Loved it!

Everyone loved staying here! This house has everything, and that is unusual in vacation rentals. The location was fantastic, though the road up to the house is challenging in the dark. It was great to unplug from a Wifi connection and no cell service. We all had a great time.

Exactly what we were looking for!

This place felt so private and secluded but lacked no modern comforts. No frills, just a clean, modern, comfortable place to have a great time with friends and enjoy the outdoors. Everyone in our group wants to schedule another trip and re-book with Galice. The deck is romantic and fun, the hot tub is a nice little luxury, and the surrounding nature is captivating. The thoughtful box of fire kindling for the stove and the abundance of family games means you don't have to stress about the small stuff. I love this place.

Treehouse retreat

We loved our stay… Very cozy, and clean! We definitely enjoyed being in the middle of the Forrest, it was so peaceful. This house is very well stocked, and has everything you need. The towels are super plush, and the beds are comfy. They had a fire going for us when we arrived, which was a nice touch. Alisha checked on us to make sure we were okay. She also, made sure the hot tub was up and running properly. We definitely appreciate all the little things they do. ***Beware, that google maps does not send you to the right address. It says to go to the opposite of the actual driveway. So make sure to go up the hill, towards the River house. (And follow the wood sign, that forks to the right) The address given does not match the house address. There’s no service, but they do have a phone there, and cable. (I had service upstairs, sometimes)

Summer Fun

Our group of 10 ladies came to Galice for some summer fun. We enjoyed everything about our stay: the house is super clean and roomy. Lots of beds and bathrooms. Generous supply of towels, 2 grills, roomy hot tub. This house is set up well for a group. And for groups who come to area to do rafting. We loved our day on the Rogue River.

What a hidden gem!

This was one of the best rentals we have ever stayed at! So glad we found it! We will be back! The owner really knows how to stock a house. The house literally has anything and everything you always forget when you go on vacation. We came in when it was dark was a little difficult to find just because we had never been in the area. A kind man stopped to help us find the home and we followed him to the property, ended up we were right just didn't know it lol! Nothing bad to say about this beautiful home and location. Only bummer was check out was at 10am.... I get it though it's a large house and a lot to clean. Take the chance and do it it's worth it!

Very nice place to stay

My family and I stayed here during our recent trip to Oregon to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday. The house was very clean, beds with foam tops were very comfortable. Lots of room for everyone. It was a quiet and peaceful setting, close to the river. It was a short drive to Merlin for shopping on a good road. Management was very helpful. Only drawback - no cell service or internet access.

Whitewater Rafters

What a great place to stay! We checked in just a little early and the staff was so friendly and accommodating! The house was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed! The pool table was a great added bonus, it kept the guys very busy! Being able to sit in the hot tub with a glass of wine and watch the river was also such a treat. Who knew you could feed the deer out of your hand? What a great experience! Loved it!! Thank you so much!

There are so many folks that come from all over the world to visit our beautiful area to whitewater raft, kayak, hike and fish that this home was just an natural extension of being able to offer folks a great place to stay while visiting and vacationing in this area.

Southern Oregon is such a beautiful area. Great weather, great views, and stunning wildlife. Additionally, you have it all here. World-class golf courses, wineries that are getting national attention, artisan food makers and farmers, and the best in the world whitewater rafting, kayaking, hiking and fishing. Plus, Crater Lake National Park is located just a short drive from our home, so it offers vacationers/travelers a full spectrum of things to do while staying at our beautiful home.
