My two bedroom quad house is on a secure urbanisation in Playa Flamenca. It has a ground floor terrace and large rooftop solarium for shade in the summer and all year round sun. It’s very well situated for Zenia Boulevard shopping centre, the local Saturday market, shops, restaurants, pubs, bars and beaches.

On a secure gated complex in a well established quiet residential area, the house is within walking distance of beaches, bars, supermarkets, restaurants, a large weekly street market and the wonderful ZENIA BOULEVARD Shopping Centre.

Zenia Boulevard opened in September 2012 and is one of the biggest commercial centres in Europe with over 175,000m2 of retail space. It is open until late in the evening every day of the year, has free parking, free wifi and hosts entertainment events most afternoons and evenings. Shops include: Decathlon, H&M, C&A, Lefties, Zara, Zara Home, Mango, Primark, Alcampo hypermarket, Leroy Merlin, Guess, Geox and many others. There is also a pharmacy, lots of bars and restaurants, a casino and a bowling alley – needless to say we spend a lot of time there and really cannot believe our luck that it is only 10 minutes walk away from the house!

Casa Alegre is managed by a company based in Playa Flamenca so local support is available if needed during your stay. They will arrange to meet and greet you (including key handover) when you arrive. This service is free between 8am and 8pm local time. If you arrive between 8pm and midnight, they charge 25€, between midnight and 8am it is 50€.

There is a spacious communal swimming pool on the complex, with a children's pool area.

Well situated on the coast between ALICANTE and MURCIA, the house is convenient for exploring TORREVIEJA, CARTAGENA, the MAR MENOR and much more by car.

There are many golf courses in the surrounding area, a water park in Torrevieja, plus mini golf and go-karting a short distance away.

BENIDORM with Terra Mitica, Terra Natura etc. is a 1.5 hour drive away.

The property has 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom. There is a living/dining room with UK TV, DVD, and music system, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, ceramic hob, fan oven, microwave, tassimo coffee machine, kettle, toaster, iron etc. and a good sized bathroom with a newly installed walk in shower.

There are heating/air conditioning units and ceiling fans in the living area and in both of the bedrooms.

WiFi, Netflix, a hairdryer, bed linen and bath towels are provided.

Outside there is a spacious and comfortable downstairs terrace plus a large upstairs solarium with areas of shade and ALL YEAR ROUND SUN!

Airport transfers can be arranged if required.

Vacaciones en familia con mascotas

Estuvimos una semana, la casa es cual se ve en las fotos, tiene una excelente ubicación...cerca de varias playas ( incluso una para ascotas) y muy cerquita del centro comercial la Zenia.La comunicación con la propietaria excelente y con las personas de la inmobiliaria, también excelente.Disfrutamos mucho nuestra estancia en Orihuela, la casa es muy cómoda y la piscina es muy agradable, el único pero que le pongo es que no tiene ninguna sombra, pero por lo demás, está genial.Lo recomiendo 100%

La casa está muy muy bien, tiene todo tipo de detalles para la estancia, limpieza muy buena, y la piscina de la urbanización está muy bien. Si volviesemos por la zona de Orihuela - Torrevieja, sin duda volveríamos a esta casa.

Lovely little place to stay for self catering break

Very clean and tidy property, in a location we have visited many times. It’s on an estate with many different styles of property. Very quiet at night. Pool a short walk away, beach about 20 minute walk. It is a small property, ideal for a couple.

Bonne location

Lors de notre arriver nous avons ete réceptionné par mayte tres gentille qui nous a tout expliqué. Un petit probleme avec le wifi qui a tres vite ete réglé par l agence. Accueil au top necessaire ete la (eau, jus d orange, gateaux, et sangria). Piscine tres agreable pas trop de monde a la fois et tres grande. La maison tres bien équipée (clim dans toute les pieces, linge de lit au top, menage impeccaple, et le solarium le soir avec la petite brise du vent idéal)et pour se garer toujours de la place dans la rue. Seul bemol la vaiselle pas tres propres a notre arriver et le lave vaiselle qui ne lave pas comme il faut mais c est pas grave super vacances. Merci pour tout a tres bientôt.

Property was ok a little bit on the small side but fine for the two of us for the month, Didn't like the fact you had a walkway right in front of you where people were walk to and from places everyone had to go by walking the dogs as well so when you went out you had to avoid the mess (not nice), Not able to park outside of property was a bit of a pain and not alot or room on the roadway, The area is ideal as you can walk to everything so when you find a spot to park you can leave it reach the main shopping center in 15 minutes walk.

