Cozy private Cabin in the hills of Ellicottville

Our Cabin is a cozy home nestled in the hills of Ellicottville, and the perfect all-season destination. Bike, hike, golf, ski, or just relax. Located on 10 wooded acres, with amazing views of the hills, you can sleep up to 8 comfortably in our 2+ bedroom, 2 bathroom chalet. Just a 7 minute drive to the heart of EVL, you can enjoy all the town has to offer, or hang out on the porch and enjoy the views. Just minutes down the road to the Holiday Valley, Ellicottville Rodeo & Nightmare Hay Ride.

Situated on 10 wooded acres, our Cabin gives you the calm of the country with the spectacular views from of the valley. Cozy up to the gas fireplace with live-edge mantle after a day of outdoor fun. Or sit around the outdoor firepit in the Adirondack chairs and enjoy the starlit sky. The private master bedroom suite has a plush queen bed, private full bathroom, and a sliding glass door that opens toward the spectacular views. The loft bedroom has a comfortable full size bed, and the loft open space has a queen bed, a twin-over-full bunk bed, and the best views in the cottage. The newly remodeled kitchen is bright and clean, and stocked with all the amenities you need. Enjoy your meals together at the dining table off the kitchen, or at the tables on the large deck. We have the internet and WiFi, but we also have the house stocked with games, puzzles, and DVD's to keep everyone entertained "offline."

You'll have the entire house to yourself, with access to all 10 acres of the property. There's also a washer and dryer you can use if needed.

This is not the right place to have a party or a wild weekend. Our home is in a relatively quiet part of Ellicottville, off the beaten path. But we do have neighbors, and they enjoy the peace and quiet, which we ask you to respect (and to also enjoy).

Loud noise/music outdoors prohibited after 10pm (casual conversation totally OK). Noise travels in the country and my neighbors don't appreciate it.
No fireworks of any kind. We have a fire pit that can be used if you want to bring wood (or find sticks in the woods).
The house uses a septic system. Please do not flush anything down the toilets other than toilet paper.

Enjoyed the Comfy Cozy Cottage

We had a great snowy weekend of skiing. The BBQ, gas fireplace and comfortable furniture made for a fun apres ski experience. The outdoor fire pit and view across the valley on a snowy afternoon were a bonus.

Great getaway weekend house

A nice, secluded property close to EVL. Updated kitchen was great to cook in and the chairs around the fire pit were very comfortable. Communication with manager couldn't have been better! 10/10 would stay again.

Nice home on a hill

Nice modern home on a hill and surrounded by woods. Beautiful view from the large front porch. Quiet location. Plenty of windows to open at night for a nice breeze.

A wonderful stay!

We were very pleased by the location of the place we stayed at. The wonderful fresh air and scenic forests and view were very relaxing. Our sons had an amazing time playing frisbee on the lawn. The house was well equipped, the mattresses were very comfortable, and the silence during the night gave us all the best sleep we’ve had in a long while! Definitely recommend this little slice of heaven to anyone wishing to get away from the noise of the city and would love to come back to it again!

Family get away

Nice property. Well take care of. A bit too warm for us. We would go in Fall next time. House did not have AC just fans. If your family does not mind the heat then it would be perfect for you.

Lovely cabin with short drive to downtown Ellicottville

Beautiful cabin with nice amenities, plenty of towels and pantry items. We really enjoyed the gorgeous gas fireplace and spacious bathrooms for our two nights in the area. The loft is nice for sleeping and viewing the fire burning downstairs, but prior to our stay vacuuming had been neglected throughout the entire upstairs. Guests are required to complete a somewhat lengthy list of chores at checkout.

The property had a nice layout and worked well for our family. When we arrived there were mouse droppings on the bed, AC was cumbersome to set up in the heat. Grill ran out of fuel. But we liked house.

Great Summer Stay at the Chalet

The property was exactly as listed. Clean and organized. It was quite warm during our stay. Our host contacted us proactively and asked if he could bring some fans by to help with the temperature. Fantastic service and well appreciated. Grab this place - you will be happy you did.

