Quiet retreat, valley views, zoned heating and cooling fire pit and new deck!

The views are incredible and our home is close to all the skiing, hiking, biking, golfing, dining, shopping and entertainment! Stay for one of EVL's fun event weekends or stay for an extended ski retreat. We're family and dog friendly!
About 8 minutes to holiday valley, 5 minutes to Holiday Valley Tubing, 9 minutes to the Holiday Valley golf course, 13 minutes to Pumpkinville, and 20 minutes to Allegany State Park.
Our home is set right into the hill side with a perfect view of the valley and Holiday Valley slopes. A wrap around deck allows you to get the most out of the views. Please note that there are 13 stairs (interior) to access the main floor.

We have an exterior 15 amp 110 outlet for charging your EV.

The upstairs bedrooms have nightstands and dressers as well as ceiling fans. Note: these bedrooms have wall outlets that are controlled by the switch. The upper outlet is controlled by the switch and the lower outlet has constant power (just so you plug your phone into the right outlet.)

The lower bedroom/ living space has a twin over twin bunk and full over full bunk bed. This space has a dedicated heating unit. There is also a fireplace that runs on propane.

We are on well water and have a brand new water softening/filtration system so the water is safe to drink. Washer and dryer are located in basement.

There are two parking spots in front of the garage and a turn around at the top of the driveway. Plenty of off street parking.

WiFi is now up and running!

Great location, dog friendly, great views!

This was the perfect spot for our family of 4 our dog. The host was responsive, the home was very clean & comfortable. The location is great, it was far enough out of town to feel private with great views, but close enough to town to be convenient. It’s less than 10 minutes to town and very easy to navigate! You enter on the basement level and the stairs up to the main level are very steep, so maybe not ideal if someone in your group has mobility issues, but it was totally fine for us. We were there in winter so couldn’t use the new deck but it looks gorgeous & we would have definitely used it if it wasn’t covered in snow!

Beautiful spot, clean and comfortable home

My family and I visited the area for a last minute weekend away and campus visit in Buffalo. The location worked great - easy drive to Buffalo and Niagara Falls but a quiet, rural location near Ellicotville. The house met our needs perfectly. My kids enjoyed the bunk beds and space to hang out on the lower level, and my husband and I appreciated the quiet space upstairs. The beds were clean and comfortable, kitchen space stocked for all our needs, and the house was clean and ready for us. Check out was simple. The host communicated well about the house rules and locations of everything. We loved the quiet rural location and the sunrise off the deck , looking down into the valley, was beautiful. We appreciated the pet friendly home, which is not always easy to find! Overall a great stay, would highly recommend.

Quick ski weekend

This property was perfect for two families of 4. The kids enjoyed having their own space with two sets of bunk beds and the open space on the main floor was great for gathering, meals, and games. It was a quick 10 minute drive to the slopes and made for an excellent place to stay for our quick trip. Communication from the owner was very clear and we had no issues.

Very roomy, clean and well laid out. Could use a few more hooks etc for towels. Property is out in the country but only about 3-4 minutes from town and 10 minutes or less to the ski area.

Perfect long weekend

The set up of this house was perfect for my family. It was so close to the slopes and great restaurants. It was great to have the driveway plowed too!

Quiet retreat

Only little thing I noticed was that there were only plastic bowls to eat out of. I prefer normal dishes for adults.

Ski trip

Great Location for Ski Weekend

We had a great trip to Ellicottville. The house was great and close to Holiday Valley. We could even see the hill from the porch of the house. Perfect for a weekend ski getaway.

Great VRBO stay

This property was the perfect home base for our family ski weekend. Everything was as advertised. For us it was the perfect location: less than 10 minutes to the ski resort, yet still away from everything. We will stay again.

Absolutely Stunning Location!

I can’t say enough how much my family and I enjoyed our annual trip to Ellicottville and staying in this beautiful home. The views were absolutely breathtaking, there is an expansive outdoor property that our children spent hours playing in, and the home was meticulously clean. We felt so at ease and so comfortable in this house we are already planning our next stay!!

Our weekend in Ellicottville was fantastic. We especially enjoyed our time at our rental home. Our hosts thought of everything, even a stash of incidentals to save forgetful guests. We can’t wait to go back!

We love our quiet retreat because it is just that, quiet! It's very close to downtown Ellicottville so we don't miss a thing while still being able to escape. The view is unbeatable and we love the quaint, coziness of the the interior. Our boys love the double bunk beds so no one has to fight over the top bunk. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
