The house sits in one of the coziest and most convenient neighborhoods in all of Houston. A 32 acre park is next door and a 15 minute drive gets you to most inner loop destinations, including, Texas Medical Center, Downtown, Uptown, and Energy Corridor.

This neighborhood is prized for it's convenient location and laid back vibe. For being so close to a major city, it's surprising how much you feel like you are in a small town. Neighbors walking around and waving make you feel invited and welcome. Not good

Everything was decent but not great. Courtney was slow to communicate throughout the process. I never received my check in info until after I was able to check in. The house was clean but there were ants and bugs in the kitchen. The house is very minimally stocked, The shower water pressure was no more than a trickle and the TV in the bedroom had the wrong remote in it. Also, the trash can was out at the street but over on the neighbors side and when I reached out to question if that's where the trash needed to go, I got a response 4 hrs later. By then I was already at the Airport. I originally booked for 4 days but had a family emergency so I had to fly back home after 1 night and she would not entertain any kind of refund at all. Said I needed to reach out to VRBO. I will not be staying here again. it

Weekend stay

House was clean except for outdoor patio. Main problem was lack of washcloths, only 2 in entire house. Also every towel had rips and tears

Nice Stay

A nice house that overall satisfied our needs. Great quiet neighborhood next to a fun park, really good getaway from the hustle and bustle of Houston. Enjoyed the outside area a lot, it's great for couples and families with children and or dogs. The shower mat was the only downside for me, otherwise the house was clean and nice.

We are avid travelers and love to stay local in VRBO rentals. We love the freedom a short term rental gives us. Many times we will cook breakfast in the morning and eat at a local spot for lunch and grill out in the afternoons. We find this gives us maximum time for exploring the city we came to visit. It also allows us to save money. We have two small kids and a beautiful Shiba Inu puppy that we travel with so we look for small houses that are well equipped to comfortably handle the whole family. Our favorite destinations are Southern food meccas and tropical paradises.

Why they chose this property

This property is exactly what we would expect when we travel with our family or friends. We look for plenty of space and comfortable beds of course, but its the little things like how well stocked the kitchen and bathroom are that make the stay even more enjoyable. We try to keep the house functioning with all the things you would expect from your own home so that you can focus on enjoying the beautiful neighborhood and city.

What makes this property unique

The neighborhood is a mix of 1950's ranch houses and brand new million dollar modern craftsman. The street is very quiet and the neighbors are friendly. The park next door is an amazing place to watch the bayou or take a hike. Let the dogs run free in the backyard or dog park. All the amenities of Houston are a 15 minute drive.
