much fun playing all the games and using the hot tub. Everything was in perfect condition. The location was perfect as well. There was only a short drive to pigeon forge and Gatlinburg alike. We loved our girls trip. Thank you.

Amazing!

Absolutely 5 out of 5 stars! Our family truly enjoyed this gorgeous cabin with endless views. Markus and Annie were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Very accommodating and responsive :) No issues whatsoever. Thank you for a hosting our winter family vacation! We will certainly be back.

Perfect Cabin for our stay

We had great time at your Cabin for last few days. It's a very neat and clean cabin with all the amenities and gorgeous views of beautiful mountains. Six bedrooms with king beds and individual baths were perfect for our group of six couples.Markus was very responsive for any questions and requests from us. Overall, we all were very happy and will return again.

Perfection

This cabin was a perfect fit for our family. We have never stayed anywhere with a better stocked kitchen. There was so much to entertain us in the cabin, that many of us never left for the entire stay. We were able to watch bears wrestling and playing in the backyard too. The instruments added that extra touch of fun for us all!

Rocking and loving the views!

This house is perfect for a large group! We loved the spectacular views from the porch and rocking chairs. The kitchen was very well equipped and the dining room table could seat all 11 of us for dinner. The fact that each bedroom had a bathroom was really great for getting everyone up and out of the house for the daily hikes. We enjoyed a few visits from some local bears, too. Marcus was very responsive and a a great host. Can’t say enough great things about this property!

Perfect for a large group

The views off the back porch are beautiful. I think Mt. LeConte was directly in the center of the range. Location is quiet. The cabin was very well appointed with most everything needed. There was a shortage of serving dishes, and the lower cabinets where other small appliances were located were messy, but that is because of careless renters who just throw things back in any which way they can. The beds were very comfortable, and there were plenty of towels both in the bathrooms and for the kitchen. Lots of room to spread out on all three levels and comfy furniture. The grill could use replacing. Aside from a couple of minor things that we were able to resolve with the owner who is very responsive, this is a great cabin and all our family were very happy with it. We would all recommend it for large gatherings. It was nice to have King beds in all the bedrooms, along with private baths so everyone stayed happy!

Cabin was absolutely amazing

We came for family vacation and it was the most beautiful cabin ever. The owners were very nice and answered any questions we had Beautiful views. We loved everything about the cabin Close to everything. Will definitely rent again

Amazing Stay

This was our first trip to the mountains since the Pandemic, so we were all excited and prayerful that this property would be just as amazing as the ones at which we had previously stayed. The road to this property was a little unnerving, since there were a few sharp hairpin turns. After that, however, we arrived at one of the best vacation rentals at which we have ever stayed. Everything was picture perfect. The property was clean, well-decorated, spacious and it felt like "home." Amazing views! A plus: Everything worked. The management was great and quick to respond to all calls. Markus even called the day after our arrival to make sure all was well. He encouraged us to call if we needed anything. Thank you, Markus.

We are most at home, where we have access to the great outdoors – whether hiking, skiing, or otherwise enjoying both new and familiar places. We're just average folks who enjoy relaxing between the hectic days of work and would like to share our vacation home experience with others.

We both love the mountains and saw an amazing opportunity to own a great newly built property in an area we love. This cabin offers large open spaces for friends and family while still offering privacy with amazing views. I immediately fell in love with the cabin feel of this home and its views. We both saw a lot of potential in the property for family and friend gatherings. Whether it's a girls' weekend away, a guys' poker night, or a family get-together, this property works for all. The game room appeals to all ages and promises enjoyment even during periods of inclement weather.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Our cabin has a wonderful open floor plan which allows for fun evenings spent around the kitchen or just lounging in the large living area. The house is laid out in such a way as to provide plenty of space for everyone to spread out and do their own thing. For your musical evenings, there is a piano, guitar, banjo, and two ukuleles for your use (or why not take the chance to learn an instrument!). Send the kids down to the game room for some fun while the adults relax in the rockers or in the hot tub on one of the three decks. The size of the property also allows for peace and quiet when you retire to your bedroom while others continue to enjoy the features of the property. No need for anyone to wake up before they're ready.

This cabin is in an ideal location for ease of access to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, or multiple entrances to the Smoky Mountain National Park.

Did we mention the views! You have unobstructed views from any of the three decks of Mt. LeConte and the Smoky Mountains. You can even see downtown Gatlinburg.