Winter wonderland

Nestled on a wooded hilltop, the views are gorgeous. Our two families met up for a long weekend of skiing and snow fun (8 ppl). Bob provided adequate directions for our vacation to start without a hitch! Kids (10-13) went sledding and played in the snow, explored the woods out back and there was a fire pit outside to warm up to during the snow storm. The home was clean and inviting. The 2nd private bed in the upstairs bedroom was a little short but fine for a long weekend stay. Both bathrooms are on 1st level. One bedroom on first level, other bedroom and loft on second floor up a spiral staircase. Only a 5 minute ride into downtown Ellicotville with beautiful scenery on the way. Would recommend staying here.

Perfect little chalet for a family ski trip

We were in Ellicottville for a family ski trip, and this chalet was in the ideal location for us. It offered all the benefits of being in the country/woods without feeling too remote. It is a very short drive to downtown Ellicottville and all it offers, including Holiday Valley Ski Resort. It is also particularly close to Holiday Valley Tubing Company if you also plan to do some snow tubing. Perched on a hillside, the house offers beautiful views from the living room and kitchen of the opposite field and forest, and we enjoyed watching the deer at dawn and dusk. The chalet was clean and charmingly decorated, and the kitchen was well accommodated. Every essential detail (and more) was covered, and we found this to be a very comfortable, cozy place when we weren't on the slopes. Our two children loved the bunkbeds in the loft, and it was very convenient to have a master bath just off the main bedroom downstairs that we did not need to share with the children. All in all, it's a lovely place, and we found Bob to be a clear, friendly, and responsive communicator. We hope to return again.

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

GREAT HOUSE!! I was looking to spend a relaxing weekend in Ellicottville and this property perfectly fit the bill. The check-in and check-out process was clear and easy. I appreciated the location right outside of the village and the views from the deck and house are spectacular. The house is only 7 minutes from the center of the village but feels wonderfully remote, especially at night when every star is perfectly visible on a clear night. The homeowner was easy to work with and the house has all the comforts of home as well as a well stocked kitchen. The renovated kitchen overlooks the dining and living rooms and is open concept. Most of the sleeping areas are in the loft above the kitchen and the master suite area is separated from the main living area by a hallway and laundry room which was really nice. The house was super clean and comfortable from the moment you walk in the door. If you are looking for a place to hit the reset button, this house should be on your short list. I would happily stay again and may, when I look into returning to the area this winter.

Great view and perfect location!

Bob's house was very nice and offered us a good place to stay to accomplish many bucket list items we've been looking to do in upper New York. The town of Ellicottville is 5 miles and offers many shops, great dining, and a grocery store which was very nice for our stay. From the house we traveled to Niagara Falls for a day and rode the maid of the mist which was amazing. We then went to Letchworth State Park which is honestly one of the most beautiful state parks I've ever been to. There was a ton to do there including an Autism Nature Trail that we enjoyed with our youngest who is on the spectrum. We also spent a couple days at Alleghany National Forest and Alleghany State Park which are just beautiful. I would recommend hitting up Jake's Rocks and spending a day at Kinzua Beach which were just amazing. We also drove out to Erie PA and enjoyed Presque Isle which was also super fun as we rented kayaks and some canoes. These trips from the house do take between 45 mins and 1.5 hours by car but all were well worth it. Back to the house though, it offered all the amenities we needed and provided a really nice place to come home to after some very long days. Some days we didn't get back until 11pm and even though it's pretty remote it wasn't scary or anything like that. I would recommend Bob's place for anyone looking to get out and explore upper New York! Don't afraid of a little drive and enjoy nature! -The Franklin Family

This was our second stay here and we left this cabin with the desire to return again. The cabin was very clean, aesthetically pleasing, and comforting. In the face of the grand blizzard that recently swept through the region, the cabin proved itself to be a very cozy and comforting environment for us.

Fall Fest Getaway

This was our 2nd stay at the Cloud-Pine Chalet. This is the perfect location if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway. The chalet is extremely clean & has every amenity needed for a comfortable stay. Robert is very hospitable & accommodating. I would highly recommend booking a getaway here.