Great vacation at lovely vacation home

We very much enjoyed our stay in the apartment, however, we felt the location was less than great. We would definitely recommend visitors to rent a car, if they are going to stay in this apartment. Moreover although the pool is quite big, it is not possible for visitors to relax by the pool on a sun bed, towel, or similar. The pool, which is used by all the apartments in this gated community, is quite far away from the vacation home, therefore, we mostly used the pool for a quick dip before going back to the apartment. The neighbors seemed very kind, however, they have several dogs that are not only noisy but also several times managed to get into our area. The dogs seemed hostile, however, they were never physical with any of us. The apartment is amazing with a lovely terrace, we would love to stay here some other time and would certainly recommend this vacation home to others.

Relaxing family holiday

This was an ideal property for our 2 week family holiday in July. The house had everything we needed to feel comfortable and relax and it does really feel like a home from home. It's close enough to walk to shops and restaurants but with kids aged 5 and 7 we drove to the beaches which only took 5 to 10 minutes depending on where we went. We would certainly recommend Veronica's place to anyone looking to holiday in La Zenia but we think a car is required to make the most of the place. The air conditioning was great as it was warm during our stay so being able to put it on for a bit now and then was a relief from the heat. The style of the house is very traditional which we liked and the area felt extremely safe which was reassuring. Andy who manages the property was available to call during our stay if necessary but we didn't have any reason to. We'd certainly return to this holiday home.

Desde la llegada asta la marcha... muy buen trato. Casa muy bien situada tanto para mercado del Sabado como para ir al CC La Zenia. La casa justo lo que se describe, ni mas ni menos. Tiene todo lo necesario como para pasar unas placidas vacaciones. Zona tranquila, tan solo faltaba persianas en las ventanas a pesar de tener cortinas muy tupidas. Piscina grande. PERFECTA PARA FAMILIAS CON HIJOS. RECOMENDABLE.

Jolie maison bien située

Maison mitoyenne fonctionnelle et bien équipée (climatisée), accès par un passage piéton privé calme. Très grande piscine privée dans la résidence. Très bien située : le marché du samedi au bout de la rue, le centre commercial à 10 minutes à pied et 3 très belles plages faciles d’accès (5 min en voiture).

Excellent home from home and superb comms. with owner

This home was used as a based for us to travel around this area of Spain. At all times the communications with Veronica the owner were superb, nothing was too much trouble. The home really was a home from home with everything that you could possibly want on a self catering holiday. The upstairs sun terrace is excellent for enjoying the sun when not visiting the local areas and the down stairs terrace also excellent for taking the shade on those really hot times. On arrival there was a very welcome gift awaiting us and excellent information packs on the local area, shops, eateries, places of interest, bars etc. The communal pool is exceptional, large, clean and very inviting on hot days. La Zenia Boulevard is certainly worth a visit for food, shopping and a great Mall experience. The Saturday market at the bottom of the road was excellent for buying local food, fare and bric a brac. Local beaches are excellent, clean and very inviting. A great place!

Very fine place perfect situated

We (two adults with two teenage daughters) had a wonderful stay at Veronica's house for 15 days in july '17. The house is well equipped, cozy and safe in a secured community. The girls loved the attached common swimming pool. The house is perfect situated in walking distance to La Zenia Bouleward - the great shopping center. Several beaches are reachable by car within a few minutes. Unfortunately the neighbors had visitors with barking dogs for several days - otherwise we would have given 5 stars. We would definitely recommend Veronica's place. Best regards Carsten, Aarhus, Denmark

Excellent home from home. Ideal base for the holiday.

Wonderful property, well equipped and full of essentials and extras. Beautiful surroundings and great communal pool. Easy access to local amenities and beaches all within walking distance. Excellent outside area's for dining and relaxing, roof terrace ideal for sunbathing. Ideal holiday home, highly recommended.

5-day stay at Casa Alegre in Playa Flamenca

Arriving at the property we were met by Andy who introduced us to the property and showed us round. It was lovely accommodation in a very convenient location. Casa Alegre was spotlessly clean and the facilities were excellent. The Saturday market was literally at the end of the street and the beach was a very easy 15-minute walk away. Excellent position for visiting Zenia Boulevard - an open air shopping centre with lots of places to eat and drink. Several bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Would definitely stay again if we visited Playa Flamenca again.
